banana: yes you can... there called grinders by the way... to kill them do one of these things:
make to grinders bump together
make a grinder go into meltie goo
after youve done that you have to hit them 5 times to kill them
THEY GET YOU 100 BOUNTY!

It's rather frustrating when you get bumped, and then you get pounced by a biter, or get melted. The game could use a little fine tuning, maybe just something a two or three hit life bar?

kill a gray by atttacking it when the lance is still extending (3 hits). kill a purple by attacking it when its about to make the black hole line thing

void eaters happen when greys combine with normal glooples, tip: when they shoot the laser is when you have to kill them, get close to them when their shooting and quickly slice them as you're turning and the gravity pulls you towards them

It's getting really annoying that the game will randomly and unconditionally kill you at some points... Like when you slash a Meltie and it explode straight toward you. Fix it.
