Been a while since we have heard from you Hippo. Can we expect our update by the end of today or will we have to wait until next week?

I have 500 oil companies and they cost me 12.690 septillion each now
I have 400 News paper delivery and they cost me 114.100 septillion each

It's been weeks now and I'm still playing this game. I can't wait to see what the devs do with it in the future! I love the fact the newspapers become so ridiculously expensive later on! I believe that's a big part of why so many of us keep coming back to this game.

You guy's promised an update this week. It's Friday. I hope we get an update, as this current endgame is just getting boring.

I've said it before. The prize balance after 300 buys doesn't make any sense. But before you gamers react, read the descriptions ;) The developer did this on purpose. Take your own responsibility en just READ

after 300 oil upgrades are cheapest while the papers are most expensive!? why is it like that? is it a bug or a feature to annoy us?

Journal log, Day:1,012,450
After years of careful investment and bribing angels for an extended life I have yet to reach my goals. 21 billion strong my army marches to the dreaded new stand for glory. One by one, they fall victim to the treachery of diminishing returns, and the scourge of capitalism. But I fear not for the end is near.

May offline calculations be wrong? i was offline by 8 hours and get only 1 nonillion.. all my bussines are 500 (oil is 684).. cant be right

I may be the only one, but the scroll bar on the Managers and Upgrades tab sometimes messes up a little bit. It's length is bigger than it actually should be, so when I scroll down to the bottom, it instantly shrinks, and the bottom of the list just flashes. Not a really big problem, but can be a lil' bit annyoing sometimes. Still 5/5, great game guys :)

is this a bug or something. my 300point oil company requires 16,855 quintillion to purchase while 300point donut shop requires 60,409 quintillion. it happens although i reset.

@dksorav Why would we hate newspapers being more expensive then Oil? Oil is what's earning 90% of your money. Why would we want that to be most expensive? that's not beneficial for us. That's actually a huge decrease in income if they turned it around.
Is it logical? no. Is it something i've seen in any other game? nope. But it doesn't really bother me. They should add an explanation though so people stop asking.

I've come to the point when progress had become to slow to be fun anymore. I am looking forward to the updates. The updates are a huge driver of what makes me come back again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and once again.

This is not a chat room, use PM. @dkosarev If you don't like the game, stop playing. @davidgoad @splejx You're not changing anyone's mind so stop feeding the trolls.

what is the correlation between cash earned and angle investors? does it go down as you reach higher levels of income earned, total earned? does it go down as time goes on?

And why they haven't been able to make an expansion along these lines is humbly explained in the latest update notes. What you are recommending can come down to simply adjusting math. Adjusting the math is a boring solution, in my opinion. Not to mention how cheated I would feel to work at this game for so long just to see some deus ex machina see it turned useless. Adding features is a better alternative. Look in the top comments; it's made up of things said that we all as a group generally agree on. What's the group agreed on in the comments? 1) HyperHippo is awesome for caring about a product that we spend neither cent nor kred on, and 2) Good ideas for new features.
Trust the community. If something game-breaking is implemented, the community will vote it into the lime light. If you played during the disaster of the first version of the first patch you have already seen this. I trust HyperHippo to do right by me, and that's because they trust the community to do right by them.

@dkosarev, First off, please stop with the made up percentages. You cannot assume that because a group is the loudest that they are the largest, nor can you know what everyone wants. Second, they already tried making a blanket statement in the updates once. From the June 24th update log:
"We’ve received a LOT of feedback regarding the inverted price balancing in the mid-game (newspaper become WAY more expensive than oil rigs). This is actually intentional! We’ve flagged this issue for better in-game communication and conveyance, and we’re also hoping to introduce some strategic elements that alter the prices of investments. We just want everyone to know for now that it’s not a bug, and we’ve got plans to clarify and make it a deeper part of the game."

@dkosarev "...because there isn't any explanation neither in the game nor in description or the head of top comments." you should better turn your monitor on or learn to read

Another humble request: add a time-to-angel-investor or investors/sec tracker to the settings page (so we can see how many investors we get per second.

@davidgoad "established feature touted and re-touted as a bug" If it looks like a cat and meows like a cat, you can call it a dog but it's still a cat. And as you justified in your comment, you downvote those not because you disagree, but because you don't like em coming. And noone can blame people keep asking about it because there isn't any explanation neither in the game nor in description or the head of top comments. An "established" bad feature is still bad. There were many other things "estblished" in some places and times (like slavery and cannibalism) which wasn't so great. The only thing that will stop people commenting about it is either devs make things logical or devs make a clear statement in game or description about how they care about every players's opinion but not in this case, because this is their little precious genious idea and that's how they see the world and not even the fact that 90% players hate it (and the rest hate it too but won't admit) it can change it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@dkosarev, you can't be 100% sure that those who don't like the percentile inflation feature are the ones burying comments. Which is more likely? People sticking with a game they consider broken to vote down comments that they themselves agree with? Or people who have been here enjoying the game for a month getting tired of seeing an established feature touted and re-touted as a bug?

With nearly 15.5 Million Angel investors and all the upgrades purchased and half the investments at 400, I can definitely say this is my favorite Idle game.

@davidgoad The world is not black & white and while I think that developers of this game and their engagement with players are great, I don't think that that makes them saints and we should just praise their bad design decisions as OMG GREAT ones just solely on that. And my comment was mostly targeted not at the devs but at those commentators who (I am 100% sure) don't like the price issues themselves but still are blindly slapping minuses on the all comments regarding that and shouting: "Shut up! Our praised and beloved developers made this decisions and you shouldn't doubt it! It's heresy!" instead of just saying maybe "Well... developers are great, sure, but I kinda don't like this thing too, can you at least consider changing it?" :)

@dkosarev, how could you comment something so incendiary to an excellent dev and a loyal fanbase, then punctuate with a smiley? Either this is the most ham-fisted attempt at satire/sarcasm on the internet, or you really don't understand how insults work. This game isn't for everyone; I'll concede to that. But if you are among those whom this game doesn't make tick, just quietly leave. Don't sh*t on those who enjoy themselves here, or one of the most dedicated devs I've seen on this sight. Leave the space for people who might have something worthwhile to contribute.

The Angel Investor idea is what takes this from a boring Idle Game to a FUN Idle Game. The idea of letting it set for a while then coming back and resetting the game to have an added advantage is clever and fun. Yes, a person can let it set for days and eventually earn enough to max out, but I love the fact that I can reset and in a couple hours I am outdoing what I would if I didn't. Brilliant!!!!, or maybe I am stupid and if let go on its own I would be farther ahead.

Maybe there could be a certain discount depending on the amount of a certain thing you buy.Like if i bought 100 lemonade stands with a buy x100 option i would get a certain discount,

Hey, you mindless hamsters who can't think independently and who just repeat what one or two people said! Just stop minusing all the comments about price of newspapers etc. being higher than the price of oil rigs. Regardless of it was done by purpose or not, it's just stupid. If you want diminishing returns - make every next purchase bring you less money or make the price multiplier higher for everything, but please, make it consistent and not confusing! Seeing newspaper cost THOUSANDS times more than the oil rig just makes me want to declare both people who designed this and who likes and approves this fools and leave this game forever :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What happens after we get 5 or 6 hundred oil? The game becomes pretty much pointless then. I'd like to be able to save a princess or something instead of waiting a day in order to decide whether I want to buy 5-15 more oil or cash out 5-15 million angels. Anymore, an angel reset is seeming less and less intriguing than a hard reset.

I think that you guys should put update-priority on the upgrade and possibly manager functions. It would drastically improve the game if you added different types of upgrades/managers, rather than just improving profit or automatically running the businesses. Thanks!

I have been playing this game for about a week and I love it. However, I am just getting to the point where I have around 300 of most things, and I noticed that the Oil Rigs, at 300, for 1 costs 16.855 Quintillion. However, the newspaper stand, at 300, costs 97.163 for 1. It is the same for the rest. At 300, the Oil rig has the smallest (Excluding the Lemonade stand) price. And the Newspaper stand has the largest price, but the price of the rest kind of slope. It is at the point where I have everything at 300 except the smaller, supposedly cheaper stuff.
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I just happened to notice it.

I love how I can basically pay off the debt of every single country in the world with about 500 lemonade stands and 250 car washes.
