Level 14 is impossible to get Excellent on unless you get really lucky. Even with the max mana pool, max damage meteor and the lowest cost for meteor, you can only do 2000 damage spamming that spell while the Ninja boss has 2400 HP. You need to get fully upgraded Crypt towers with Ice Mastery and Mind Control talents maxed, then either A. Hope he gets frozen and can't turn invisible, or B. Hope he gets hit with Fear and runs in circles until his invisibility wears off.

I think Ninjas are great. Sure, they're a pain in the neck, but the rest of the game is so easy, without them the game would be too easy... the only thing I don't like is Ninja Champions (like everyone else). Thing is, you took an extremely high HP enemy, gave him invincibility, and made him fast. If that isn't annoying, I don't know what is. Even spamming meteors ([Shift] for those who don't know) can be hard. Fully upgraded, you've got a maximum of 2000 damage. And slowing or stopping the Ninja is pure luck (25%, yeah, right). So I think there should be an Anti-Ninja tower or skill or upgrade, like anti-air towers in some TDs. Otherwise, you'll be trying the same level over and over, just because of one enemy.

There's this bug where enemies will run pass my towers and my towers wont attack them =\. It's really annoying and making it almost impossible to get a brilliant rating on some maps.

Very thorough and fun game. One complaint though. Assassins with the 50% chance of dodging attacks should NOT be able to dodge magic like the Meteor Shower. Using up 500 mana trying to hit an assassin only for him to dodge each time is unbelievably frustrating. Other than that good game.

I'll keep commentig on this: Smoke Bomb bosses are invisbl for too long, making it a matter of LUCK to stop them from touching a gem. This need to be change. The "Brilliant" acheievment should not be based on if you're lucky enough to Freeza a smoke bomb boss in the 1 hit you get before he goes invisible fr 5-7 seconds and runs (becuase they are super fast) to get you gem. Please fix this.
At the least, when a smoke bomb in in the poison smoke they should be visible!

rate this comment as good.

wow.... this rogue runs sideways into the trees then it stays there with a gem never leaving so i cant finish the lvl o_O how nice...

nijas are tough at the begining but once you it them soon they get back to normal in about 2/3 of the map so you can kill htem easily ^^ loved the game simple and great . not laggy and not too hard ...

Well, if your crypts are upgraded and skilled, you've got, like, 40% fear on them. Sadly, you can't build a Hellfire temple by his entrance point. At any rate, while I guess it is strictly a matter of luck, it hopefully shouldn't take too many tries.

Orc is the money maker class. Cutdown upgraded to 50 mana and each cut down gives 100 coins. Great combination with ghost crypt.

“v.1.05” I haven't tried to repeat the invisible gem bug since I first reported it, but I suspect it was due to the AI's pathfinding routine marking the teleported gem. If true, this means the bug would only occur when the gem teleports away AFTER the AI has targeted the gem, and it simply doesn't update that tracking. The fix, if true, would be to call the update function of all enemies on screen after the gem teleports.
Cheers.

So, Ninja Champion on the last wave of level 14 has 2500 HP. A full stock of chain-cast meteors with max upgrades can only deal 2000 damage. Any tips for dealing 500 damage to him in one hit, or is it just a matter of playing over and over until a lucky Freeze from a crypt?

only enemies worth loooking at were ninjas n assasins, basically the ones you couldnt hit as much... i hate ninjas... especially bosses... damn them

for all of you complaining that you cant spam meteors fast enough, just hold shift to cast multiple time or to build multiple temples....

Just not feeling the same love as so many others for this. Yes, it's good, but the entire game's difficulty depends on a single enemy, the ninja. Easy easy easy easy easy ninja easy easy easy easy ninja boss. That's all you need to think about and plan for, which kind of kills the fun for me a bit. But I do like the upgrade system, skills, graphics and restrictions on tower placement. So an overall 4/5.

Spell Hot Keys please! I'd really like to kill ninja bosses already. I don't have superhuman reflexes and they run so fast its impossible for me to kill them without a hot key for fireball.

I had trouble beating the ninja bosses on the later levels until I realized that if you hold in your shift key, you can spam meteors a lot faster.

great game 5/5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this game is amazing.
It's soo simple yet so enjoyable.
I spent days playing this game constantly when it came out a week ago.
As mentioned, spell hotkeys would a very nice addition as well as some new untis and towers for the "To-come" sequels.
Great game overall, 5/5
Keep'em comming!

You know, the 3 stats on the score page are redundant... each mob that escapes = one incomplete wave = one lost gem. hrm.

Very well thought out and executed TD game. The tune-able skill trees bring another dimension of strategy to the game. The graphics are crisp and sharp, but not lag inducing. I really enjoyed this game. 5/5.

5/5 For some reason. Super simple but more entertaining than any other TD game.. Does need some things like reset skills and such.

upgrade you meteor to do more damage and cost less in the demon tree, its not too far in, then upgrade maximum mana in undead. when a ninja boss is coming just save up to 460 mana and hit him 4 times with a meteor. Also have a few towers near the cave aswell..just in case
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Absolutely needs hotkeys. On level 11 you just about cannot kill the final boss before he grabs a gem without hotkeys. I've played it maybe four or five times and had absolutely no troubles clearing every wave long before they reached my base, but the final ninja boss moves so fast that I cannot click the meteor button fast enough.

Ninja Champion takedown: Max your mana reserve, reduce meteor cost to lowest, increase it's damage to max. Hold shift & fire away!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i dont like it, how it is only about luck when the last boss is a ninja; you have to freeze him and then fear him... and i agree with the others that said something about upgrade and sell.. i sold some good towers when i tried to push upgrade =(
well anyways i love this game so 5/5 =)

Problem: I had all my gems in my base on level 14, only one gem was touched once but it was returned long before the end. Should have gotten Brilliant but I only got Excellent and was told to "not let any of the enemies touch my gems". Well correct me if I'm wrong but isn't half the point of the Return Portal so you can get Brilliant when those armies of ninjas takes a whole step with one of your gems? This is a bit upsetting, considering I spent hours working on this one level...
