While the game is well put together, I must admit I am going insane from NOT swinging at the edge of the screen "because my focus was not inside the game field." I continue to walk towards the boulder I'm chasing to finish off, but heaven forbid I swing. /facepalm

i think any blob that dies by the orange acid should also count as your kill. wasd controls would be nice as an optional.. option.

Enough. I'm tired of seeing the sword slice through an enemy, having the "after image" completely cover them, and yet... something that dies in one hit bumps or kills me.
That's just silly.

Uhm.. this game looks fun in theory but it's actually been incredibly frustrating for me. Whether there's something I'm missing or it's just not too good with trackpads, I can't seem to kill more than a hundred or so before getting hit and having to restart. I'm pretty sure it's not just me being crap; I placed pretty highly in the leaderboard for Front Runner last night. Anyone got any suggestions? It's mostly the timing of swinging that sword that gets me; I get surrounded and the gap between swings always leaves me vulnerable..

The enemy variety is great (The enemies are also very innovative. I've never seen, in any other game, an enemy that can spit out its own babies that stick to you and slow you down, then grow up after you shake then off... and I've played a lot of games.) and the difficulty ramp is perfectly balanced... controls are easy and intuitive, graphics.. well, graphics could use a little work. (But hey, graphics don't make a game, now do they?) Oh, and this game is funny. The humor in the award descriptions is awesome! Now, for ideas for any kind of sequel you make (which you SHOULD!!!): RPG elements, or at least different weapons.... Sick of the pseudo-Buster Sword, anyone? How about a hammer? Or a ranged weapon? Maybe a story mode too, because judging by some of the stuff I've read in-game, this seems to take place in a world where some weird virulent life-form is infesting the planet....

To this day I still posit that Amorphous+ is one of the best games on the site. Definitely needs to be on the front page again.

Very interesting game, I just wish it had a pause button. A few times I had to get the phone and died because couldn't pause.
So what your favorite reward? I like the ablative armor the best

I bet this games gonna get the most trade ins. Being kongregates badge of the day on april fools day. Only this game deserves this honour.

This is literally the game that got me onto Kongregate. And I stayed loyal to this game until I got the Impossible Badge...Oh the hours of work I've wasted on your amazing website.

@pliterallyh, it actually saves, depends on how time it's that you don't play it. when I started it, about 5 weeks, and finished it in 1 week, now it's from I left it ;)
is an awesome game, 5/5 and good playing ;)

The only issue I have with this game is that you have to beat this all in one sitting because IT WON'T SAVE. Either do that, or leave this game open until you're ready to come back and finish it...

Fun and addicting game. Extra points for some of the more imaginative and funny awards. What's with the elevator music, though? I'd expect something more menacing from a game of this theme.

wow i got something that shud be an achievement : get killed 3 times (in one game) heres how i actually did it. when i got hit by a goople, a biter then bit me, which killed a meltie, and once the biter bit me, a oozle sucked me in and melted in the acid.... awesome!

Where the hell are the other enemies at? No matter how many levels I play, I keep seeing the same 6 blobs that are already in my beastiary.

This game is perfect as it is but, it just looks like it would be perfictly compatible with multi-play it just really looks like it would be perfect and a story mode would also be nice an rpg system and a some diffrent weapons would be definitly awesome.

I would like more lives . . . Not an instant death upon touching, sneezing, or looking at something the wrong way >.>

I recently earned the better sword by beating the Razor Queen without any help from gadgets... direct help, anyway (it is a very good thing that using the teleporter to get out of certain doom does not count against that). Basically, when combined with the hazard suit, it takes all strategy away from the game. This makes it very easy. Then, just when things are going good (you know, less than a hundred glooples left in a huge nest) one of those flame-blowie-uppie-AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! things entered the screen and then the next remarkable thing happens about two seconds later when I yelled "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" (hence the name) and the entire reality of the situation that I had brought upon myself came crashing down on me: "I HAVE RUINED MY SKILLS!" Based on a true story.
