there seems to be a steep price for the newspaper upgrade. For 324 to 325i need around 2.8 sextillion. but the Oilcompany from 335 to 226 only costs around 180 QUINTillions. Is this price difference intended?

Release the game balancing patch. Ensure there are no exploits for a week or so. Then, wipe the boards. Consider truncating the AIs vice wiping.

Hum that's weird but i have 290 Oil and the next will cost 8,568 quintillion
and 285 newspaper will cost 10 quintillion... dunno why but in my opinion oil should be more expensive than newspaper.

Got over 2 Billion Angel Investors and all of the upgrades will still will take almost forever to get five hundred newspaper stands.

I think the reason the prices go up disproportionately is because at some point it would be cheaper to buy other business rather than your target business, for the achievement double speed bonuses... so having 500 everything instead of sinking all of your money into oil companies would be a better investment, in a way, because your income is doubled seven times over

an someone please explain to me how the things which produce more profit are cheaper to buy? for example, i have oil company at level 300 and to go to level 301 it will take $16.855 quintillion, whereas newspapers, which at level 288 will take $18.160 quintillion to got to level 289???

After you give us new update, without cheats etc. Let us hard reset at our will and if player resets his progress, give a STAR next to his name. So everyone will know, if you have huge score and dont have a star - you are not true :)

I wouldn't mind a wipe so long as you bring multi-buy in at the same time. Good lord I've done a lot of clicking, and I'm not prepared to do that again.

My only problem with the entire kongregate wipe is that you'll still run into people who will cheat to earn their spot on the scoreboard. I suggest a way to reset, but allow the import of the old data.

something did go wrong... by upgrading everything onto lvl 300, the cheapest is (correctly) the lemonade stand, but then the second cheapest is the oil company and then the banks and so on ...

I've got it: when you finally reset everyone's save files, have it so that you get to keep some, up to a maximum amount. The maximum would be something fairly small, but enough to take away some of the tedium of the very beginning of the game.

Why is it that the lower businesses (other than the lemonade stand) eventually cost way more than the higher businesses, like when you own 290 newspaper stands and 290 oil companies, the newspaper stands are 3 times more.

@Chammy - not entirely sure if this is happening in the case you described, but sometimes when upgrading, a business will "jump through" to the next cycle if enough time has already elapsed where it would finish when halved - or quartered (from the all XXX of everything achievement) see if your money up top spikes up, when that happens

Kongregate high scores can always be hacked, that's a problem with them on Kong. They are independent of the game and get screwed up all the time.

You didn't miss anything in that time Chammy, it rolled forward. So if something takes 10 minutes, and you get the 25th after 4 minutes (so there is 6 minutes left), since you've already been at it for 4 minutes, and the time is cut to 5 minutes now, it will roll to 1 minute remaining. If you get the 50th at the same time, the time is cut to 2.5 minutes, but you've still been at it for 4 minutes. What it does is pays you for the first 2.5 minutes, but your clock will still show 1 minute remaining (4 minutes in, 5 minutes total to the second payment), but it will be one minute remaining until the second payment instead of the first, which you got as you bought your 50th. Hopefully that makes sense.

I found what I believe to be a typo? The second shrimp upgrade shows to cost 2 quadrillions, but i couldn't buy it until i got only 2.5 quadrillions, and after the purchase i also lost 2.5 quadrillions.
