Dear everyone, for the 14th level ninja boss, just put the highest level Temples on each hill near the start. The Daze thing slows them down so well that my temple got two hits off, 600 damage, and then my meteors killed it. Hooray!

Is it just me or does the ninja boss on lvl 14 have too much hp to kill even with 5 fully upgraded meteor blasts? I suppose it would be possible to build a bunch of towers really fast to get that extra mana to bomb it 1 or 2 more times, but unfortunately, even without the fast forward thing, it's too fast for me to even attempt that. This game needs a slow down button. Other than that, great game. Very entertaining for a tower defense game. 4/5

Really love this game, extremely enjoyable. My one criticism would be that once you beat the game there isn't a whole lot of replay value aside from getting brilliants. Once you have the skill tree upgraded well, the game simply isn't very challenging. As other people have said, an endless mode or something similar would be very cool! Great job.

skill-less TD with minimal employable strategy outside of grinding. needs hotkeys, and the assassins need to be nerfed from 50% to something more manageable like 30%. I've been 33 waves in without a touch only to lose brilliant to one assassin after 4 meteors and all my towers. 3/5 for originality.

i accidentally reset my cookies.....allll data was lost...and i was so close to getting all brilliant X(...but this is one of a very very small number of games that i'm replaying to get back to my old status...great f**|{ing game!

I just have a few complaints regarding this game... 1. The ninja's smoke bomb lasts too long. On most levels it carries them from their spawn to the gem nest which means they are nearly impossible to clear at some parts. 2. The assassain's "50%" dodge rate is unfair if one uses the meteors. I have had times where I fire it at a group of 3 or 4, two times and not get a single hit. While the coin flip in theory is fair, in application it can be weighted poorly, either make it every other is a miss or lower the percent of a dodge. 3. The crypts need a return to sender function. If a ninja gets all three charges fired at it, I find only the first one hits most of the time. This means 2 charges are completely wasted and they take too long to recharge for that not to be an issue. 4. A target designation would be much appreciated.

Really awesome game. I love the towers and there abilities. A suggestion though. If your going to make enemies that can become invis. Make a tower that can sense them. I always lose at least one gem to the ninja's cause they grab it and pull it out then some other wave a guy moves it more and more. But still great game. 5/5

The game is not loading for me. It just says loading kongregate api. No play button. I have refreshed the page a hundred times, cleaned my windows and used different browsers and still nothing. I was able to play it the other day. I just want the card, and there is only two more days left. Any ideas?

There is one problem that I have noticed with crypts... when you get the freeze ability on your crypts, your towers start targeting the frozen targets over the ones that are the farthest ahead. -1 for that.

assasins have way to high of dosge rite now... it says ever hit but my nothing was hitting them all had full hp when they left with my gems and my metor didnt eve hit

for me CRYPTS worked best as main fire power(DENS for 13th map). as mentioned somewhere, use TEMPLE if possible or DEN to trigger vanish. only useful in later half of round, coz crypts often one-shot ninjas.
assassins are worst part, counterable with frenzy, but its luck... cant be helped :)
dosnt need every skill possible for hard badge, but expect to get most of it by the time you get it :D
also while you cant beat boss ninjas without meteors (if you are after badge), i like to use poison cloud and scorching aura better :) also those two cant be dodged by assassins coz its not missile ;)

I have to agree with shrek_david, Ninja's I'm alright with, while they can be annoying, you can atleast somewhat prepare for them, but assassins... nothing feels worse than wasting 300 mana on meteors and fail to kill a single basic unit, which then steals your gem and ruins your brilliant rating :/

anynone noticed how the art in the main screen remember the ones from SNES games, when the game was 2d but the cover was sometimes a very nice 3d artwork?!

great game 5/5 but the thing was that the ninja bosses were very hard to get rid of especially on level 14 i would love this game even more if there was a tower which can only target ninjas when they have used there bombs but other wise an amazing game :)

Definitely one of the best if not THE best tower defence game I’ve ever played. The only thing that really makes me irritated about this game is the assassins. It takes WAY too much effort to even hit them. It would be better if you made it 30% of missing instead of 50% because it's a little ridiculous when you shot at it with 3 meteors and only 1 of them hit. Asides from that 5/5 and faved. Nice Work!

Should disable leveling at level 41. When you get to 42, you still get skill points, but nothing left to spend them on.

Samurai's Should Not be Able to Dodge Fire Tower's For one thing the Fire isn't a Missile/Projectile it is a Constant beam of fiery doom and you Should Not no matter how ninja you are be able to dodge that.
Still Its a 5/5 Game. ;P

Nice twist on tower defense. Feels like RPG meets TD. I'm not a fan of upgrading only towers that get action, but it adds another strategic element. 5/5

The game is a lot of fun, until the end. I want to throw my computer across the room watching 1 50% dodge mob run right past a line of 5 towers, not taking any hits, and getting a gem, ruining the badge attempt 15 minutes in.

For the Boss on level 14. Pray to God that you hit 100 damage in your first hit, and then you can kill him. Here's how. 6 Meteor Strikes. Six? How the @#$% do you get Six? Temples. The adoration skill grants 20 Mana per temple. Get to slow mode, Spam the first five strikes immediately. VERY quickly build 5 temples. Hit him again. (if you're really fast, just build 10 and hit him with six) This requires obscene amounts of money so I'd get Cut Out Mastery and Study and never keep more than 400 mana in your pool until the very end of the game. (as in use cut out to keep it just below 400 until about level 38. Use it when needed on meteors)

The problem is that invisible bosses. Their cloak last more than i takes them to reach gems, even if you hit them immediately after they enter the map. And that guy on 14th level can't be destroyed even if you fire all five meteors at once. Also disarm doesn't work. So... what now then?

Besides being the best defence game EVER! it still needs a little fix - 1.(hotkeys) you really need hot keys even if you have shift - 2.(bug) on level 13 i got a bug someone got stuck making it un able to end the game or launch next attack wave. - 3.(more levels) Needs more levels and a ulimited wave one. - 4.(creat your own) creat your own map. --- All these improvments would keep this game at the top of kongregate youd always win money and so forth EVERYTHING ELSE IS EPIC HOPE TO SEE NEW ONE SOON!!!

@barneyzedinosaur high speed mode make your towers shoot faster and the guys come faster so high speed is only to speed it up for u so no extra exp points should be given

My opinion about skills, hope it helps:
ORCS: Worst of all groups, invest only for +firerate
Gold vault - good. Height advantage - good.
Cut down study - crap. Markmanship - crap. Bounty Hunting - Awesome!. Warchief - crap. Poison - crap. Mining - good/awesome if not gonna try to get brilliant. Cut down mastery - excellent. Lich king and freeze - excellent. Soul Vault - excellent. Frenzy mastery - good.
UNDEAD:
Mana stock - middle. Mana pool - Awesome. Frenzy study - very good. Mind Control - Totally OVERPOWERED!. Mana extraction - good.
DEMON - training excellent, others also marvelous. Avoid only scorching treasure and return portal ;)

im starting in the demon section, got 3 brilliants and im lvl 8 its a good gam and the different enemies give it a better game play but on lvl 2 there should be a lvl 2 champ not a lvl 3

To deal with ninjas: Build temples! Their area of effect attack can kill them easily with 1 shot when upgraded enough. Just need them to deal 100dmg at very first NINJA WAVES, and 200dmg at later ninjas.
To deal with Ninja Champs: As was written before - fully upgraded meteor. At lvl 14 I put Temple at heights in both corners and Crypts at the 2 others. Also always sell your low towers to not make him smoke to early. before casting meteor let your high dmg tower hit him fist.
To deal with Assasin (dodgers): Use frenzy skill, 99% none of them will survive.
General tips: You can easily beat half of game using only crypts, just upgrade them to have 3 bullets, cheaper upgrades and fear, fear, fear! It rocks.
Few maps that will left, use Red ones, I didnt use their weakening upgrade, since it last only as long enemy is in range.
In my opinion Dens (green) sucks a lot.
Remember to always put tower on mana pools, you gonna die without it.

The Assasins simply grow annoying in the end. When they dodge the third meteor spell you throw their way, for the third game in a row, ruining your brilliant win, you start to tug at your hair.

It would be very nice if this game had a survival mode over 50++ waves I could only imagine like wave 100 having a grip of champion ninjas.
