Instead of a frenzy spell, I would rather have a slow enemy spell. This would help with the comments concerning the thief bosses.

The game is awesome and worth a 5/5 but I can't say this is better than gemcraft, mainly because it has much more to offer in terms of lenght and variety. I felt that many possibilities had not been explored such as a way to counteract the extremely frustrating ninjas (a debuff spell maybe), the possibility of changing a terrain with a spell or that of buying a level up for the towers that see less enemys but I feel are important (both of which would add much to freedom and strategy). Also some special modes, such as survival, would be a nice addition. One last critic is that it felt unfinished, I would have liked a special champion in the last level or at least a congratulation screen. It's not much but I felt the lack of something special at the end. If the full potential of this game is explored in a sequel or a new version, it could really be the best Td game around.

This game is a brilliant example of a tower defense game. The only critics is that the ninja bosses can go invisible the entire length of the map, making it impossible to get a brilliant on any level with them, and the fact that the type of ground is set, and not able to be changed for any price. Otherwise, a really good game.

Easily one of the best TD games I've played. I actually like how the level system is set-up. Unlike the Penguin TD level up system, which is completely grinding for hours and hours to level, this one felt like a great balance and I never thought I had to level-up to win a level or even get a brilliant. In addition, even though there are only three different towers (six if you count the upgrades) I never wanted any other towers and certainly didn't feel like I needed another type of tower. The only criticism I have is that I beat every map with the undead towers. The other two towers really didn't serve any real purpose later on. I like the idea that only certain towers can be placed on different terrain, but if you make a sequel (and I hope you do) I would suggest making the other towers as important. Still fantastic game it gets my fifth 5/5 ever!

An excellent game with all the qualities one can appreciate in a TD game. I have no idea how to stop the phantoms from reaching my gems before I manage to kill them. They're a real problem, and I can never get more than "excellent" on paths with two entrances because of them.

Ninjas are SOOOOOOOOOOOO mean :( 3 waves of ninjas=sure loose of at least 1 gem
NO MORE NINJAS PLS !!!
And no more top comments!!!

The game is great, rated it 5 but there's one annoying thing:
The Ninja Boss. If your defense is up, vaporizing any other enemy in an instant, and the Brilliant star is just one wave to go forget about it if the Ninja Boss is on the way. :(

Great games but since nothing consistantly finds the invisible guys, they can just walk in take it and leave without getting shot

finally got all brilliants at level 35, key to the second last level is to sell all other towers except for one clump of crypt towers at end of round 49, they would hit the ninja champion all at once, freezing in first and killing in second blow. key to the last level is to make all the towers be mana drain towers, then nuke all the ninja's that get past.

Well it's a very good game the best Tower Defense on this site its a 4/5 star game because there are no achievements :( but very good game :D!!!

to counter theives just put a tower at the entrance and it makes the thieves invisable at the start, the earlier the better, this makes them visable before they reach the gems, and, therefore vulnerable!

GUYS I have glitch lvl 13 my ice towers did nothing to my enemies and any other tower that I used Apperantly I did this lvl again and it did this

There needs to be some way to combat those stealth guys because there is no way to kill them... they die in the middle and the gems get slightly closer every time and you eventually get them. There needs to be something that can see or have a spell where you can kill the ghosts because right now they are the only reason this game is even some what bad other than that though 5/5

Those crypts' charges should return back to the crypt rather than disappear if there is no enemy nearby the shot charge. It sucks when all your crypts shoot a massive hail at a ninja, one charge hits, and the rest disappear because of the smoke bomb. Therefore you must wait for the crypts to load, and meanwhile the ninja takes your gem. Would be a nice improvement. Otherwise, an intriguing game 5/5

Only problem I have with this awesome game is the damn bosses that starts off invisible and seems to stealth their way all up to the gems. These bosses keeps ruining my shots at getting brilliant on all levels, theres should be a spell to reveal them or a tower upgrade that did nothing but spot them, just for the sake of making the brilliant rating (no gems picked up during the game) more achievable. Still 5/5!

Great game. A few improvements. Hotkeys, more levels, reset skills, and a graphics quality option. Not horrible, but it does get a little laggy when you are full of crypts and creeps on screen. Also, you may want to nerf crypts. Given that they do not sacrifice damage for their insane range, they are really all you need.

The best tower defense game ever! Love the details in the graphics like the craters and skeletons. Also the sound design is excellent, with audio for every action it could have been irritating but they chose the perfect clips every time. Some of them are also funny like the frightened heroes running away. Strategy and gameplay is pitched just right and the upgrades are varied and interesting. I love being a dark overlord! :)

good, but not as amazing as i thought when i saw the ratings. very well done, but rather shallow and short compared to other games of this kind. no skills reset, only three kinds of towers, and most of all, ninja mobs (and bosses especially) are too powerful if compared to all other mobs.

love the game. It would be nice if there was a spell or talent that could uncover ninjas, but if not to prevent escape all you have to do is make a undead near the start and have guys ready near the middle (and don't forget haste spell). 5/5

Awesome game, but the brilliant achievement for some levels can only be achieved by either luck or overpowering it through leveling up and coming back.

It's a good game, but I fell that the ninjas and assassins are annoying. I'd also like if gems slowly moved back to their starting point, because often a gem right at the edge of the screen will be taken by a champion without any hope of fighting the champion.

Think I have to agree with Froodjakle on the ninjas - the normal ones are all right, but the bosses can get to the gems in one cloak. My suggestion would be more weakness towards the meteor, or as mentioned by someone else a hotkey for the Meteor spell - at the moment it's a nightmarish test of reactions to kill the boss, often on the last stage.

True, Ilfirin, it was just one of the things that came to my mind. Don't get me wrong, I love most of the ideas in this game, and the unique additions are EXTREMELY refreshing, but some of them are just broken. Although I would have to agree, making a kind of tower able to hit/decloak them would work just as well, although I would say it should be any of the Crypt towers, since they feel underpowered except for the ability to fear on a random chance.

I think removing the ninja would reduce the game's variety, I think it would be much better if the Orcish Den would be able to hit ninjas even if they are invisible, would add some strategy
