Hi people having trouble clearing a nest? Just simply click single nest then put your mouse over huge nest and right click then press forward and put your mouse on the huge nest again (it will be on the tips screen) then click forward then right click and click forward again/ ty sgt vile

I did large nest on hard core mode with Razor queen blade, grenade and sprint, killing a razor queen, 2 horrors and a void eater. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can't get queens, its annoying, is it only huge nests where you can get them?? because then that would sort the problem :D

The basic movements I've found useful are little spinning stroke that moves your man ever so slightly out of the line of movement and thens spins you fully around to line up on the target, and a slightly larger circling motion that keeps you behind oozles and spines. Also, I find it useful to agressively attack the melties so as to control where and when they splat. If you try to ignore them, they may burst against a greenie and get you or may accidently whack them at an angle and splat yourself. So with a melty, it's attack-swing-stop!, probably followed with a quick assessment of the angle you need to stay out of the acid. The same is true to a lesser extent of stickies.

Regarding complaints that its too hard. 1) Don't worry about the weapons until you are good enough with the sword to beat the small nest without them. 2) Read the tips. 3) When you encounter a new creature, spend a few minutes in practice mode learning how to kill it efficiently. Make sure you are good in practice before you have to face it in the chaos of having 6 different types of blobs on the screen at the same time. 4) My average score improves by about 4 pts a game without weapons. If you then use the reactive armor and the hazard suit, you can about double your average.

5/5 heh, i'm pretty good at this game if i should sya it myself, i just keep on loosing my saved files... no worries, i think i've found the bug. I tried to do the small nest, but then a queen came along just as i had 18 left to kill, she attacked me, and died of my suit, and then a biter jumped me... not fun... hey, also, i haven't played since the horrors and those almagams came along, they're nice!
