Found a way to make offline earnings work!
1. Export your save.
2. Go to Armorgames and their version of Adventure Capitalist.
3. Load it, go through the tutorial if you haven’t already, and import your save.
4. Your offline earnings should work!
5. Now, export from Armorgames.
6. Import back to Kongregate.
7. Enjoy!
Note: This should not discourage the developers to stop debugging. As end users we should not have to jump through all these hoops just to play the game.

Okay so, I've only ever been hit by the offline bug once. For those who are experiencing it, make sure you don't have any other tabs open, and that you're connected to kong (the little plug in the top right corner of the game should be green), and once the game loads in, don't do anything. Don't buy anything, don't check the other menus, just wait for about fifteen seconds. The offline earnings should appear. This is how it always worked for me. Best of wishes y'all.

Just a note to all those having problems with offline progress - i was using IE, switching to Firefox seems to have completely resolved the problem (really doesn't surprise me much...).

Lame, dude, just lame. I honestly don't get how hard it is for you to fix offline earnings. I mean it cant be much more than a timestamp, yeah?

wait, i didn't even know offline progress was a problem until now. What changed? I think your bug fixing created more bugs. I hope there is a fix for this offline progress soon!

Offline down, please fix the offline earnings is literally what makes the game playable, who has the time to leave it open 24/7? I have to work and take care of my pets :/

Tried 12 times to load my backup, unsuccessfully. Offine progress appears to be down completely, not just sometimes now.

I'm using Firefox. Before the 2015-01-27 update, my offline earnings worked sometimes. Between 2015-01-27 and 2015-02-19, they worked all the time. Now they don't work at all.

I dont know what you guys are talking about. The only time (since this game's release) that I've had issues with offline earnings is directly after a patch. any time I come back to see there are new features i expect my offline earnings to be 0. Once i open the game and close it again they start accumulating. Something tells me most of these comments are just ignorant idiots who're too lazy to troubleshoot it for themselves and just want to blame a dev for a feature that, for me at least, has always worked aside from immediately after patches.

Fun at first, but after a while the game gets boring as it has to run for hours to be able to upgrade the more productive buildings. The offline feature does not seem to work (yet).

I hate to blow on the same slimy, slobbery, horn as everyone else. Especially since this is a wonderful and FREE game... but this awesome game that I love is kinda broken. Also, offline progress is way more important than avoiding mouth herpes, so TOOT TOOT!

OFFLINE HAS NOT WORKED FOR ME IN DAYS!!! WTF?! I know this is a free game, but this is a prime example of a developer ignoring their base in order to put out something flashy and new. Obviously stretched beyond their means. I'm done with this game.

Okay, sorry what I see now is the game seems to freeze as if it doesn't work on offline mode, so what i'm seeing is that I'd need to stay on for 10 hours in between nights out.. just to get my 600 bill.. Right, I can do that.. (no I can't XD)

In the beginning I liked the game, now the offline earning bug is starting to "P" me off, I loved staying off this game and going out with friends.. you know to come back to something along the lines of 300trillion, but no.. same ol' 200bill at the end of the day, even when I get off.
