for four days straight i have been unable to unlock anything new achievement. i now stand at 25 quad AI and it looks like i need to quadruple that to be able to get 800 newspapers, something that would take another 10 days it seams. bad update your last one!

Here's a funny suggestion: When the money you have becomes extremely much (more than a trillion) make the number hoverable so that it shows the entire number (for immenseness of numbers) and perhaps clickable to show a screen that shows how much units of something you own like in the old xkcd money chart: (http://xkcd.com/980/huge/). For example if everyone in the world would give you 1000 dollar, you'd have your amound of money (and maybe show an image of a (growing) stack of money.

Do the Upgrades the give you 10/50 of investments lemonade stand to donut shop also set the cost of the next one? I notice that it doesnt change the current price of the next one but then after that does it jump up or do you just get the investments without the increasing costs? I ask because it matters wiether i buy them right at the start or if i try to wait untill the price is so ridiculous so i can reach the next achievement for Own x# of all shops

I think the upgrades' icons could be smaller and they could be in two columns. That alone would already make upgrading less of a hussle because of having to scroll down. Some organisation of upgrades would also be awesome :)
It would also be awesome that if you leave the upgrades screen and come back, you would continue from where you left, not from the top of the page.
And buy x100 would actually come in handy.

So, why is my Progress gone? was there some kind of wipe? I had 55 angels and 150 on all things.
And not sure why my las comment was downvoted, i LOVE this game, just wish my progress wasnt gone :(

I was somehow able to buy the rapture contingent twice this playthrough. It was somehow unlocked again when i opened this morning, but the profits of my businesses was the same as i left them. an additional x11 modifier makes quite a difference. you might wanna look into that.

Would be nice to know how long you've been playing to make the hard reset interesting. That way you can try to get all the achievements faster. Or even have a ''permanent achievement'' that would always stay there telling you how long you took to get all the achievements. Now this would be a good top score to compete for!

Someone say that, and i think the same: offline works if you don't turn off computer. In the whole night i get what i use to earn in some minutes... :|

A Flash Idea I just had for future upgrades : After playing for a while, all processes of business running take less than 4 seconds, all but the Oil Company... I think you devs should incorporate another "speed*2" upgrade to them, so that the "time remaining counters" become useless. Then, by deleting them, you would have room on-screen for new businesses...

@Levgre: That isn't the cause. I logged on today and got awarded 1 quinquadecillion, which is a ton of zeroes past where you are having an issue. It took <5 seconds for the calculation to work.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the new fix looks to be working great, though its still stupidly slow trying to get everything to 800, need 110 tredecillion to get there, earning about 2 an hour, 55 hours to get it, yay...

This might be helpful to some people. I used first option, my save wasn't wiped and offline bug was corrected. For your own safety do an export though. http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

It's not cause of your browser, wth. You're getting the money while you're offline and that has nothing to do with the browser, you idiots.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If the offline bug is indeed caused by the calculation taking too long, then it could be avoided by having less money earned while offline, or perhaps by having a faster cpu. I am basing this on seeing a significant delay before my money is added in when I go online, and only having problems at larger amounts of money.

Offline mode works for me. With Chrome, whether signed in or not. It's clearly just a "affects some people" bug right now.

Offline works fine for me now, what are You people using? It didn't work for me on chrome and remember to be ALWAYS logged on kongregate.

I really think you guys should really focus on the upgrade menu. There have been plenty of good suggestions here like a "buy all" button, specific menus, or making the all of the bought upgrades go to the bottom

I was close of getting the "all shop at 500 level" achievement. Then here comes an update that add achievement to the 1000th level ! Damn you HyperHippo !
Thanks for the great game.

I never took a close look at the achievements. I like that the Newspaper has so many achievements, and they affect other things, improving profits. That's a very nice touch. Because those things will get expensive REAL fast, and the bonuses really help.

I have a guess that offline mode not working is related to high levels of income. Early during my last restart, my offline mode worked 100%. Once I get to the point where I have 2+ tredecillion I should get when I login, there's either a pause before I get the money (for the lower amounts), or I don't get it at all. Maybe the calculation is taking longer and times out. I haven't coded with such large numbers, maybe a buffer time is needed on startup to let the game compute and add the money?

For those of you experiencing the "offline cash" bug: I'm fairly positive the problem comes from not having the game window in focus when the game loads (e.g. you open the game then look at another website while it loads up).
Therefore, to hopefully reduce the chances of it happening to you, be sure to keep the window in focus until the game has loaded and it has worked out how much cash to give you.
Obviously I can't 100% guarantee that this will solve your problem but it appears at least for me that this is what is causing it.

After reaching 80 quadrillion AIs, it's hard to believe I was freaking out about how 500 would increase my investment value 10 fold just last week. This game has worked its way into my every day life, and I will not stop until I have every achievement in the game. I'm almost at 900 of everything. If anyone who's just starting is reading this, be warned: You WILL get addicted.

Consider adding small banners that pass by when an achievement is accomplished, and as many people have stated, a $-per-sec/min for each thing, and for all.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey, do you think you might be able to sell things or be able to buy more things like space programs and stuff, or jobs/minigames to be able to earn some extra cash
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Since the new angel upgrades this game needs a feauture to buy back the angels spent on upgrades with cash. One could corner himself by spending all his trillions of AI´s and then resetting, gaining new AI´s real slow...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've noticed many misconceptions about the worth of the AI purchases, and I'd hate to have people shy away from these very powerful upgrades because of confusion, so I've determined rough "break-even" points for all of the non-building AI purchases. Note that I assumed these were purchased in order in my calculations. Sacrifice: 15,000. Mutiny: 400,000. Rebellion: 500 mil. Selection: 1.25 bil. Divine intervention: 112.5 bil. Rapture: 1.1 tril. Note that these numbers are roughly the number you need to have neither a net gain nor loss in productivity. The more you have, the better your return. Example: Buying rapture with 1.1 tril AI compared to 10 tril
10%(1.1 tril)=11 tril %. 10%*11*(.1 tril)= 11 tril%, or a gain of nothing
10%(10 tril)= 100 tril %. 10%*11*(9 tril)= 990%, or a gain of x9
