I like to reset often cause being able to reach 400 of everything, with 500 Oil Companies and Lemonade Stands, makes me feel accomplished. :)

Why does it cost four times as much to get the newspapers from 290-300 than it does the oil rigs from 290-300, that doesn't make sense.

so, do I just keep buying oil rigs and nothing else once i hit 500 on everything on the right side? It seems like anything else is a waste of time. 600 oil make approx 240 septillion right now. Cant make that much on any other investment.

@Xanthus179 The reason for that is most likely the first update, which added new achievements but forget to properly sync them up. Just reset when you are comfortable with your number of Angel Investors and all should be well in the next playthrough.

Xanthus, just reset that run if you want to get them-that was a bug for when a lot of those first came out. Resetting will let you get them- or you could keep going til you're comfortable resetting. Either way works.

I'm so happy to see that i'm not the only one constantly refreshing, waiting for the new update. I was starting to wonder if i should be worried about being this excited about an idle game update.

I've not played in a few weeks, and I was surprised to see the number of updates that had come across, but also that I had not made as much money as I would have thought. Also, there are some achievements that are appearing as though I don't have them, even though I should. For example, own 50 newspapers. Well, I have 200, so that shouldn't be showing as a gray icon, right?

@bluelanio Could have been an offline bug. Was making too much money before and it seems slow now. But I did the math, Its about what it should be.

can finally get past this click all the way up to 500 stands & rigs, 400 of everything else, dump all money into rigs, reset once AI's will double

For the guy who proposed a solution to the rounding error, do NOT use his proposed solution. It could lead to slowdowns. Instead, use modulus to solve the problem.
Simply (assuming progression is an integer):
if (progression >= 100) {
money += rewardAmount * (progression/100);
progression %= 100;
}
