there are no 10x and 100x buttons because he put in a tag at the top right that changes all buys to 10x and 100x which also shows you the price to buy at those x

what the hell is this shit? this is a computer not an iPad. what a shit update. not being able to see upgrades and businesses at the same time was a completely pointless UI decision. No longer able to hover over upgrades/achievements to see what they do. NOTHING is intuitive anymore I have no clue what I'm doing. Sorry guys, but it looks like you lucked into a great game with the original but you lack actual game design skills.

The last upgrade, AI effectiveness +10%, is exactly the same as "profit of everything X1.5". So, it may look like it's very useful, but it's nearly useless.

It just whitescreens on me. What the heck is happening to my computer? One day, it's running full capacity, fast as possible. Next day, I get on, nothing works and it's loading like crap.

The new UI is something of a mess I'm afraid. Having the price of businesses constantly covered up by "BUY" is incredibly frustrating as is, to a lesser extent, having the achievement popup cover up my donut shops. It's not clear to me quickly which number represents income and which price for each business. It was very helpful in the old UI to be able to view upgrades/managers along side of my business to, say, compare the price of an upgrade with the price of buying 100 more of a give business. Its not clear (and it would be completely opaque if I were new) that clicking on the "1x" in top right should give me the option to buy in multiples and its even less clear (just stumbled onto it really) that clicking the picture in top left brings up stats. All in all I find this new UI much clunkier and less functional than the older one.

Well, I'm not going to say the update is terrible. Really, it's not. It would take some getting used to, though. We're very used to the old ways, but I think this is a step in the right direction. As many people are saying, it's cluttered and busy and distracting. Trying to buy donuts and having the achievement bar block the buy button is a very bad choice. Losing the scroll bar fixed a lot of the jumping problems, but it's counter-intuitive and awkward with a mouse. Separating Angel and Cash upgrades is brilliant and some of the extra menus, like upgrades and managers, only need slight changes to be as good or better than the original. But the real problems come in the main screen, the whole point of the game, the investment buying screen. Glad to hear you're working on it already, but perhaps going backwards to take a step forwards is the right thing to do.

I love that you guys made this new update, but I think is kinda complicated and messy. I can't see how much do I have when buying upgrades, I don't have a scroll bars, I like the design but it's overcomplicated (when compare to the old menus)

I'm also calling foul on Kongregate. No way is the rating for this game holding steady at 4.2 since the update rolled out. I've been watching it like a hawk and it's not going down like it should be

On top of having many of the same issues with the update (prices scrolling when you are trying to buy, no scroll bar, less efficient interface, slower, etc), I was wondering what the new mangers do, the ones that say they reduce cost by 99.9999%. I buy them and nothing seems to change.

With the old interface, you could almost always see any relevant info at all times. The new interface is constantly rolling it, popping over it, and covering it with menus. We don't need a bunch of fancy graphics taking up half the screen, I could play this game just fine if it ran in excel.

The achievement pop-ups are very intrusive. They completely block the donut shop, and when I've reset and am buying things in bulk, it's impossible to know where I stand in terms of price/amount of donut shops.

Just wanted to say I actually really like the new look. I have a couple of suggestions but they really just cosmetic. Firstly the words spinning saying that it's juicing, filming, playing, etc... really adds nothing to the game and is just sort of distracting. Same with the buy button. Maybe leave the price there and only roll it over to the buy graphic when someone hovers over the button? Could you possible resize or move the achievements so that it doesn't cover up the doughnut buy button and price? It could just pop up in a flat rectangle graphic below the box. And lastly could you please include support for scroll wheel on the menu's. It'll be a good interface for using on a phone, but click and drag is not very intuitive on a desktop. Thanks for the update though now I have more reason to play again!

Oy, dunno what the dev's of this great game were thinking. All cheers to them for fase 1, I played it, completed it. But like usually with remodels this one turned the game into an ordinary boring idle game with childish drawing and a poor interface. If you release a 2.0 version with no option to buy upgrades or assets to the public then you know its time to toss in the towel and call ''Game Over''

Oh no. Oh no no no. NOT THAT. You just put a mobile ergonomy on a browser game. Why? Please, at least pretend you care about the beta we've all been playing for a while now.

The issues with the new UI:
* Rolling text is annoying, and confusing
* Not having separate 1/10/100 buttons is annoying
* Achievement popups covering the donuts is annoying
* Menus STILL not using the mouse wheel and now using a touch oriented scrolling is annoying
* Menus being 30% header and 0% how much money you have is mind boggling
* Making menu options 3x as tall is not an improvement
* To top it off, at least in my opinion, the new theme is kind of ugly
Given the option to switch to the old UI, I would do it in a heartbeat. Also, I'm not sure I like not being able to see what achievements do in advance. Part of the fun was trying to get to that 3x achievement or whatever.

When achievements pop up, it blocks how many donut stands you have yo if you're adding more stalls rapidly, you have no idea how many you have.

I wish I could complain about the new interface with everyone else, but I can't even see anything besides the background and left-side menu buttons. Can't very well "keep on biggering" if there's nothing for me to bigger.

The buttons are really stiff, it's kind of strange to say that but it's not seeming to work properly. Overall I really don't like how it looks. It looks much clunkier, the last design was sleek and I never had trouble with it. I thought the update would be focused more on game improvements but I still haven't explored much yet.

only just found this game today, so i never used the old UI, but i like this one... well laid out, easy to use, the lack of scrollbars is mildly annoying though... but other than that i can't see what all the hate is for...

The new layout isn't awful, but the popup achievement notification is in a bad spot. It's a pain to be dumping money into the doughnut spot only to have to click away the notification every time. And the scrolling words/money tabs are more of a burden than a novelty. Plus their layout now makes it a bit confusing as what you need to spend vs how much it makes.

Fascinating. I am looking at a cutesy background screen with nothing but how much cash I have on hand. Nothing to buy (unless I have kreds). Nothing to do (unless I want to switch backgrounds). Are you sure this is the version that you want to release to the public?

Sigh is it broken? I have 1 quattuordecillion AI on reset, however there is no button to buy, no icons for shops/managers/achievements??? Not earning any money at the moment, investors are getting mad.

It's so annoying to have the word "Buy" spinning around and taking the place of the price. Just do it once and then stop. We know how to but by now.
