The MOST addicting idle game I've ever played!!! This would make for an amazing mobile game for things like iPhone, iPad, android, so on. Might even be able to make a little money with it too! Seems a dollar for the game would be a fair deal, and have a free version for those who can't do so, and use ads for the free version... And have a button in the settings to pay to get rid of the ads... Anyone else think that'd be a neat idea? I'd surely buy it if I had a phone... XD

Is it just me or does the high scores section bug as well? I have 4 billion angel investors now, twice as much as the top all time score it shows now. Yet my name isn't anywhere in the list and it says my best score is 1.3 billion angels investors.

I know this idea is probably too much but i would really like this idea sawn by the Developer. How about having our own Business in each Continent(this idea needs the button «World» so you can enter in other continents). Then you could go to other continent to start from zero but with profit from other continents.

So glad for the 10x buy button! It helps a lot. I just want you guys to fix the scrollbar for the upgrades. Also, it seems to be taking me forever to get everything to 500. Maybe add more upgrades?

This may be a little much, but as a student of business administration it would be awesome to see the balance sheets and cash flow statements. Think maybe you could make that happen for a fellow capitalist? Or is dev cooking the books on these projects?

Love the x10 multi buy button, but could it be coded to grey out if you can't buy a full set of 10? Personally I see a x10 button that buys 1-10 based on an invisibible price jump to be a tad annoying. And I like round numbers. Same thing for the Angel investors, which can rise so fast that pinpointing an exact (round) amount of them is nigh impossible. Perhaps add the option to only claim a define-able amount of angel investors when you reset? with the unclaimed excess carrying over for the next reset pool. Again, a round numbers tick of mine, but X thousand AI looks cleaner then a string of semi random numbers :D

A better leaderboard setup, maybe something like this
(10^1 would be 10 investors)
(10^2 would be 100 investors)
(10^3 would be 1000 investors,etc)
If any of these could be added, It would be great, It's not often that you see an Idle game like this, with such a dedicated developer, 5/5 out of me!

Since yesterday evening both my laptop as well as my hard desk are not able to run the Unity webplayer for this game any longer. I come to see the starting screen with my last income and the lvls of the shops. But nothing moves on. New installation of Unity player does not help either. Thus I guess the problem is caused by the game not by the webplayer.
It seems to be the result of fixing how the game records its time stamps. I know this is going to sound crazy, but can you try letting the game hang for a while? And if your browser says its not responding and asks you if you want to close it / turn off the plugin, just say no and let it hang longer? I'm testing this out right now, and my stalled game finally came to life after about a 75 second wait, and now runs smoothly. Let me know if this doesn't help at all, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

i used to play this game all the time but ever since the update it freezes as soon as i open it... idk what you guys did but you ruined the whole game
ggould178, could you do an experiment for me? We're trying to fix this bug, and I think I've got a weird solution. When you open Chrome (if you're using Chrome), when you try to open the AdVenture Capitalist window, let it run for a long time. And when Chrome says that Unity isn't responding would you like to close it, keep selecting no. I just ran into this issue on my home computer, and after letting it run for probably close to 75 seconds, the game started and is now working fine. I'm not sure if this will help yours, but I'm interested to find out if it does.

yes my laptop did reset. Ive never lost data from it though, but hey i guess there’s a first for everything. i really do enjoy this game and now that the fault was on my end i will return to rebuild my empire. any chance on adding a cash per/min for each investment

You get +1 star for the Buy x10 button, but lose half a star because the scrollbar on the right pane still drifts like crazy.

Is the car wash final achievement a reference to Tasty Planet by any chance? Or something of the sort. Also great game. This is more addictive than drugs. Happy snorting and money making.

I don’t know if this might be useful, but maybe a decibel scoreboard type might be easier to implement and use. In the decible measuring system, the “ranks” are measured exponentially. For example, while a jet engine is (for example, this might not be true) 1,000,000,000,000 Units, a whisper would be 100 Units. These numbers are too far apart to think about, so use logs. A Jet engine would then become 12 Decibels (12 zeroes) while a whisper would be 2 (2 zeroes)!
*Decibles are then multiplied by ten for some reason though (120 decibles, 2 decibles.)
Maybe so the, 1,000,000,000 would be log9 Angel investors on the scoreboard instead. It sertainly will clean everything up.

@ Shadoweflash: If you run the numbers in mid-to-late game, the $/sec on the early businesses is a mere fraction of the oilfield (one snapshot I had put oilfields earning ~50,000 times Car Wash at around the same number of each)

this game is terrible, my boat is floating ALL THE WAY above the water, how UN-realistic is that. YOU NEED TO HAVE SOME BOAT BENEATH. and i would never by a car like that. sheesh add an investor car shop if you would -5/10. (game play is like crack cocaine, i love it and i cant stop doing it :D)
Oh man. That boat does look ridiculous. We'll add that to the list off, "WHAT WERE WE THINKING" and get'er fixed. Deeply sorry. Physics is awesome, and we do not wish to offend it.

Sorry - my previous comment was in response to the multitude of comments about the exponential growth that shifts the balance between 200 & 300. If people are paying attention, they would already know that each business has a different price per unit fixed percentage rate. & not claiming it's a bug, or that it changed in the update.
Power losses and unexpected crashes are wiping progress. How far along are you? I'm considering doing something rather drastic to help players recover their progress very soon. In the meantime - we're trying to figure out a more dependable way to save your progress. Very sorry for the loss.

Please do a Kongregate-wide reset. Somehow the numbers in my game got large enough to completely render it unusable; unity player crashes now every time I try to play.

Fun game! Been playing it off and on for about a week now, and I feel amiss if I don't have it running when I leave :) 5/5! One comment, maybe have the completed upgrades be moved to the bottom of the list, or even removed altogether? Once I've purchased upgrades, I don't really want to have to scroll through the list of them to get to the ones I'm working towards.

not too pleased at all. spent three days with this running on my laptop upgrading occasionally, i had a total cash collected of over 2.7 quadrillion and 213 angel investors saved up. was going to wait till i maxed all achievements to reset with my added investors, only when i checked back everything was reset. not to impressed with the game at all. i would appreciate a response.
Yikes! Let me ask some quick questions: was this at all accompanied by a computer crash, or an unexpected reset? There seems to be an issue with the Player Pref file being corrupted when this happens. Also - what browser and OS and you using? We are currently working on a better save and recovery system, but we understand the loss of your progress in a progress-only game is immensely frustrating.

i'm not sure if the kongregate wide reset would be necessary. Even with aggresivly using the export import glitch (i'm getting 10 nonillion each time i do it, which takes 30 seconds to load and almost crashes unity haha) AND having 49,527,602,755 investors i'm still nowhere close to being able to get 500 news stands. even with the glitches I still havent been able to get all the achievements, so the reset may not be neccessary, but could be nice just to keep the scoreboards fair for those who tried to play pure.

So the pricing going bassackwards at about 300+ items is intentional? That defies convention and sense. Perhaps a good reason for this will become apparent in time, but in the meantime the rating is getting nudged down a star.
We understand. The reason we balanced the game this way, at least in a ludonarrative sense, was that the demand for Newspapers was going to plummet, and Oil Rigs would remain steady. However, we'll be implementing a system where your newspapers actually increase the effectiveness of other businesses as you advertise with them. But talk is cheap! We'll get these systems in, and perhaps that star will nudge back up.
We fixed it in about 30 seconds. But we're not rolling out updates haphazardly. We're doing them in batches, and QAing the heck out of them. We're doing an update tomorrow (or the next day) with some more fixes in.
Sharkhunter - if you're not digging the game, we totally understand. If we can fix or improve something, let us know. But it *really* sounds like it's irking you...
