@somerandompro: I don't think you should be telling us players to calm down. How I see it, they have had this done for all week since it was Kong's fault that it got delayed this weekend, so there really is no reason for it to be late at this point. Everyone keeps talking about how great and fantastic the dev's are. Really, I'm finding it a quite lackluster performance.

I strongly disagree with the comments saying that the developer shouldn't have said what they're update goals were. The only problem would have been if the developer had set a goal, passed it, and failed to explain why. The developers have been very good about why updates haven't been released when expected. Nobody can prepare for every possible outcome, and the problems with the release of updates have been out of the direct control of the developers. The worst thing a developer can do regarding updates is to go completely silent because I don't want to check everyday wondering if development is dead or not. This is something this game is not guilty of, and the reason I keep coming back, so stop beating them with a stick for not releasing updates on time due to unforeseen problems. The developers are human, and those comments are very discouraging to see so little understanding after putting in so much work.

I've noticed that we're losing a lot of money due to a rounding error in unity. At 7 speed ups (out of a possible 16) the lemon-aid stand has ~75% progression per frame, which means every 2 frames half a bar of progression is dropped. Once all achievements are earned you get one payment while 384 full payments are lost every frame. The easiest way to fix this would be to put a "for(progression>100;progression-100)" between the "if(progression>=100)" and "money++". Hope this helps!

The best part of this game, by far, is the developers behind it. They've not only made a very interesting idle game, but they've also acknowledged any mistakes they've made, answered tons of posts cheerfully even if the poster is upset, and they're fixing anybody's lost progress (including mine), all without asking for a single Kred. Seriously, one of these days I need to buy all of you Hyper Hippo developers a coffee or something. 5/5 and favorited. :D

@RedBeardedRob Just play until you hit a wall then reset. Say that nets you 5000 investors. Next time, play until you earn 5000 more. Then next time play until you get 10,000 more. Doubling it each time. I am at almost 1 billion investors now.

@RedBeardedRob: Angel Investors appear as your income increases. I find a good strategy is to reset whenever your AI gained is more than your AI owned; this helps a lot with the 'plateau'-type nature of upgrade costs. If you don't reset regularly, you can get stuck at a low earning potential for a while, waiting slowly to get better... instead of using those Angel Investors to quickly get back to where you were before the reset, and then running ahead even further.

The issue is the devs failed on their last 3 promises. The update was promised last week and wasn't. OK no biggie. It was promised by noon PST today and wasn't. They said they would keep us posted on any delays today and haven't. It's a fun game and has awesome devs, but they have kinda been failing to meet their own self imposed standards.

Dev's do a good job with the game, but need a little refresher in business. They set a deadline, and they missed it. NEVER do that. If uncertain, be nebulous. One should under-promise and over-deliver. Over-promising just gets you into trouble, an own goal.
Well put. We stayed up late testing the game so we could have a smooth launch, but Murphy's Law - we've discovered some nagging issues we need to address. We're literally QAing the last one right now. I'll mention this in the update post. Thank you for your measured words.

I wonder if they are going to change the way AIs are accumulated. I only just worked out how to calculate what money you need for each. For anyone who is interested, the amount you need is number of AIs squared times 4*10^11 / 9.

I guess all the folks who started to hate the game so much after noon were still fans at 11:59 AM PS; not random spammers from the internet. Well, the deadline was not met. Big deal, it is still the same great game. Maybe it should have be been promised. Well, the devs cared to share their outlook with us. It should be encouraged! The game will be out sooner or later. We all live in a deploy or die kinda world but seriously this is an idle game, a particularly good one. Just give it time. The globaly economy probably will not collapse if this version no out until ..tomorrow. Lets face it most of the folks on this planet are sleeping after 12 PST : )

@cueballkev yeah it jumped too like a time skip almost because to get that much money i would have to wait forever bc my oil rigs only make 60 sept every 6 or so seconds

@ZombieGuy 1 trillion AI (which is approx what you have now) requires 44 decillion total cash earned, which is also approx what you have, so your AI matches your earnings. Has your earnings changed?
