There is a newspaper upgrade which costs 5 quintillion, the title is "Busniess Pages". I don't care if this comment will be downvoted, but is Busniess a typo?

Would it be possible to get a progress bar that doesn't flash rapidly at higher levels? It gives me a headache and is kind of annoying, even an option to turn it off would be great.

We are currently testing the "Fix" update in the Kongregate Preview mode. So far so good! We should be launching the update in the next hour or two. By the way - there will NOT be a forced reset in this update. Or likely any update. We're working on a different solution for the leader boards. Thank you for your patience, dear Capitalists!

Considering the fact that you start with a 2% rate for every Angel Investor without needing any upgrades, this could, in theory, make AI upgrades less efficient than the "All investments are worth 3 times as much" upgrades. Just throwing that out as a reference for any future rebalancing.

Downvote me all you want but the game and my whole computer crashes after playing for a while with a complete reset of my score. No forum to put this in so I put it here. Still 5/5 even though I can't play it anymore (probably some bug at my end but still, the developer should know)
Our new build that we're testing right now is a great deal more stable. I sincerely hope it solves your issues. It will be pushed live in the next hour or so.

Hey, it would be nice if there was a graphical display of the total income/ income rate evolution during the game time, maybe pointing the uprades related to some major changes in the graph.

The money counter breaks if you leave the game running for a while and get sextiillions while your best thing generates quadrillions. If you spend below quintillions the counter will zero until you get back up.

I guess thats to prevent people using the calendar-trick, but you might consider a serverside timer for offline functionality.

It's already been said but please fix import/export. I did it to test the feature without reading the comments and it gave me a ton of extra money/angel investors. Now there's no way for me to go back to the way it was and I was trying to level up legitimately.

I will never understand why people attack developers who are trying; working on improvements fixes and balance; respond to player feedback (with a positive attitude). These are the kind of developers we want to encourage! They are the best kind. It's much better than games where there's hundreds or thousands of people agreeing that something needs to be changed and the developer flat out ignores the feedback. Bugs and unintended results should be expected when games are updated; unless you want them to spend ages testing with just a handful of people instead of updating frequently and letting the player base provide feedback/bug reports.

I went to go buy the Shrimp upgrade at 2 quadrillion while I had 3.195 quadrillion dollars. My left over money was 695 trillion. Some of the payments are coming out right.

they need a feature that tells you the most valuable investment, under each product it will tell you how much per second more you will make if you invest in it. for example let us say you will make 100 billion with oil every 1:40 if you buy another oil company, under it will read 1 billion per second.

Frankly, this dev has no idea whatsoever how to balance and keep games balanced. This sort of game is seriously one of the easiest types to balance. Yet he/she/they have been everywhere with the balance. Half the time you could hit retarded numbers in minutes, the other half you'd spend days getting to a tril. For several days, post 220 ish the oil company became the cheapest unit. Wtf? Now that changed and the offline function doesn't work sometimes. It wasn't a bad game, but the ups and downs don't make sense outside of the pretext, "the dev has no clue how to balance."
The erratic number fluctuations you're experiencing were due to bugs caused by the update, and the number inversion is an intentional design choice. We apologize for the bugs, and we hope that once we have them fixed, your experience will be restored to harmony. We aren't erratically updating and changing the values of the game though - what you're experiencing is not working as intended. Thank you for for your frank comment.

when you restart do you keep your past investers and add the new investers
like i have 69k investers and if i restart now i will get 19k will that be added or just resets investers to the 19k

I have 4bil investors and still can't get 500 of each. Newpaper companies becomes the most expensive to buy after getting 400 of everything

@freser987, You only get those angel investors AFTER you reset your current game. Also, every time you reset, the angel investors add onto each other so if you had 500 the first time and 1000 the 2nd time, you get would get 1500 total. Just don't do a hard reset as that wipes all progress.

There should be an amount made per second under the bar for each investment. That way I can see how well my Lemonade Stands are doing compared to my Oil Companies!

Hmmmm just thought of something that could potentially screw up the entire reset. The importing and exporting of saves. If someone exports there save and then after the reset imports it wouldn't they be back to what they were at? Just more ideas to help the development :D

This might be because I'm not that far into the game but i think a reset would be perfect to get the scoreboards done :P a warning a few days or a week before the reset would be useful so that people don't come on and wonder what happened to there one month of profits from offline gaining. There is also the option that might be a bit hard to do but will prevent quite a bit of raging, that you make a message that shows up one time saying you need to hard reset in order to get into the scoreboard or something. And only player that hard reset after all the bugs are fixed actually get into them. Just an idea if possible.

As funny as Sextillion is, can we get a toggle to turn the numbers into sensible Scientific Notation "10^15" or whatever Sextillion works out to be, because I have no idea anymore.

Haha not that I'm complaining, but why is it that the earlier "businesses" are more expensive than the later ones? For example, I'm at 400 Oil Companies and Banks. The next Oil Company will cost $14.625 sextillion whereas the next Bank will cost $50.341 sextillion. I'm just curious to the reasoning behind this.

A wholesale wipe sounds good to me, though if you can judge time played and give long term players a base start.
I got up to 60k angel investors, but since the patch i have over a million... I would like to be able to go back to 60k and start from there.

I didn't know about the exploits but I think I ran into one by accident. so I have the game running for a few days, then I feel the need to close everything and restart the computer and when I come back maybe five minutes later and start the game back up I have about 20 quadrillion dollars saved up... wayyyyy to much for that puny amount of time at the business and upgrade levels I'm at. I'm uncertain at this point as to whether I should be happy at the extra money (with which I purchased three upgrades) or not.

I'm in favour of wiping the high score boards. They seem to be pretty meaningless if the scores were hacked or gained through bugs. But I see the other side where some people may have worked hard for them. Is it possible to reset them but give them a percentage of their score. That way at least they'll have a head start.

I think there's a bug where you exit the webpage and the log back on to find about 5 times as much money as you left even if it has only been 2 minutes

Also, a full wipe and reset for high scores wouldnt be a bad idea. Especially if people were known to use exploits. Whats the point in bragging that you were the best cheater? I know many people have legitimate scores, but it is unlikely those players would be the top scorers anyways. So I say go for it, but as someone else said the sooner the better. Dont waste the time of the legitimate players. Also, Make sure to announce it before its done, so noone is caught offguard. Possibly even give the player an option. Like you can keep playing, but your scores wont count, or you can reset to try to earn a top score.

Some achievements seem to not work properly. Like I have the 500 carwash one, but not the 400. Overall I like the new update. Many more upgrades, and achievements. Also, I didnt even know about the exploits you talked about, but now I do and they are gone rofl.
