Gotta say, out of all the idle games I have played. Which is a lot.
I would have to say this one has hooked me the most.
What hooked me?
The fact it's so hard to get the 500 of everything. I like to complete everything in an idle game or at least try.
I think it's brilliant how the newspaper costs so much more. It makes you feel like it's an easy task, but when you get down to it, it's pretty hard to get it. That's what is keeping me playing this. Resetting every 500m-1b angels in order to see if I can get enough this time..I don't even fully know why I'm hooked into it for that reason. But it's worked and I love it.
Kinda like having a $100 note just out of your reach and when you go to grab it, someone moves it a little further away.
The developers behind this game are amazing, with frequent updates and news on what is happening. Not many developers would care that much about their community. Thanks for making such a great game and keeping us up to date with everything.

HYPERHIPPOGAMES, I think it is fantastic that you are a fan of capitalism. Many people don't see it as the positive force that it is. Some games that I have played have actually had capitalists as enemies. Thank YOU for YOUR continued interest in Capitalism.

There is some weird bug with the game. Normally i get ~3-5 bilion angel investrors/~12h period but sometimes i get like 10 times more then that. Same with the money earned.

@Wford - dont' worry, you're not in any danger of being able to reach 500 of everything 10 minutes after a soft reset, trust me. I have managed to build up a whopping great almost 1.5 QUADRILLION Angel Investors, and it still takes me a couple of hours after a reset to get everything up to 500. So yeah. xD

PRICES: So the reason everyone is confused is that the update log cut off the team saying that the price inversion from newspapers to oil rigs mid-game was intentional... Apparently they had this in their June 24th Update notes: "We’ve received a LOT of feedback regarding the inverted price balancing in the mid-game (newspaper become WAY more expensive than oil rigs). This is actually intentional! We’ve flagged this issue for better in-game communication and conveyance, and we’re also hoping to introduce some strategic elements that alter the prices of investments. We just want everyone to know for now that it’s not a bug, and we’ve got plans to clarify and make it a deeper part of the game." - but you can't see it because June 24th no longer shows on the update log.

Been playing for 2-3 weeks now, still short of the elusive 500 newspapers. Understand the maths completely, it'd have got boring if I were able to buy everything in 10 minutes of starting a new game (currently have around 150bn AIs and haven't been patient enough to get to 500 of everything).
Wouldn't mind seeing a few more upgrades, but to be fair there's only so much you can do so this isn't the end of the world. Really looking forward to the new features the developers have talked about, would be good to have a little more interaction at the later stages.
5/5 top game, somehow more engaging than all those TD games

I don't know if it was supposed to be like this, but why the newspaper delivery is so much more expensive than all the other business? I mean, it doesn't even give that much money anyway... I've got 500 Oil Companies and 400 News Deliveries, the logical thing would be that the price of one Oil Company would be way higher than the News Delivery, but is it? Nope, the News Delivery is 11x the cost of the Oil Company.
But man, this is my only complaint of the game and I've been playing since it hadn't been updated yet, that must mean something, doesn't it?

Awesome game - thanks for all you're doing. I have hit an interesting "bug", or maybe just a challenge!
I have reset a few times, so have a good pile of Angels and now got everything over 200. With the Oil Well at 300, the next purchase is $232,879 quintrillion, whereas the Newspaper (at 295) is set at $980.820 quintrillion - over 4 times the price. Thought this was a little odd, so wanted to report while you're looking at doing an overhaul anyway.

I now have 9.1 billion angel investor but seem nowhere closed to getting this achievement.

Just wanted to say, for a first game, this is an amazing job! I understand how tough it is to get over the initial hurdle of learning a language and especially organizing code to be readable and easy to edit. (I'm still trying to figure that out with Java, haha...) Keep up the great work!

So, when I can use my octillion to buy ten oil fields that will make me another 5-10 septillion or a handfull of donut shops to make an additional 5-10 quintillion, what is the better investment?

Hello again. I sent you guys a responding private email stating that I dont have a bug report and how to go about getting one. My electricity went out for one second and when my screen came back on my shyt was erased. Twice this has happened. Can I suggest adding a way to hide already purchased items so I can quickly glance through menus and see how much I need for the next purchase?

Newspapers and all the other things are MEANT to be more expensive than oil after a cetain point... it's all planned, and there will be something for it in an update, I think.

The formula for angel investors is: square root(total earned cash/ (10^13.225)). You dont actually get the investors until the next reset (not hard reset), see the settings tab to check how many you currently have and how many more you will get next reset

quick question, what stats earn you angel investors? I'm assuming money made impacts it, and maybe time invested, perhaps even how many of each business you have invested in, but I'm curious as to which impacts more/how much on the rate of gain of angels :)

@dwoodsky, they're cumulative. With that many, you should be back up to where you are now in no time WITH the added power if 1800 angel investors.
