I don't know what happened, but I hit refresh while the game was running and went from 2 quintillion to 7 quintillion. I hit refresh again but the game stayed the same. I don't know what caused the huge spike, but it was odd.

UPDATE: my fellow Capitalists. Thank you for your swift responses to the update - it's immediately obvious that our upgrades were a bit much, and have increased the game's speed an undesirable degree. We are working to fix it! For now, we have adjusted the upgrade values, and we'll be adding a lot more end-game content in our next update. Thank you again for sticking with us - your feedback is our guide through the wilderness.

AND its still buggered after 200 of each... higher items actually cost less. I'm upgrading the higher lvl stuff first like oil/banks and the lemon/newspaper last. Maybe the bug is the later you upgrade the more expensive?

There seems to be a glitch where The Dark Lord and Derrick Plainview managers cost 10 times what the tooltip says they're supposed to. The increased price is fair, so all that leaves is just changing the numbers. Dark Lord costs $10 billion when it only says $1 billion and Derrick Plainview costs $100 billion when it only says $10 billion. Regardless, thanks for the game; now I can simulate my dream of being a rich capitalist man. :P

At first I was like, Oh no! you broke it, make it go back. I see what you wanted to do though. Maybe curb the angel investor growth a lil and possibly make the upgrades a little more expensive to draw it out more. Just my opinion though. Fun idle non the less.
We appreciate your patience! It's obvious that our update was too aggressive. We hope you'll stick with us as we amend our calculations and make atonement.

I think the Shrimp upgrade is off by a few 0s.
400 -> 401 shrimp will cost me 1.675 sept.
400 -> 401 Hockey will cost me 538.432 HEX.

Mr. HyperHippo, I realize you have a lot on your plate right now with the miscalculated balancing, but I sent you a message about a possible glitch with the speeds of movie studios and/or banks.

I'm worried by the most recent developer responses that you're not realising that the speeds people are reporting are actually a bug. As an example, I started with 70k angel investors and 200 of everything, and could buy stright up to 500 of everything within minutes. It's almost certainly, as others suggested, a problem with some bonuses (perhaps already-bought achievements) being applied twice.

It looks like Kongregate can't take more than 2.147b (whatever variable limit) for high-scores. The world will never know of my 10b investors :(

Seems like the prices from newspaper to oil got reversed. Newspaper is the most expencive one now while oil company is second cheapest.

Around 300 things purchased the lower tier investments start becoming more expensive than the higher tier investments

there's a bug in that update. All my investiments becomes incredible fast, for be clear: the oil company get completed in 1 second. Then i get 100.000 angel investors in less then 5 minutes.

You need to really balance this out more. I wasnt really close to getting the 300 in each yet. i had 250 oil but that was my highest besides lemonade. I only had 50k angels and I finished the game in 5 minutes.
Yes. Our intention was to create a balanced flow to 500, but our most hardcore Capitalists are breezing through it. We're making adjustments now. We apologize for any disappointment or loss of faith in Capitalism.

Maybe this is intended to be this way, but upgrading the newspaper to 396 costs 56$septillion, where as the upgrade for hocky for 443 only costs 29$ septillion.
