I agree with LennyT. Wave 14 especially is luck dependent. A full complement of maxed out meteors didn't get it done on three tries.

Pro Tip: For Brilliant on level 14, make the two towers that are on high ground near the entrances the red tower with the area effect damage maxed out. The initial damage the final boss takes from this will make it possible to kill him with 5 meteors. I also filled in the area immediately around the entrances with the appropriate color towers for each area and upgraded them as much as possible, the goal being to hit with as much damage as possible on the first attack. 5/5

yup 5/5 from me too. i'm a big TD fan . and this piece of work is absolutely great. only thing is its too short =) we want a sequel! and since we are able to continue level up maybe should be able to spend our skill points on a ( lets say ) mastery skill for each skill tree. i mean firerate / range / damage

Wow. 4.6?? Holy crap. This game is alright, but the TD genre is flooded and, while this game is well executed, it brings nothing new to the table whatsoever. 2/5.

for wave 14 you have to get lucky with the blue towers. either freeze, or steal the ability, or fear, any of those works, but it took me 5 trys to get lucky and take him out. Just gotta keep at it, A great game though, definitly 5/5.

is it possible to finish level 14 with "brilliant"? i spammed meteor with shift till i'm out of mana . but the last boss still lived and touched one of my gems.
im level 42 all skills maxed. 14/15 brilliant. only level 14 left . i tried coupkle of times but on every try the last boss managed to touch gems.

The game really needs spell hot keys. The I've lost a number of brilliants to cloaked units because I can't fireball them fast enough. It's VERY frustrating when it seems like a very easy fix. Past that it's really good.

Level 14 sucks so bad. Just have to luck out and freeze the final boss. All the others are reasonably easy to achieve(level 15's 40'th wave ninja boss is killed with 5 meteors), but the level 14 50'th wave is completely luck dependant. Which sucks, because you have to kill 49 trivial waves to have a go at it.

Is it possible to get all Brilliants without replaying any levels? I am stuck on level 6. You have 12 skill points without replaying previous levels. I can do it all except the invisible boss. I don't think that is enough skill points to get the necessary meteors. Any tips?

lvl6 brilliant impossible? the freaking ninja boss stays invisible till he reaches the gems, so that means i have to grind enough to be able to throw 5 meteors in his face? Thats kinda gay

The sell button needs a confirmation, i agree for a pause button, and can't think of any other negative things about this game atm. Most games like this make me want to replay the 1st level until I get it perfect ("brilliant" in this case) then 2nd lvl and so on... This game is different, it makes me want to play any level I want even if I have "brilliant" on it. The game is just too awesome for me to spend time worrying what level to play, I just want to play the game! At first i thought "another gem TD..." then "another TD with earth, fire and water" when I played the first level and got an excellent medal and it told me I could get it better I started to realise I'd misjudged it. After the 2nd lvl and I got skill points for something I hadn't noticed, I'd already 5***** and added to favorites, Looking foreward to a sequel!

Well this is a great game but ive had a couple of bugs.
1. I killed a guy with my last gem and it just disappeared - the waves continued but couldnt get the gem so easy win on that level.
2. I saw a hp bar fly off the side of my screen over land and now i am sitting here 5 mins later and i still havnt finished the level - 2 gems left no more waves.
Other than these bugs this is a great game

@Massu: For lvl 14 I hit the ninja boss with the AoE Temple first. At max upgrades it has a slow effect. The slow is just enough to make the ninja boss appear about a quarter of a second before he grabs a gem, so make sure you have a lot of upgraded orc dens to hit him and do the last 300ish damage before he can grab a gem. Alternately, I bet it is possible with a fear/freeze crypt since if either fear or freeze triggers it should give you enough time to kill him.

The only place I have a problem is last boss lvl 14. Fully upgraded mana and meteor gives you 5 strikes at 400 damage. This means 2000 damage. The final boss has 2500 HP. This means the first hit has to do 500+ damage. Even a fully upgraded critting orc tower on a high ground does not do that. I also thought that maybe the fully upgraded chilling crypt with 25% freeze + 25% disarm will disable him but no luck with that either. So what exactly am I doing wrong.

Well, in my honest opinion, this game was amazing! It featured very nice things, like the upgrade system, the depth in tower upgrading and the different enemies. Only problem is the randomness of the assasins, but with the right tactic it works too :)
That's a keyword in this game: tactics! You need to think well about what needs to be upgraded and think of the coming boss waves... or of course how to defeat a fearsome ninjaboss.
On the otherhand, some skills may be too strong: cut out down to 50 mana and than 100 gold per cut is a LOT! And if you also get the mana upgrades + fire tower mana thingy, it goes easier. I've earned hard badge nr 2545 and I'm very proud about it! Can't wait for the sequel!!!

At first I was cursing the game for not having hotkeys, as it was difficult to cast meteors quickly enough to kill champion ninjas. But I just realised you can hold shift to quickly cast multiple meteors which makes a HUGE difference in getting the hard badge. Once fully skilled up you can cast 5 meteors in a row which kills a ninja outright. Please rate up this comment to keep this info visible.

On some levels you need to get the "right" towers to shoot first at the ninja bosses - namely freeze/fear towers. Be sure to have one by the entry and then sell any other possible "first shooters" so that tower gets the first shot off.

Thats cute, the problem is: In lvl 14 the last enemy is a ninja boss that can't even be killed with 4 full skilled meteors. You need godlike luck that the first shot of your fear tower will fear him long enough, even then it probably won't last long enough that you can kill him before he reaches your gems, its completely dependant on luck.
Beside that, its a very good game.
Have all levels on brilliant, except lvl 14. And i don't want to try at anymore.

Thats a great game!
Liked the different ground usage,the skills and the upgrades.
Any way I think you should add more levels, or add an option that will allow us to fight untill we lose all the gems(endless level).
That would be great!

I won the game and got all the bagdes :D
it's just about focusing at the right combinations and getting a small "elite" of high-lvl towers to take care of them :D
and of cause then just chop all wood to get enough money the buy upgrades :D
Best tower defence game, I've ever seen :D

Awesome game! 5/5 The only thing I'd like would be spell hotkeys. I'm going for the hard badge and the only way to really kill the ninja bosses before they get my gems is to spam meteor on them. Seeing as how none of the towers have a way of making them show up ^^.

You seriously need spells hotkeys! This along with music/sfx separate mute buttons, and perhaps a few other hotkeys (build tower, upgrade selected tower) Would definitelyput my rating of this game up from a 4 to a 5!

great game, but assasins and ninja are too overpowered. get a boss of them and you will have real trouble killing them. anyway, 5/5.
