To get the wires: Pick up the gift, use it, wear the goggles, and ask the floating orb to "find item", then pick up the wires (if you think the hacking tool is in the way, you need to click further to the right. It will say "wires" when the mouse is positioned correctly)
To get the red cube: Go all the way to the left on the first screen.

to get the wires you open the present,put on the goggles,turn on the goggles,then tell the eye to look for wires and it will find them

to get the wires you have to get the goggles on you and then click on them when ther on you and then ther is gonna be a thing called eye and then talk to it and click on find a item

I heard people had trouble with the wires, so i will help you out. if you want to try and figure it out yourself, do not read the rest of this comment. To find the wires you need to open the gift and put on the goggles that you get. Then click on the box that comes up in th top left corner with a picture of the goggles in it. it is pretty self-explanatory from then on

To find the wires:
After you find the neon lights, open the gift bob gave you, then put on the goggles, then activate them with the button in the corner. Then ask the new eye to find the wires.

Ok, one vital step everyone so far has left out. 1) open present. 2) wear goggles. 3) click the icon of the goggles up at the top left of the screen. This makes the "eye thing" come. I guess you were just supposed to stumble upon it by accident.

And some of the answers that ARE in the comments aren't exactly helping. One guy says "wear the goggles and get the eye thing to help you". Great, I got the goggles part, but what "eye thing" are you talking about??? Someone else said they're behind the hacking device. Ok how do you get the hacking device out of the way??? You know a game sucks hard when the second or third step causes this much trouble.

Game sucks elephant ass. I've played it for only 5 minutes and I'm stuck. Can anyone guess? Thats right. I CANT FIND THE F*KING WIRES. __ So I start flipping through the pages of comments, only to discover that no one else can find them either. Seriously, 1/4 of the people here honestly cant find the wires... hell at least I'm not alone!
