only thing i dont like is the invisible units. i know they set off invis when they're first hit but the invis lasts too long. for some of the maps the invis lasts almost the whole way from start to gem.

Super good. This is the most professionally produced, interesting, and playable TD games I've encountered. My only suggestions—and it's very trivial—is that the enemy's stats, vulnerabilities and strengths are not readily evident. (It sometimes requires a play-through of a level first before a "serious" try is made.)

Good game, a few bugs : once, the gem countdown stopped, but after it was supposed to reach 0 the teleportation occured, except the gem was invisible. Another time, after teleporting, the gem looked inside the cave but a foe picked it where it was before teleport.

There is a slight bug: When the game starts it's paused durring this you gain mana wating long enough you can get full mana this way making the upgrade useless

Well, I am not a big fan of tower defense games, but this one is really awesome and a lot of fun.
I liked the mix of RPG, strategy and tower defense in one game. Maybe you should add some achievements ingame..
Anyway there were some things I didn't like, for example those thieves... they are very annoying even if you have all upgrades.. Of course they are not too hard or anything, but their boss-form is just unfair if you want to get brilliant in every level, because it is too much based on luck.
Why luck? Because you have to freeze and/or frighten them in the beginning so your towers can destroy him once he is visible again.
Also the whole game is a bit loud, but that's not too annoying.
Anyway, since I enjoyed the rest I will give 4/5.
And one last thing: the game is a bit too short for me! Maybe you will make a sequel or more maps?

@caligosus I'd rather have it the other way around, with the old standard showcase, but the extra option of showing the top rated comments. And even then, I don't want to have to change tabs to go from the comments to the game, and back again. All in one page would be best.

One of the best tower defense games I've played in a long time. Bravo to you. Btw... to get brilliant ratings, don't let a monster reach the gem. Even if they briefly capture a gem and you recover it (via skill) and win with all gems in your nest, you will not get brilliant.
Also fast forward doesn't have any bonus effect. You do get speedy mana recovery but it appears to work out the same as if you didn't fast forward at all.

Found a bug when i am playing and the creatures get a gem then drop it i have the portal skill it send it back to the base area but even tho the gem is gone creatures still can walk up to where it was last dropped and pick it up even tho it shows in the base.

very well done, one of the best TD. Lost of nice and elegant combined ideas: experience and money based tower upgrades, excellent skill upgrades system - that brings in new game elements, some good variety in enemies. maybe it could be a tiny little bit harder e.g, had to restart only two level, because of wrong tower choice in the beginning. the bosses are very easy to repel with fear. hate those ninja, but if you hit them early, they are not so tough.
anyway lots of fun for me 5/5, no question about that.

The ninjas are to strong in comparison with other enemies. Also a way to return a gem to the hoard would be nice, e.g. slow return (by a minion) or paid return.

Needs to be a way to decide what targets get attacked. Prioritizing targets with greater or fewer hitpoints would be a good start, or targets of a specific class, or targets with a gem.

Like it alot! One of the few tower defense games that keeps me coming back for more. Can't wait for the inevitable sequel. More levels please!!!!!
