Since there's no scoring system, it's not really clear how the game scales in the later regions. I've played for about 2 and a half days I think, and I've gotten just under 1400 angel investors (AI), but getting oil to 200 is pretty hard still, I'll need lots more AI to get there I think.
This game would benefit from further expansion in the later stages, which become less strategic and more just a waiting game. Good work overall though! I really like the achievement system especially.

So I did the math. This is how many times slower (TS) one business is compared to the last one in the list, so the newspaper is 5 times slower than lemon, car wash is 2 times slower than newspaper, shrimp is 4 times slower than donut and so forth, 5, 2, 2, 2, 4, 4, 4, 4, 6. This is the profit relative to the last business (PTL), so the newspaper makes 60 times more profit than lemon for each expansion of the business, 60, 9, 8, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 27.6 . This is PTL divided by TS, 12, 4.5, 4, 6, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4.6 . PTL/TS represents approximately how much you should be willing to pay to expand, so ideally newspaper should cost 12 times more than lemon, car wash should cost 4.5 times more than newspaper and so on. Of course to begin with you need to try and leap towards getting the achievements and upgrades for lower level business, but later on when you have upgraded them to 50 or 100 (depending on how many angel investors you have) the math is helpful to be efficient.

Is there an exact percentage for how much the price increases when you purchase any of the businesses? I would just like to know for future calculations :P

Doesn't really sound like a guy I would want to run my lemonade stand..sounds..destructive.

there is a problem, the game still run when you close your computer, but if the windos is still open when you put your computer on sleep, when you reopen your computer you wont gain the money, the alltime will go up but not your actual money

how does the gaining of angel investors work? do they get harder and harder to get or is it just every "x bucks" u get a new one?

i have 150 oil companies and it cost 660 trillion dollars to get another one a this point i have over 700 angel investors and it take like a whole day for me to buy like 10-15 more oil companies thinking about restarting

Some things I've learned: Leaving it offline works. Leaving it offline is a bit faster. If you have a manager for a business when you get an achievement, you get to have the extra time carry over(donut shop takes 25 seconds, you get an achievement 18 seconds, bonus money and 5 more seconds). That means you should buy the 10 hour upgrade as soon as possible(remember to buy 3x upgrade when you get the achievement) The most effective way of gaining angel investors is get the highest achievement(as it halfs the building time)that isn't unreasonable, close adventure capitalist, and go to sleep.

In any update, the Mute button should be the size of the Earth's moon and visible on every single page, just so that people would stop complaining about there is no Mute button. Maybe the placement in the Settings menu is too much of a challenge for some people to actually find and press it. Who knows. Welcome to the Interwebz; complain first, demand later, never notice the blatantly obvious.

I have 140 pizza places. If I want to buy one more, it will cost 233 billion dollars. Must be a really nice pizza place. But more significantly, my pizza shops will pretty much have to work until eternity JUST to pay back that 233 billion investment for 1 more shop!

Very nice idle game! shame kongregate highscores aren't implemented though, this way it will never be able to get badges and the (extra) attention it deserve.
As mentioned by others already, it would be nice if there was a income/hr for each investment type.

Awesome idle game. It definitely sets itself apart from the others with the business focus of the game. It's also pretty nice that you continue to earn money offline, but this can be abused by changing the system calendar. Other than that, this is a solid idle game. Would definitely like to see more updates and features.

Just incase anyone is wondering, there is a formula to figure the total amount needed to get to a specific level, say you are at 25 and want to get to 50 on shrimp
I use 5 cells in a row: first is name of business, second is cost of next upgrade, third is current level of shop, fourth is desired level, and fifth is where the formula goes. (THIS ASSUMES YOU USED THR FIRST ROW FOR NAMING)

the costs from 200->300 are to say the least very bad basically you gotta afk for a solid 3-4 days in order to get them so why bother investing that time when after you achieve this the game is over and all you are left with is a reset with the same game but going a bit faster?

You can buy twice with both mouse buttons, sometimes bringing you negative. You still have the cash bags in the picture, presumably filled with IOUs

I'm still playing because I want all the achievements, so, I think that if you wanna keep people playing, it would be good to keep updating these achievements! Also, more upgrades and stuff would be nice!

btrotta, resetting at 500 angels increases profit by 10x. That means 10 hour of 500 angels stockpiled is the same as the money you would get from 1 hour of 500 angels not in stockpile.
