To anyone else having trouble killing the level 14 boss ninja:
The only reliable strategy I can think of (non luck based) is this: Build Crypts or Temples on the high grounds at both entrances. Upgrade these later and make sure they do 100 damage.
Before you get to wave 50, make sure you have 500 mana and enough gold for 5 temples.
When you see wave 50 coming, delete all other towers that might hit the ninja, you need the 100 damage. If any other tower hits him and does less than 100 damage, you can’t kill him with meteors.
After the tower hits him, cast 5 meteors, then quickly build 5 temples using shift. The 20 mana bonus from each temple will let you cast 1 more meteor to finish him off.

i found the game boring, its just repetitive and not too exciting to start upgrading towers then start ALL OVER AGAIN on building/upgrading. 2/5

I can't see any other comments mentioning this, but THIS GAME NEEDS A RESPEC BUTTON. It's not fun having to start from scratch when trying different builds. Fun game, but the lack of respec takes it down a few points for me. Games like this should always have one.

Here are some tips for the hard badge: Ninjas can only stay stealthed for a average amount of time and you can utilize this by having attacking towers at the spawn point (preferably temples because of their speed hits). Once you have towers at the spawn point place strong towers near your gems, the ninja stealth will wear off near your gems and they will be obilitorated due to low health. It is preferable that you build and upgrade your towers near the gems first for they wont get many kills later because of the spawn point towers and use Meteors obviously. + if this helped.

Temples' aura can hit cloaked ninjas, can they not? Also perhaps a very wide arsenal of crypts at the very end of a level could be a strategy to take them out when their cloak wears off. Rather than ninjas though, I dislike the other guys who dodge attacks; meteors often miss them and I find continuously that they have been more difficult to overcome. Eventually every level becomes easy once you've leveled up high enough though.

I find Hydra easiest to farm as this is the highest level where there is only one way the enemies can get the jewels and therefore Meteor is more effective that way. Rate this up if you think it helped you to farm.

First played the game way back when it first came on here, on GF's account (got the "saucy wenches love gems" badge that was around in the first week. Now re-playing cos it's such a good game and seeing how low leveled i can brilliant all lvls on (char lvl 21 and all bar lvl 14 brilliant, i will be done by char lvl 22).
The major bugbear for most are the elite ninja's. So get the wood cutting skills and max out meteor and mana. Yes, hold shift as you cast meteor and you can spam it as fasat as you can left clikc. 5 metroers at 400dmg each is enough to kill any ninja except the one on lvl 14 (he has more than 2K hp). Some on here recommend using crypts for the fear and freeze chance (as the ninja only takes 1 hit before stealth, you look at a small chance of success, but it is doable as youtube vids show. The idea i recommend is temples and catapults.

Look at how lvl 14 is laid out, a high ground on each side, perfect for two "burning" temples (max out skill gives a guaranteed "daze" to slow the target). Grass on the side enough for 2 dens each side, upgrade fully to the catapults for the aoe, and the elite nija gets slowed ernough for the catapults to hit, then you can meteor spam FWT. make sure your talents have good +exp% gain, like the first skill in temples, and the second form last in both temples and dens.
I've seen much better success this way, than using the crypts for the fear and freeze.

I enjoyed this game, yet I feel it is too much of a copy of GemCraft, and that it lacks a bit more reality, I believe what would change that would be a zoom option too see the units charging to their doom from the side and close up, instead of a far-over eagle eye view.
Still I enjoyed this. 4/5 Stars + Favourited

I've got all brillant but the 14th level, I can't kill the last ninja boss with the five meteors... any tip or strategy?

I found it disappointing that I beat the game so fast, though it's fun with the challenging levels at first, eventually you level up enough that you win without needing a very good strategy. Still a great game though, enough so that I beat it once, lost my saved data, and beat it again; a couple levels I cba to get brilliant on though, because I'm not one who cares so much for that unless there's some kind of special merit for it :P

Assassins and ninjas need to be smacked with the nerf-stick. The ninja champions (like in the "Hydra" level) are just obscene.
give us effective counters to the assassin's %50 miss ability (which turns a game that is supposed to be about strategy into pure dumb luck at times) and slow down the ninja champions (SERIOUSLY) or give us some kind of "reveal" ability.

@Oriksagtaria, that's because it was an invisible unit. You'd be better off Meteoring those, as if your units can't hit it, then Frenzy is useless.

Lol ! champion ninja is imba, with 5 sec invi I can'nt kill him cuase he is too fast, plz reduce speed of ninja orsome magic can see invisible unit .Add more hotkey, Anyone tell me how to kill a champion ninja plz :]

2 Crypts fire all 6 total charges at asassin. "miss" I fire Meteor. "miss". Again. "miss". My two dens fire "miss" I fire another meteor as it enters the cave. "miss".
there goes my brilliant :(
