Looking at the updated version at Hyper Hippo's website, I notice a couple (admittedly very small) problems. One, the Upgrade "Busniess Pages" misspells Business; two, the new font would look a lot nicer italicized and bolded. On the other hand, the subtle Adventure Time reference for the 500 Lemonade Stand achievement made me chuckle.

Like a few others I went to Hyper Hippo's page and checked out the updated game. Love the monospaced font and additional upgrades, especially the ones that influence your AI's percentage of investment increase. I hope before the game goes live to Kongregate that the continue offline feature is re-instated/fixed, because that does not work on the Hyper Hippo website's version. Other than that the update looks really good.
Heh heh! Yes, that's our stealth launch. We were making sure the game balancing is right (the final version will actually be tweaked a little), and that we won't nuke everyone's game when we launch the new version. Hey, been loving the game! What affects the number of Angel investors you receive when restarting the game and is there a number of Angel investors that is the optimal amount to restart at?

upgrades that you buy should start working automatically, you'll see the income figure change for that business straight away

I think it will be not as easy to implement the new update as we think, there are 10000's of existing stats, so I guess we have to start the game from the beggining

THE CONTINOUEST OFFLINE MODE is not working on (http://hyperhippo.ca/games/adventure-capitalist/) Please fix it!!! the game works much better there.

The game is already updated on their website (http://hyperhippo.ca/games/adventure-capitalist/), although it uses a different saving spot, so you have to start the game from the begining.
ALSO I CHACKED IT, THAT THE " CONTINOUEST OFFLINE " mode is not working there, so we have to be patiente.

Just out of curiosity, will we need to reset the game (and claim Angel Investors) to see the updates when they come out or should they just appear on our screen next time we load the game?

Dev posted over 12 hours ago now, thats all the news i see of the update, the update is running on the devs own website so its not like they havent finished it...

all my progress dissappeared.. I had 300 of everything but lemon stand and oil company ( 600 lemon stands and ~360 oil companies) I was aiming for 1m angel investors... (had 600k and had like 200k more if i would reset it. it's all gone now:(

I would love to see buy x10, x50 and x100 options in this game. Doing the clicking for every single item when restarting multiple times tends to get a little tedious.

Just saying, that the game is already updated on their website (http://hyperhippo.ca/games/adventure-capitalist/), although it uses a different saving spot, so unless you do a little jiggery-pockery, you can only play there from the very start :D (Still, at least you can see the exact content of the update)

just a heads up. My all time cash earned as well as the regular cash earned is glitching out. The thing keeps twitching up and down like crazy. Makes it really hard to read how much money I've made. :/

Hopefully the dev wont wipe saves now (and ever after) because (i guess that) many people would hate it to begin a new game especially the ones with 1k+ investors like me...

Yea, I have noticed that this dev likes to keep a tight leash on comments. I have never seen so many hidden posts just because people voice honest criticisms. I would not be surprised if this guy has a few accounts and slams on the "=" for anything that he wants not to be seen.

@Kirtonos Angel investors are cumulative. What you see on the Reset button is how many investors will be added to your current total when the game restarts.

@biancost Probably a no, since that would mess up a lot of things and make people angry. And updating it but still making it compatible with old saves is easy.
