just FYI, i have 5628686824 angel investors without it resetting to 0, so dont worry about it resetting due to largest integer value. With an all time cash of over 1.5 nonillion.

pz here (tied for 2 on the leader board for most angel investors). It's completely possible to get the score that dopplereffect and I have. I saw that he has a comment saying almost the exact same thing, but it's all about being careful not to go over (2^31)-1. That's the max for an integer. I'm too nervous to see what happens when you go higher than that because I've heard you reset back down. If that's true, maybe it's something the devs should look into because it would take forever to get enough of each property with 2 billion as the max number of angels.
Also, why do the lower profit things cost more to buy than the more expensive ones?
Two things:
1) Wow! Great job on reaching up that high. That is insane. We'll be implementing new functionality for the leaderboards, either in the next update or the one after. For now, we don't want to punish our honest players by tossing out the numbers, just to clean out the cheated numbers. (They were our fault anyway, with all the exploits).
2) The inverted price structure is intentional! And it will make more sense very soon. We'll also be introducing more upgrades with our new mechanics.
It's good to know that it's still bugging lots of people though. We'll address it for sure. (Also - it's nice when the biggest problem is something small-ish).

Why are paper boys getting gagillions of dollars a day? Are they like, the most amazing paper boys off all time? Are they delivering crack with those newspapers? Are they giving sexual favors with the morning papers?
Those are all important questions that a Capitalist must confront. For now, let's just say that newspaper delivery is a dying industry, and needs to be propped up with insane revenue.

I vote yes for the wiping of the scorboards so all those cheatengine whores can be erased with their not even smart fixed scores.

When you are buying 10, Should probably show how much 10 would cost when showing price, instead of still showing only the cost of the next 1.

THE CHEAPEST "500th upgrade" is 500 Lemons... The Most EXPENSIVE upgrade is 500 Newspapers. The 2nd Cheapest upgrade is 500 OIL Well... Things are obviously unbalanced.. Great game though !!
Each investment grows by a different rate, respectively 7%, 15%, 14%, 13%... to 7%. This makes Newspapers the least efficient of your purchases. BUT, newspapers will have another function soon, as will your other investments. It doesn't look balanced, but there is definitely a method to the madness!

So there must be another bug in the game's math. To buy 303 Newspapers I need about 128 quintillion. To buy 320 Oil Rigs I need 61 quintillion. Most of the investments aside from lemonade stands appear to have this inverse ratio as well. Don't know if this is on purpose, but it feels off.

I'm not looking forward to the hard reset. I think it is essential and something you should definitely do to clear those bugged scores out, but if you're going to do it you need to do it sooner rather than later.
We're probably not going to do it. We'll fix the boards another way. A lot of players let us know that they simply don't care about the boards, and don't want to lose their progress. So we'll find a way that anyone who DOES want to get on the boards can opt in. We're still figuring this out though, so it won't be in our next update likely.

That x10 button is really nice! But is there a way to show the total price of the 10 items we buy ? Thanks for all the updates!

Hey, dev. On some sites there's your game where we have upgrades like x3, x5, x7, x11. On Kong we have only all x3. Is it bug or something else?
Those are old broken versions of the game. Ignore them. ;) We're pushing the new update everywhere right now. We might restore those values (x5, x7, x11) in a future update. :)

Was thinking about upgrades to the managers. Even with price fixes, at a certain point without a hard reset, which most people don't want to do so they can get 500 of each eventually, there could be something for each manager that is an upgrade, making the shop run more efficiently (cost less, or produce money faster). Just something to do in the meantime while waiting for 100 sextillion dollars to save up

10x button does not stop you from buying less than ten if you do not have enough. This should just grey out the button if ten cannot be bought.
No no! If you can't afford ten, it just buys what you can afford. This way players can spam click to their hearts content, and then switch to x1 for more accurate purchases.

after some time (270+- pieces each) price of the less profitable investments skyrockets and costs several times more than price of banks/oil companies...
what is the point in that? 3:)

brotherbeast:
Absolutely! If you've got 13k AIs, then when you reset you'll earn money 260x as fast as you would with no investors. So what would have taken 11 days could be earned in about an hour.
And your AIs add up on every reset. So if this time you have 13k, and next time you get another 18k you'd have 31k AIs the next time around.

Something weird about price increases. It seems like it swaps to Oil Company as the cheapest to buy, and cost increasing exponentially all the way back to News Paper Delivery.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Moritur, the real top scores are likely way bigger, I have around 3.5 billion AI myself. I'm not sure who's currently holding the highest though, as the leaderboards were turned off some time ago.

What exactly are these Angel investors... is it worth resetting my game and losing 200 of each of my stands and all the time it took to get there? If I reset now, I can get over 13k investors.

Some of the upgrades aren't priced correctly or something. The Lemon upgrade for 2 quintillion wouldn't let me purchase it until I have 4 quintillion and the business pages I had to wait till I had 7 quintillion.
