I was doing rather well at the whole "capitalism" Unfortunately, my computer must be a smelly commie, as my 4000 angel investors magically disappeared. Time to grind back up there

My favorite part about this game is that Cabe Johnson is the manager that runs the lemonade stand I played Portal 2 so I know why

There seems to be a problem with when it says "almost done" it adds an extra second to the timer so it says 3sec then almost done but its actually 4 more sec

Should the lower tier investments get more expensive than the higher tier ones when you reach the 300 mark? Newspapers cost 2 sextillions while the oil cost +-300 quintillion at that point.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
who the hell downvoted the comment about scaling, its true, there's a slight issue where going from 300 newspapers to 310 costs 1.972 sextillion, however 300 oilcompanies to 310 only costs 232.879 quintillion, while this makes me quite happy it doesnt really fit with the way the game works.

Just want to say that you (the devs) are some of the best I've ever seen. You're pretty quick in response, actually answer questions and listen to the suggestions, and are really nice about it. Keep up the good work.

Does anybody else feel like the last 4 days have been forever while waiting for updates? I don't think i've felt so impatient since i was a kid waiting for Christmas :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The late game feels unbalanced as only AI count matters significantly as the time bought businesses pay them selves are in days. And it is only about if those last 100 (useless) newspaper can be bought in reasonable time. Maybe some more upgrades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I doubt this was intended...
Once you hit 300 total companies (sans lemonade stands), oil companies are cheaper to buy than newspaper deliveries...
At 300 total, buying one more newspaper delivery would cost you 97.163 quintillion; at 300 total, buying one more oil company would cost you 16.855 quintillion...
This pattern seems to be followed by all other businesses (again, sans lemonade stands), going from newspaper deliveries being the most expensive, to oil companies being the cheapest.

just a heads up, I reset with the Angels and I can't seem to buy the Derrick Plainview Manager, cost shows 10bil and I currently have 55bil. I currently have 2 oil rigs, is there a min? Thank you

@Hugrr - Yes, 1 Nonillion is a real number. It is 10^30 in the dominant number scale (US). Read more here at --- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_large_numbers

I've been playing since release. I've hard reset several times for different reasons. I've just finally rated it 5 stars instead of 4 just because of the love you guys show to everyone, and the frequent updates. Very excited to see what updates you guys have in mind. 5/5 and favorited. :)

First of all, love the game.
Secondly, Im just wondering why when I get to around 300 Newspaper Deliveries, It is costing me more to buy more than it is for the Oil Company?

A sell feature would be nice. For example, to sell off a few businesses in one category to purchase a few new ones in another category in order to get you to the next threshold would be great.

"We’ve received a LOT of feedback regarding the inverted price balancing in the mid-game (newspaper become WAY more expensive than oil rigs). This is actually intentional" -hypperhippogames. For people who think the pricing is a glitch

From the June 25th update “We are now working on new End Game stuff, permanent achievements, Anti-idle features, and an upgrade system we’re calling “Synergy” that will make those ultra expensive Newspapers and Car Washes worthwhile.”

Adding new components to a game like this can be difficult. Players focus is the simplicity of the game. Currently not much distracts the players from the main goals: To make lots of money so there they can reinvest it to make more money.
What happens when a player is at a point where reinvesting it doesn't give a lot of output? Resetting every day does give results, but with the current scales with investments there feels as if there is little to no progress at certain points.
Here are a few idea's that may relieve these issues:
1) Take the meta further, invest your angels for a bonus that can only last that game reset.
2) Reward players that are able to gain so much money vs their max possible potential for making money.
3) Allow players the ability to create their own investment building late in game.
4) Allow players to purchase the houses/moonbases upgrades.

Theres this weird price glitch that i keep on getting. Say if i get 300 oil companies, it'll cost 200 quintillionth buy 10 . but i when i get 300 car washes, it costs 3.6 sextillion to buy ten. I hope this gets fixed soon, or at least explained how the price systems works

Love the game 5/5 all it needs is to grey-out the buy options when you're in x10 mode until you can actually buy 10, it would just be so much more convenient. :)

Hey Hyper hippo! Just wanted to point out a bug for you. The scrolling is sort of messed up at the moment for the upgrades. it looks like the manager sized scroll bar before you start scrolling if you were just in the manager menu and most of the time when you do scroll it glitches and makes it really hard to see what your scrolling to. Thanks!

luls 1st quadrillion. this is a really good game.
I have plaved other idle games such as cookie clicker, but this is just so simply great. I probably did have fun with the others, but this is right up my alley. great job!

I know this is a little bit outside of what this game is, and it's a pretty big undertaking versus what the game does now. But what if there were mini-games. The lemonade stand could have something like Papa's Freezeria. The Hockey team could have some kind of shooting challenge. Based on how you do in those mini-games you get a temporary boost on that business. Just a thought.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What I truly love about this game is that you don't need to click once you upgraded the managers. This way i can have it going in the background and doing some other thing as well while the big money comes in :D

Hello developers of this game .. i have lost everything without reason .. i didn't do anything and i had 11k angel investrors and some quintilion , can we do something for this? .. please? :)

i want to play a mini-game whit MY character, and then, i want to dress him whit MY preferences, and to design him face

How about optional businesses? For example, you could choose Lemonade Stands, Soda Machines (higher cost growth and income), or Penny Candy (lower cost growth and income). It would be something you choose at the start... I'm not suggesting buying all every game. IT could add both some color and some strategy.. especially when you guys add some of the synergy bits you've mentioned!

How many times are people going say something about the pricing. Its not a bug it is intended to be that way now stop saying things about it. + this so all the idiots see this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That moment when you get your first 100 angel investors but you have to reset to earn them and you notice you have atleast 100 of each and every thing and you want to go on and earn more angel investors but the fact that 1 angel investor gives +2% you reset the game only to realize you just gain an extra 2$ for every 1$ of lemonade stand.;)

Guys, I've noticed that the scaling is a bit off in some of the later game. I'm at 350 Oil Companies and my next x10 purchase is showing $6.859 sextillion. Whereas, I'm sitting at 340 Banks and its next x10 purchase is showing $7.202 sextillion.

what's the criteria used to grant angel investors? I mean, I really wanna know my goals while I'm low level! Otherwise brilliant game, I've been playin' it for a few days and watching these numbers grow just makes me happier!
