The offline bug was almost definitely intentional. Everyone who voted down the guy who said that are in denial.. The market surge was clearly too big of a help, easily got me past the 2200-2300 grind despite not working while offline. It probably wasn't meant to help to the extent it did so the creators made offline not work to stall progress.

Doesn't anyone else here think that the offline bug was intentional during the surge. If there was no bug, this game would've been easier than baking a cake; imagine the amount of AI you'd have.

It seems to me that the amount of my angel investors didn't go up, while I was offline, while my money did. But I don't have any proof, it's just that the figure seems too small... :-/

This market surge was great for me. I went from 40 quattuordecillion angels to 6.205 Novemdecillion angels. Every reset I can afford all cash, angel, and manager purchases. Newspapers at 2600, the rest 2700+.
Interesting to note, with Newspapers at 2600, shrimp boats give the highest income when everything is sitting at needing tredragintillion and quattuordragintillion amounts to purchase 100x upgrades.

The "Make It Storm" upgrade still disappears everytime I go offline. Have to spend 500 octotrigintillion every single time I come back on. Please fix this.

I can;t leave my laptop on at home all day.

I logged back on after a hard day's idling and my 500+ sexdecillion angels ready for acquiring became 4.873 sexdecillion. I thought it might have been a glitch since I currently had over 1 septendecillion angels but when I resold it didn't go up at all. Where did my angels go?

So yeah, game did a random hard reset on me when I refreshed. I had a back-up file saved to my desktop, even though it was a few days old, but when I loaded that, the game now refuses to load at all. WTH?

Would it be possible to be a "current AIs" meter visible when buying angel upgrades? That'd be SO helpful rather than having to keep exiting out of the window and going back to the "investors" tab every time.

apparently I either need to delete my save somehow, or this game just doesn't work anymore. It has crashed 7 times in a row in less than five seconds of the game loading up.

Well, surge is gone, and we lost most of it due to no offline progress. Still, it doesn't seem to be working, my Black Tuesday plaque is gone, and I need about 22 hours just to get my cars (2300) to 2400 so that I can get 2400 of everything. This is gonna take a long time, especially without offline progress.

I'm almost at 2600 newspaper, I can buy all upgrades within 20 minutes after reset, 2700 is years away. Once again hit the wall.

It took me months of wondering why this game's progress was so crappy after the big updates and waiting for something new to happen for me to realize that the reason my progress was so slow was because I didn't see the angel upgrades.. I literally just noticed today. Well'p, more fun for me that everybody else already grinded through I guess..

Apart from the offline problem, definitely much better than it has been for weeks. Finally broke the 2300 and 2400 barriers!

Since I can only play for 10 min a day, I gained 23x LESS during the majority of the 15x MORE upgrade due to the offline play bug.
I had disabled adblocking for this game to help you guys out but since you obviously don't care enough to playtest with real users or futureproof your code, I will resume blocking ads.
The pre-October version should have stayed up, with the new UI released as "AdCap v 2." That way folks who didn't want to risk losing everything due to your choice to use Unity Beta wouldn't get screwed over repeatedly by nonsense like this.

Now it was bad.....
I made my reset counting with market surge. Due to the bug i received no progress, i could not buy more upgrades what means that i was receiving less money per sec than before resenting.
Now i'm without progress money, without market surge and stuck, i cant buy a simple car wash upgrade (600->601) for 2 days and it will take time to be able to do so, and without enough angels to think about reset. ...
