good bye. terribly upset that you are moving away from the platform where your fans and money are.. seems shortsighted and that it will cost you a great deal in the long run. down rated the game and unfavorited... won't be taking your "bonus thankyou gifts" to numb my brain either. If you think the fans won't vote with your feet i'm afraid that you also havn't paid too much attention.. IG? No more in my life, that's for sure.

No ruben, the game is closing entirely on kong. You can't make purchases until then so you don't waste money for 6 weeks of gaming. So people are still going to complain. I do wish you were right, trust me, I'd love if you were right, but that's not the case here.

when the game is closed you will still be able to play but you wont be able to make purchases with kreds.thumbs up so every one can stop complaining

Dear insomniac, I read a comment how this game is closing and just recently read a post about its closing, the comment I read said that you guys kept this game open even when you were losing money, so id just want to thank insomniac games, thanks so much keep developing great games like this one because this game is one of my favorites im real sorry this game s closing but you guys are great, thanks for everything.

LordMace, they took out the stamina / energy bars a long time ago. =) It's more of a pay for convenience than pay to win even before this last patch

Although I am not a big fan of these stamina based games where you must take breaks this is one of the better ones I have seen. You have to take few breaks, besides for longer events and you get plenty of the super currency just by playing the game. Although it is P2W you get plenty of currency, probably the most I have seen from any game I have played. The pokemon style is also well done. Not my style of game but I can see the hard work and planning that was put into it. 4/5

Look, I'm sad too. I really wish they could keep this game open but how?? Here's the backstory. This game wasn't making any profits for them, in fact they were losing money. Regardless, they kept it open for as long as they could because they loved the community. IG isn't a conjurer of cheap tricks... they are a full fledged company that needs to pay their employees. But for Months, they kept the game open because of the community's passion. They kept updating it, they kept maintaining it, they kept finding hackers, they lowered prices, they took out the energy bars, they expanded and tried to do what the community wanted ALL THE WHILE NOT MAKING ANY PROFIT (in fact LOSING money)... and still after all this, they get flamed like crazy. I know some of the folks in Insomniac and I could whole heartedly say, they didn't keep the game open for the money... How could they if they kept losing money from it?

I agree with Delagado. You can still get some income for just keeping the server open. Plenty of people still play this and will have unfinished personal goals when the game gets closed. Just take a firm stand on not doing any more updates, making the current kong version the 'complete' one available for computer users.
Yes the lack of updates will still frustrate some people, but you'll maintain a larger player base by running it, along with getting publicity here. Advertise that a more expansive version is available elsewhere, so people have the choice.
