This is a seriously long idle the way that I am playing it (working to get enough angel investors to trophy out in one sitting) its fun but i would like to see some original features introduced.

I bet this guy meets Bill Gates daily at his local cafe, of which he owns the entire chain of as well as multiple other internet cafe chains. Then I bet Bill cries himself to sleep every night, in a hotel chain of which this man owns.

Inverted price balancing is PURPOSEFUL because of a couple reasons
1) Oil rigs, Banks, and Movie Studios are the three big earners as you go up in the ranks. The other 7 investments give you a nominal amount of money as you progress through the game. As you get even farther, the oil rig is really the only true money maker, as it is going fast enough with enough money to make the other investments seem useless other than for achievements
2) Lemonade stands are meant to be a token of your achievement which is why they are not inverted. It is a sign of how far along you are
3) By inverting the price of everything but the lemonad we stand, you have the potential to earn more money than you would if it wasn't inverted. If the oil rig cost as much as the newspaper did from the 499th one to the 500th one, you would never even get close to the 500th because you would never produce enough money since the oil rig needs to be the cheapest in order to fund the newspaper at its highest cost.
You have hit the nail RIGHT on the head here. This is our intended user flow. We'll be introducing some pop-ups in the game soonish that explain, "Hey! Newspapers aren't worth as much as Oil Rigs now! But they're still useful for speeding up everything else).

there is something wrong with the price of the upgrade of lemonade stand with the ice cubes and the upgrade with the carwash with the sponges. i had quintillion and it wouldn't let me buy it until i got 2,5 quintillion same with the 7quintillion. this isn't a great bug or something but its annoying please do something about this

It would be awesome to be able to hold the mouse button and that it keep buying 1 more like evey tenth of a second. When you reset your game and you have a lot of angel, it's just a stupid clicking party for 1000+ clicks. I really like your game!!!

I contend that leaderboards are probably going to be meaningless shortly after a reset happens anyway, unless the team manages to somehow plug every single potential issue and not accidentally create any new ones in the future.

Regarding reset: a full reset is a bad idea, as many people don't care about the scoreboards and thence wouldn't be understanding of the reset. Introducing a new feature (or multiple) for those who like the scoreboards would be the way to go.
Thanks for your feedback. These are definitely the players we're keeping in mind as we mull the idea over. Right now I'm leaning toward "no", but I would like to keep collecting more feedback.

Suggestion regarding reset: after the exploits are fixed, only allow scoreboard reporting if the player hits the 'hard reset' (or fresh start of course) which would flag their game for allowing to submit high scores. Don't force those of us that don't care about leaderboards and have been playing legitimately from the beginning to reset if you don't have to.
We'll fix this! A number of players are experiencing a speed bug that's making the game WAY too easy. We're literally sitting in our office this very second and fixing it. Thanks for the feedback!
There's WAY more demand for oil. :) (But seriously, we'll be explaining this in-game soon. We're getting lots of feedback that this looks like a bug, but it's very intentional!)

i dont know if you guys are aware of this bug so here goes one i found:
i had the game open on a chrome window and drag the url to the bookmarks area to make it a bookmark cause i read that it keeps going if you're offline, when i left it on the bookmarks bar i accidentally clicked it and it opened the game in another tab (2 games running), and i realised i had more money in the second one.
after checking what else had changed i noticed that there wasn't really MORE money, the thing is that i was 3 mins in the future (comparing the investments timers from both tabs).
after a little research (exploiting the bug to see what happens) i noticed that the time gap continues to grow at a rate i dont really know, but after 10/15 times i did that, the time gap grew to 20/25 mins, so everytime i open another tab i get the money i would have made in those 25 mins, but i get it instantly, so its a pretty big bug.
thought you guys should know.

@rmghan You automatically get angel investors as you earn money. But you don't get to use them until you reset the game. The angel investors do stack as you keep resetting though.

when you reset your game a second time, do the number of angel investors stack or is that your new amount of angel investors for your third run?

I'd personally prefer no reset, or a way to opt out of the scoreboard system (like what is present in Anti-Idle) that would let you avoid the reset. I don't really care about being ranked against other people, I care about my fun and part of that comes from my progress.

re: reset - Yes do it, because the amount of angel investors i've got now is stupidly high, and with a reset in the basic dynamics of the game really we all need to reset to get the feel for the new (version of the) game
re: Balance. It's not just that newspapers cost more and are worth less than oil rigs, but it's also the fact of you can push lemonade stands to a ridiculous amount and yet it never feels like its earning fit in with the rest of them. My suggestion would be to change the "all things upto n for boost" and introduce a more staggered system where, for example, you need 1,000 lemonade stands but only 100 oil rigs (others distributed through out) to gain the speed boost. This will help with keeping things much more 'value for money' otherwise I find it's all about pumping oil rig as high as quick as you can, then topping up the rest just to give the oil rig more speed boost.

If y'all are taking suggestions for upgrades, some that cause one to increase the profit of another might be kind of fun. e.g. A merchandise tie in upgrade that increases movie studio profits by 1% for every pizza franchise owned, or a free advertising upgrade that causes newspaper delivery to increase earned profit in all the sales related businesses by .1%.

Hi, I'm 2nd in the scoreboard without cheating. It is perfectly possible to get that amount of angels. In fact my score is equal to (2^31-1) which is the maximum possible for the scoreboard. Get more and the score turns negative. However, anyone who has more than that number can still get my score, if you know how those numbers work. Btw, the first place, and the big scores in lemonades stands are obviously cheated.

wow i can handle a lemonade stand while distributing pizzas and newpapers and im also taking care of the donut shops and wash cars look after my banks and shoot a flim while taking care of my shrimp boat and extracting oil from ground, man this guy is skilled at multitasking i wonder if he can actually drive and text without crashing. ;)

A cool added feature would be some sort of stat on the settings page of how much you are currently earning per minute. I'm probably not the only one who likes to try to figure out how long I have until I can hit the next upgrade. This would be very helpful.

I definitely agree with the kong-wide reset. Doesn't matter though the high scores will still be dominated with cheaters.

I think having leagues would be best for this... i.e. how path of exile has like 1 week leagues and soo on.
Not sure how hard it would be to set that type of deal up but the fact is id like to have lets say a main account where i just do what i do with it and would also like to compete against others but like cheating will happen.
That being said i would rather this game not take the competing approach and go more towards making the game better and adding more stuff in.
Its an idle game i dont wanna compete in a idle game.

I feel like I'm being punished when purchasing newspapers or car washes. It doesn't make sense that the investments with the smallest payoff cost the most. That's a pretty stupid design decision imo.

why are all the first investments more expensive at some point in the game than the later purchasable ones? Oil on 300 costs less than Bank on 300 and bank costs less than movie and so on... did i miss something? does it have to do with the Angelinvestors? because i have like 2 million of them.

i noticed somthing strange tho. The Build cost of the 298th newspaper costs 73.469 Quintillion
whereas the 301st oilcompany costs 18.035 Quintillion.
Like that doesnt make sense?

It would be great if there were something to click, that would speed along the time, after you've gotten all of the managers. Like clicking removes 3 seconds from the time.

I don't care about exploits and fixing them, nor do I care about highscores. If someone wants to cheat in a game like this let them be and have fun their way. Just don't waste time you could use developing funny new gameplay to prevent what you won't be able to prevent anyway.

Fair enough. The reset itself isn't what bothers me, it's not knowing what's causing it. 2 times now, one after a download and one after a crash. Just want to make sure there isn't an underlying cause that is somehow my fault.

if people who started before the (maybe) comming reset get a benefit over people who will start after it, the highscores will become useless.
