my game just got a forced hard reset. All my stuff is gone and now back to square one. And its not like my cookies got deleted. All of my other things are fine.

@HYPERHIPPOGAMES I would like to suggest better managers, so you could have managers which make the place faster by 2x 3x and then a 4x manager :D

For figuring out how much cash you need to get a certain number of Angel Investors total, use his formula:
((Desired Investors)^2) * (10^13) / 225 = Total All Time Cash Needed
You'll get your first investor at 44,444,444,445 (44.4 billion) Total All Time Cash, your hundredth at 444,444,444,444,445 (444.4 trillion), and so on. You only actually get the use of them when you reset the game (NOT Hard Reset!), and it tells you how many more you'll get if you reset.

@7starHaku i believe a more efficient way to do it, also a better way for keeping up performance would be to do, instead of a for loop, do something along the lines of progression = (progression/100) + (progression%100);
as it wont need to allocate new memory nor will it have to do as many calculations, in most cases atleast, this is asuming you are using and intiger value so the / 100 will give you, if say 201 progression, itd just give you 2 instead of 2. whatever

For everyone constantly asking about angel investors - they accumulate as you play. There's no special trick, just play. The more money you have, the more you will get.
I've just done a reset and they don't start accumulating until you have at least 200 of everything.

500 Newspapers is literally impossible at the moment, more upgrades are actually needed, or otherwise, I'm greatly looking forward to seeing the next update concerning the balance of the game. It's really annoying to be obliged to get 500 newspapers while they're worth nothing.
Anyways...I got almost 10 billion angel investors and still running.
My continued interest in Capitalism is freaking me out, lol.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I must have done the math wrong. I have 655 angel investors, so I thought giving them the +1% bonus would give me +655% income. It gave me about +25%. 1.2 quadrillion went to 1.6 quadrillion. :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@phugedaboudet It's not running a process, it checks how much your system clock has progressed when you open it again. It's only running while you actually have the game open in a tab.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmm my Upgrades tab is getting really buggy now, im getting gaps in between upgrades and even trough them. Alos when i scroll down it gets kinde twitchy

There should be a Dollar Per Second (DPS) indicator next to each store type. It could be static, a one-time calculation performed each time a store is bought, and just show a user how effective each of the stores are compared to each other.

For people that wanna know how export/import works really simple you have clipboard save on there :)For the import. Export ctrl+V on a notepad :)

so what happens when I'm "done"? Is the game going to keep a process running until I reinstall the OS or remove Unity or the browser?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@sral: The left side side businesses become more expensive than the right side around 300 buildings. . . its weird and doesn't make sense but it's just part of the game I guess
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
euh, found an big thing in the game, the 301th carwash cost 84.876 quintillion and the 301th oil cost 16.855 quintillion, this is a bit weird. i think you devs should look in to this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game! Keep the upgrades coming! For end game play, more expensive upgrades would be great. Have you thought about upgrades for offline play? Also, what about economic downfalls/problems you can upgrade to lessen & improve?
I look forward to seeing how this game continues to grow.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be great if there was an in-game timer/stopwatch that could be reset when we reset the game. That way we can see how long this current session of the game has taken. I would love to know how much faster I am getting to 200 oil rigs this time around compared to last.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
buying 10 at a time should give you the advantage of not increasing the price and all 10 would be calculated at the current price and not be effected the the incremental increase.

Unity web player keeps crashing when i try to start up the game, i guess i have idled too much and all the moneys crashes it? dunno
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think you should add more stuff to buy like ship ports, car dealerships, and construction companies. Things of that nature seem very plausible to own for a venture capitalist.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If not for divine intervention, capitalism would surely fall apart. The exponential price growth is insane, especially in Newspaper Delivery, where it outgrows Oil Company before 300 are bought, the only real reward being that Oil Company runs twice as fast for some reason.

I have a suggestion, how about we add an option in the setting to switch between the long and the short scale. Most continential european languages uses the long scale, where we go from million, millard, billion, billiard, trillion, trilliard; rather then the US short scale of, million, billion, trillion, quandrillion, quintillion, sextillion.
With the very large numbers that is used in this game, the long scale makes more sense, as it quite simply gives more room.

I now have 1,815,918,265,700 (one trillion eight hundred fifteen billion) angel investors. But my high score still reads 1,029,366,268 (1 Billion)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
How about some more achievements? The achievements so far are nice but pretty basic. Maybe something a bit more jazzed up?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've noticed that we're losing a lot of money due to a rounding error in unity. At 7 speed ups (out of a possible 16) the lemon-aid stand has ~75% progression per frame, which means every 2 frames half a bar of progression is dropped. Once all achievements are earned you get one payment while 384 full payments are lost every frame. The easiest way to fix this would be to put a "for(progression>100;progression-100)" between the "if(progression>=100)" and "money++". Hope this helps!
Thanks very much for the tip! We hadn't noticed this yet, though we should have be wary of it on principle (since the Lemonade stand has to refresh so quickly). We'll start to test for this - thanks for the tip, and for the possible solution to the issue. Cheers!

I bought some higher-end businesses with the Buyx10 button (which is really nice, by the way) but now my achievements are all weird. I have 400x and 500x achievements for businesses I only have 300 of, and in some cases some achievements are missing in the middle - it says I've achieved 500 shrimp boats but not 200, and I only have 100. There might be something funky with the Buyx10 button that's messing with everything else.
