I'd love to test how purchasing different upgrades at different times determines the ending output of money. For example, if I buy all angel investors first, and then I purchase the *3 upgrades, will I get a different number if I bought the *3 first and then the angel upgrades. The difficulty with testing this is that the base values always change due to getting more angel investors every reset. Perhaps you could consider a sandbox mode where we can set different variables such as angel investors to do some testing?

Ok so looking through comments since my question about whether angel invester earn rate was affected by the last update I saw one other person that noticed and mentioned it. Not sure if it was intentional or not since it wasn't mentioned in the release notes. Is it possible that adding the 3decimals also put 3 decimals in the earn rate formula. I'm currently sitting on $2.7Nonillion earned this game but only 2.3Billion angel investors to earn vs what would've been around 4-5Billion before update give or take a few.

Bug..? It says that things are worth more than they actually are. Ex: marked as worth 1.181 sextillion, but I can pay for it when I am only in the quintillions.

Also, about the 10x button issue. Scratched my head a bit and... why not make some colors? :). When in 10x mode - "gray" button means, that you can't buy all 10, "soft-green" - for buying 2-9 and "light blue" for 10+ ^_^.

Now I know why this are called idle games. I can't help but remain idle staring at the green bars go. It's a silly game but so mesmerizing!

Hey i found a major bug with the game, i did an import to reset my progress with the file that you sent me, this put me at 6 billion angels. When i reached 2.112 billion angels to gain i did a soft reset. Instead of having 8 billion investors, i only had the 2.112 billion. I was lucky and still had my import so i reset back to the point where i had 6, but it happened again with exactly 2.112 billion to gain, then instead of adding it once again lowered me to 2.112. Help? I'll send a bug report as well.

I really like the fact that clicking the 10x button will buy as many as you can afford if you can't afford the whole 10. Blocking the buy buttons as you suggest would make it less convenient in my opinion. If it really needs to be addressed, maybe add a stat indicating the total amount you can afford at any given time (if you can find the space!). Or maybe just the amount out of 10 that you can afford (only when 10x buy is activated). That way it will be easier to see what is happening when you click to buy 10 and only get 4.

I disagree with the notion of an undo button as this is not capitalism! I would like to see a sell button (at a reduced rate maybe .60 value?) to add that feature for those who made an error in judgment!

I read the July 4 update and definitely agree with locking the x10 until it is available with one caveat: if the x10 button is usable it needs to display which product is purchasable at that rate (highlight, draw a box around, etc). Oftentimes I buy sporadically and have some x10 upgrades available and some unavailable. I love this game!

9.8 Billion Angel insvestors 626 Oil wells, can only buy 1 donut shop every 8 hours. It's intentional? If so please do explain..

saw a question on here asking about the x3 profit, It works like this.
$1 base x 3(1pro) = $3, $3 x 3(2pro) = $9, $9 x 3(3pro) = $27, $27 x 3(4Pro) = $81, $81 x 3(5pro) = $243, $243 x 3(6pro) = $729, $729 x 3(7pro) = $2187, $2187 x 3 ( Final Pro) = $6561........SO thats 1 Lemonade at $1 with the 8 Profit upgrades.

Over the past few days of playing this game, I've been experiencing some really annoying bugs with the scrolling specifically. After about 10 minutes of playing, the scrolling on the upgrades page will start getting all jittery, jumping around when I scroll. Usually after multiple hours of this going on, the scrolling will just go to hell. I'm not sure how to describe it well, but half of it disappears in a pattern. If you would like a picture of the disappearing issue, let me know. Other than that, I have no real complaints with the game. 5/5, second best idle game I've ever played. I would like to see this go further, perhaps more upgrades or more markets to own.

I'd really like to see a button for "buy 10 of an item only if you can afford them all", in addition to the current "buy as many as you can, up to 10" button. But other than that, this is really weirdly enthralling. Five stars!

@tlcbonaparte a monopsony can exist between a manufacturer/supplier and reseller. I am the reseller, and I sell so much product that I buy over 90% of all of the product. I'm not technically the only buyer, but I'm the only buyer they care about. The monopsony is in my favor because I'm dictating the terms as the buyer. An example of this is Walmart,

Why is monopsony the second upgrade? Monopsony is the buyer's market, which means consumers dictates prices, which is actually a bad thing for sellers...

@Arai, that's a formula for figuring out how much your percent is going up, not for figuring out what it is. For example, If you have 180 angels, but you had 150 before you reset, it would be (360/300-1)*100=20. 20 percent more than last time, which checks out because 60 is 20 percent of 300.

@NickP2 It's not a glitch; since the time required halves, if you're over halfway already it completes immediately and the remainder rolls over.
You'll notice that if it's not halfway there when you hit an achievement, the bar will simply double in length. Cheers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@nickp2 i noticed that when you hit an achievement it adjusts the time, and so if you are more than halfway toward a goal, it will adjust past the goal and give you credit. What's really interesting is if you are in the last quarter and you hit two achievements (ie on the oil rig getting to level 25 when everything else is already level 25, you will get two achievements) then you get paid out 3 times! this is because you would have gotten paid 3 times already in the amount of time you have waited with the achievements unlocked.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think I found a glitch on Adventure Capitalist. Whenever I get an Achievements it pays out on the thing. For example if I have 5 mins to go on the Oil Company and I get to 100 (which is a achievement) it pays out. Even when there is still time left. I happen to me on others (other then the Oil Company.) Awesome though. Loving it.

do i get less angels for my money?? a day ago i countet 1m angels each 1.2 octilion dollar today i counted 1 m for 1,4 octilion dollar..:( getting harder to get all on 500..:P

I would love to see an undo butom. Or maybe a preview of the money you will earn if you buy another building of the same type. For example, you have 2 lemonade stands, and you are producing 2 dollars. A preview could appear on the side, letting you know that if you buy another one, you will produce 3.

I read about angel investors formula and... where it's explained? I only see "Each angel investor provides +X% investment value", and what i understand is "You earn 'base' * X/100 * 'Angel Investor' :|

@screenburned if you are only getting 66% on 1.2 million new angels, then you probably had roughly 1.8 million angels before you reset (or about 750,000 if your total angels now is 1.2). Either way, the angel % is based off the ORIGINAL value, not the value at last reset. So if something is worth 100, and you have 50 angels, it is worth 200, but then if you reset with another 50 angels, it becomes worth 300, not 400.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ScreenBurned, are you on your second iteration or further along?
if it's not your second iteration, then you simply miscalculated the EFFECTIVE percentage. effective_percentage = ((new_percentage/current_percentage)-1)*100

Locking the "Buy 10" button is ridiculous in the current settings. If it's unlocked, people who want to buy precisely 10 buildings can still do that, and people who want to use it as a "Buy max up to 10" button also have their way. If it's locked, the first group is basically unaffected, but the second group can't use it as they want. If you add a "Buy Max" button like you mention in the comment replies, it becomes irrelevant really, because the second group will use that one. However, if you add a "Buy Max", I'd much rather have a "Buy 100" button than a "Buy 10" button. It's really just a late game feature, and I would basically only ever use it to get everything other than oil up to the next achievement level without spending a ton of money by going over the limit.

Could someone explain what the investment value is?
and how 114million angels, each given an extra 2% investment value.
only increases the profit by 66%. and not the (2x114million)% I used to think it was doing to my profit.

There should be a timer on the settings tab. Time since last reset. Would give you an idea of how well you were progressing.

I think you shouldn't lock the X10 button. even if you can't afford X10. 1 X8 click is still better than 8 X1 clicks. But I'd like to see how many CAN be bought. (with a X10 cap, of course)
