i figured i'd share the strategy i used that got me the hard badge, just in case it might help someone
i pay attention to the top right, while trying to keep the top left a horizontal line (a lot easier than trying to look at the ball) and the rest comes naturally

This is odd. Whenever I try to play the game, I start off holding down the left arrow key cause it tilts to the right. But within 2 seconds it tilts all the way to the right and the ball falls off and I lose. This shouldn't happen since I'm holding down the left arrow key, right?

Once the spacebar triangle is in play (for those of us that don't have any friends... har har) don't bother with that screen at all until a bar comes along the bottom, which happens surprisingly infrequently.

yeah, on first try!! when the 4th minigames appear things start to get a little too complicated. I managed to resist until 107 point, but that's as far as i can get.
