When is the Almost Done for the oil company going to be fixed? It starts "Almost Done" at 3 seconds but it takes 4-5 seconds to finish.

last night the offline modus didnt work for me (i ended up logging in with the same as yesterday) but when i tested this right now it worked... coming to recall of it... i might have turned off my computer without closing the browser (so it might consider it a browser "crash"?) dunno if this info is usefull. but this way off shutting down wasnt an issue before.

To all of you who say there is no offline mode, all I can think is try clearing your browser cache (export and save your data first). I just got back from about 13 hours of offline mode and everything is fine, also had a few hours yesterday and also fine.
The fact that offline mode works for some but not others suggests is a caching/version update issue and that your version has not properly updated from the broken one. Clearing your caches properly should fix this.

Anyone have tips on how to re-update the game manually, my game is currently "half updated", i have the patch notes on 1.3.1 saying its "currently" running on 1.3.1 but no rapture contingent unless I hard reset.

the offlinemode is sometime not working, in some case it is delayed by 10sec then the money pops up, (no angel ).. other times it will not work

offline mode works most of the time. Sometimes it doesn't. 5 hrs ago i had 1 tredecillion. When i opened I had 9 tredecillion. After 5 mins online I had 32 tredecillion. Not sure how that works.

OFFLINE ISSUE SOLVED! In the later game versions i stopped getting payed offline. But when I disabled adstopper and other Firefox applications the offline mode was back in working order.

To add to David's post, my files were actually located at "C:\Users\*insertusername*\AppData\Roaming\Unity\WebPlayerPrefs\chat_2ekongregate_2ecom" If you sort the files in there by date, the most recently modified file(s) should be the one(s) to delete.

So offline mode was working for me post-1.3.1, and then suddenly it isn't again last night. If it isn't a version issue, then is it a server matter with the increasing popularity of the game overtaxing it?

My game didn't accumulate much offline either. I have version 1.3.1. I closed the browser with like 50 something duodecillion, and 9 hours later, opened it again, and only had 96 or so duodecillion. In the 10 minutes the browser's been open, I've gone up to 120 duodecillion.

@Pyroe I don't have it :S But I have the last version, because on the info inside the game it actually talks about that upgrade, weird :S My last upgrade is the Donut Merger

For those of you who have troubles with the last updates: first, be sure to export your game (ingame: "Settings" tab then "Export". to be sure you don't loose it, open the notepad and paste your game save). Then and only then, try this adress: http://unity3d.com/webplayer/setup and clear the cache. If there is nothing there, EXPORT YOUR GAME, i can't stress this enough. If you don't, you will suffer a non recuperable hard reset. Close the tab running AdVenture Capitalist, go to the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\Application Data\Unity\WebPlayerPrefs\chat_2ekongregate_2ecom" (you'll have to make hidden files and folders visible in the folders options) and delete the file "prefgamez-XXXX-XXXX-live-player_2eunity3d.upp". Any other file would impact your saved games on other Unity games. Go to the game page and import your game.

@RaggedGlory: This is clearly the wrong place to be complaining. You should file a bug report, and if that doesn't help, post on the developer's wall. Commenting here won't help you at all, hence the downvotes. The guy who fixes the accounts works Monday - Friday, so you might have to wait a couple days.

To all the people losing your data: if people actually take the time to read the patch notes you would see that all you have to do is click the big ole EXPORT button and copy+paste your information to notepad or whatever. Ignorance is no excuse.

It started out simple, like any other time I've experimented with new games on kong. It popped up in my recommended games list and I gave it a shot thinking it would be harmless. I started with one lemonade stand, y'know. Taking it slow. Before I knew it I was at 30 stands, then I experimented more and more... then the angels really started to hit me. I take a hit at the game at least 3x an hour, I just love the feeling I get when I see how much money I've earned or the angel investors I've got. My name is Cody, and I'm an addict.

I'm not sure why people are still having issues with offline mode/upgrades not appearing because as of the newest version, it's working perfectly well for me. One thing I would recommend is after you load the game from being offline, WAIT A FULL MINUTE for your money to update. It takes the game a couple of seconds for me to update the numbers for me and my thinking is that for some other computers it might take longer. I figure that if you refresh before the game is done calculating the offline money earned, that the game resets the offline counter and you lose all that offline cash. You could also try backing up your save file, then googling "clear unity cache". Clear the cache of unity/update unity player if necessary then reload the game. If this works for you, please share in the comments so others might be able to resolve the issue as well.

Did something happen so that the game no longer earns money with the browser window closed? I closed it when I went to bed and I didn't think that I got any more money or angel investors earned, so I left it closed and checked again at the end of the day, and I know that I didn't earn anything because I couldn't buy anything.
