finally got all brill ratings at level 36... my strategy is to just put a temple right at each entrance so ninjas cloak right at the beg so they uncloak farther away from my gems, giving me time to kill them. for the ninja champions i just spam crypts for the freeze + spam 5 meteors

Evil eye does not help, because he cloaks with the first shot, and the Dmg amplify is ONLY active, AS LONG, AS THE EYEs beam is hitting the Target... If he cloaks, the beam doesnt hit anymore, so no more dmg amplify
The burn of the eye DOES NOT radiate the target !!!

For ninjas in lvl 14 you have imho just two options :
Build at each side a Temple (you should have skilled blaze) and upgrade the Temple on high spots to Burning Temples... so they fore Sure hit the Assasine, and slow him down 4 secs. Also Builde 1-3 Ballistas around there, cause they have a target system, they will fire a few seconds after aiming and the bolts explode on the slowed down stealthed guy. After this 5x Metero an he should be done.
The other way is the same but with 3-4 Cryps or Ghost tower upgraded max. You are addicted to the LUCK :D Frenzy wont help, cause he will cloak and decloak when he already touched your gems :D
If your lucky, the tempel burns him, and he will perish through burn and 5x meteor.. on the other hand if your lucky 4x 25% chance of freeze/ability reset ... is also a good match :D

Ninja Champions are just ridiculous. They can get to my gems before their immunity runs out making it impossible for me to get a brilliant rating.

I would like the ability to move around my temples, in order to maximize my defenses. I find it annoying that to have a good/upgraded tower near the end (near my gems) I have to allow enemies to come very close in order to let the tower gain xp.

Hint for all the players who hates assasins, use your god damn temples, and upgrade them to evil eye, also the frenzy spell will come in handy, and crypts with 3 charges is also very good seeing at least 1 of the charges will always hit (generally)

tips for beating level 14 : get adoration skill, and max up meteors(mana too), before you enter the boss, you have to save up over 1000 to make sure that he's dead. so sell all the towers on the right hand side, and leave only ones that have splash damage. Drop meteors, and quickly build 5 temples(use shift if necessary) and you can throw one more meteor, which is enough to kill the boss if you're quick

dont underestimate the use of fear, once i put skill points into it, made my towers do 50 and 60% fear, tracks were super easy after

Buggy. Red towers don't attack half the time. Other than that, great game. 3 Stars until fixed. Then it will be 5. Yes, aggravation is worth two stars.

Such a terrible waste of time, even playing on perma fast foward for every single lvl, in order to get a high enough lvl and have the correct skills lvled it took like 5 hours. My suggestion would be to make multiple lvls of fast forward, add hotkeys to the tutorial (hold shift click to spam stuff) and simply make this game a lot less repetitive. The specials on the so called "champions" are a joke except for invis, i just fast forwarded all of those too which is an indicator that this is a boring game when you can fast forward on bosses... 3 stars at best

For those who come after me. The key to getting Brilliants is having 500 mana and maximum power on your meteor. (i.e. fully upgraded). You can either have tons of towers, or a handful of super upgraded ones. Remove towers after a wave of smoke bombs, but add extra twers right before smoke ombs to MAKE SURE they are hit the second they enter the screen. Then you can be certain 90% of them wll unmake before getting to your gems. Smoke Bomb bosses are all about meteor though. BUT if you remove your extra towers before a Smoke Bomb oss, then the first hit on him wil be from a powerful tower, like the crypt, and then you won't need as many meteors.

Level 14 is brutal if you are trying for a gold star. The ninja champion turns invisible, and I unload 500 mana worth of meteors on him. He always has a sliver of health left.

Once you get to a high enough level you can do level 4 for 526 exp in under 4 1/2 minutes. Best experience rate I've found.

Ok after reading through the posts the two best tips I saw for the final boss on 14 are: Max your blaze skill and max a demon tower at each entrance for a big hit plus blaze damage on him to get the extra 500 damage. Other option is to shoot your 5 meteors then build 5 temples fast for extra 100 mana and shoot him again.

I have 14 Brilliants but after 5 tries I can not kill the stupid Wave 50 Champion Ninja even with 5 maxed meteors. Anyone have a tip for that?

Finally! Assassins and ninjas suck, but there are strategies to handle them, so overall a great game and a unique take on tower defense. 4/5

This is nothing like GemCraft? In GemCraft you make your own towers, and put gems on them. The only possible similarity is the choice to pick what level you play and skills. But even then, skills are totally different. Marcelles you are pathetic.... No one can agree that this is a rip off of GemCraft. >.>

5/5 but at one point (i'm not sure what happened i think the guy got feared) but he is in his group and something happens and he walks off the path through some terrain and off my screen luckily this didnt happen too early it was on wave 16 of 20 on path 6 but afterwards i couldnt click the "ATTACK!" button and after i beat the final champion i couldnt finish the path plz fix in an upcoming patch and vote if this same thing has happened (obviously not on the same path or at same wave but if that has happened to you as well then vote too!)

i really think there should be a spell that makes towers able to see ninjas for a short time, that way they wouldn't be so hard but neither cheap or easy

Great Game, it absolutely needs hotkeys, more than anything else it needs hotkeys for the spells at least. Including different terrain (and different tower types) was a great idea and adds to the challenge, great upgrade system, three catagories with an overall boost in range, power, and fire rate was also a great idea, overall 5/5 great job.
