Otherwise-no, including that, great game. The ninjas aren't that bad, actually-you can kill them with spells and shit, and splash effects like the ballista and the burning temple can mess with them with good timing. Usually I just chuck two or three fireballs in there and call it a day. What really pisses me off are the assassins. You can't autonuke them with fireballs. :(

had to add a comment on this, love the game is brilliant, more towers would be good as well as more levels as i don't want to stop playing :o) good job!
P.s, love the laugh when the gems are taken and removed from the level :o)

one gameplay suggestion. i build vs. ninjas. everything else is incidental. Reduce the invis duration by a second or even two ( if it works). I'm writing this in between ninja raids if that helps make the point.

This game is absolutely fantastic. I'm sad only because it's too short. That's the only thing I could mention on it's negative side. It calls for a second episode!

good game. However, I feel a little cheated by the boss ninjas with the smoke screens, when trying to get the "brilliant" awards. It's just luck whether a tower freezes/scares them, and if not, the boss will pick up a gem without any chance of stopping him.

How to get Brilliant (Gold Medal) vs level 14. The last champion is hard and requires that you have 5/5 Mana Pool, 5/5 Meteor Study, 4/4 Meteor Mastery & 1/1 Adoration. As soon as the champion comes out, smash him with 5 Meteors. Place 5 temples (for 100 mana) and cast the finishing meteor. YOU WIN!--Ace

Enemy invisibility is beyond lame. Something needs to be able to see through it so other towers can attack invis enemies.

The only thing keeping me from getting a gold (Brilliant) star on each level are the ninja masters. Even if you hit them early, they're already by your gems by the time they uncloak. The way I see it, I need to get lucky with a fear on the first hit or get the Ice Mastery skill and make sure my crypts hit the ninja master first.
5/5 from me because this particular TD is fun to the last level!

Great game. Finally got them all "Brilliant", needed to pretty much go just crypts (only other towers were ones to up my mana). Then spammed fireballs and thief champions.

I got on Kong tonight and was surprised to see that there was a new top game. I mean, there is rarely a new top game. Sonny held the spot for a while, with GemCraft and Bloons TD 3, and then those got replaced, etc. Anyway, it's still surprising when a brand new game gets the very top spot, so I thought I'd check it out. My first thought was, "Wow, one of those boring tower defense games. How did one of these things really get the top spot?" Now let me tell you, I don't dislike TDs. But cmon, people, THEY'RE ALL THE SAME. Except for the occasional new one, (loved Creeper Sim!) TDs don't really change. So I started playing, and wondered if I should stop. But I didn't. And let me tell you, I don't regret it. This game has pretty much embodied why people love tower defenses. Fun, exciting (though still the same...) I did enjoy this game. And it may very well deserve the top spot. (Though it kicked off Sonny 2... :( )

Needs different starting towers, ninjas need bit nerfing, more levels and endurance mode would be nice. great game in all other ways thoguh.

It's pretty fun, but you have a serious balance problem: ninjas. Ninjas are not fun, and they're the only actually difficult enemy in the game. As a result, the game lacks serious decision-making because the only enemy you really have to care about is ninjas. The answer to everything else is "more." More towers/upgrades/whatever.

the boss ninja is impossible to kill before he gets to gems... which means u cant brilliant the last level !!!! -1 which makes 3/5

How to beat those annoying stealth enemies: Put one tower at the very beginning of each path, to force them to go into stealth, so it can start wearing off. Then place a bunch of towers near the gems.

really great game like the different upgrade paths and spells desperately needs hot keys it doesnt take away from the game but it would make the game less mouse driven
