to kill that 2.500 hp meteor-spam-resisting ninja from second-last level, here's what i did:
-max all meteor-related and mp skills. max freeze. have a crypt tower at high ground near both spawning points.
between lv 49 and 50, sell all other towers with range to hit the spawning points that are not banshee towers (max upgraded drain crypt towers), so you guarantee the first hit will be from a banshee tower. then you spam meteor on that ninja and cross your fingers so that either remove ability or freeze will work. i got it on first try, so i guess it's not that hard.

Ninjas are the best part of the game because without them the game would be to easy. So everyone stop complaining about what makes this game a challenge!!!

How come the champion ninja of the second last lvl doesn't die from 5 meteors with max power and? I feel like I have wasted my time, every time It reaches my gems and take one out..

Ninjas are way overpowered. They can make it through most of many levels with their invisibility and placing crypts near the end makes them just waste their shots. Everything else is pretty much balanced and fun, so it's a real pity.

how can i get brilliant rating at lvl 7? i am only lvl 17 but that damn last ninja boss touch one of my gems....#frustrating

I'm level 22 and I'm sure i've killed way more than 200 enemies, how come I still haven't got the easy and medium badge?

Unfortunately, ziltoid82 is wrong. The ninja champions on the last level can be killed by spamming meteor provided you've fully upgraded it, decreased it's cost as much as possible and increased your maximum mana to 500. The second last level ends with a champion ninja that has 2500 hp, 500 more damage than you can deal from the meteor spam. This means your only chance to really get a brilliant rating is to freeze the ninja, or remove it's ability. Either of these requires using crypts. Hope that helps for the hard badge.

@veskoXX: you gotta get a briljant rating at 15 levels, and to get a briljant rating you need to make sure no enemy so much as touches your gem for the entire level.

Well, i just got my 15th Brilliant. It's really strange to know I'm done with the series now. A 3rd better be coming. My best piece of advice for dealing with Ninja is the Burning Temples. They are the perfect weapon. Put down a few in the 1st wave so they'll be upgraded for when the ninjas come. Most of the time, another ninja or enemy will trigger the temple's attack. Not only can they hit ninjas while stealthed, but they have a huge range. You can easily take out 4 at a time, even if 3 are cloaked. Using 4 Burning Temples I was able to kill over 50 ninjas in the last level, without having to use a simple Meteor spell. And you're going to need all 500 mana to deal with the later Ninja Champions. Also make sure to place a few towers close to your gems. That way, the few ninjas that do make it through, they will take out the last bit of health they have left when they uncloak. Always be prepared with a spell just in case though. Amazing series.

@zzmadskillszz: There is a fast forward button just to the right of the attack button. Click it and everything moves..i think twice as fast, now sure exactly but it goes much much quicker. It'll turn yellow if you did it right. Click it again to put time back to normal. Hotkey for it is F. Personally I suggest that.

How about this; They do not target enemies with gems as a first priority, simply because if they did, the game would be less realistic. Who would see who's carrying what in the heat of battle anyway?

great game, the only problem is with the balance of the enemys: quite simply, NOTHING can give you real trouble, except ninjas.

Its a bit pointless really, you can build a whole army of towers, but still the guy can walk pass your defence, without dying

My only thing that annoys me is that there is no target selection which is the one thing that should be in the next expansion (strongest,weakest,Armor first,Ninja first,ect.)

I hate it when the discs from crypts disappear when there are no more enemies on screen to attack. It's funny when a single enemy comes in, three crypts shoot and kill it and the very second the disks disappear, more enemies come and my crypts have no charges... Unused disks shouldreturn to the towers.

Would be fun, if the towers worked properly. I'm sick of having gems stolen because my main tower array decides to take a 5 second break during a critical moment.

Bah...easy...after going to to the end with these crypts its like butchery. No other towers needed(except for mana)...as for ninjas...its still not that bad even without upgrading meteor mana cost(just mana upgrades from undead tree, and thats enough)

I have the same thing to say about this one as I did about CT Level Pack..probably because it's the same exact game with different levels and colors. Fantastic game, not THE best TD but still 4/5. What makes it a 4 instead of a 5? The Goddamn Motherf*cking Ninjas. They're just as much of a pain in the ass as they are in the Level Pack. They are the only ones who ever reach my gems. The best way to combat them is the meteor spell, but you need enough skill points to fully upgrade lowering it's mana cost, and also starting with and having more mana. So, for those of you who hate the Ninjas, just keep playing till you can upgrade the skill that lowers Meteors mana cost and how much you have and start with. That way you'll have enough to use the spell on every wave of ninjas that come.

Come on, why have they not added a reset skills button? It can't be that hard to do, and many people want it, seems like a simple thing to make many people happy.

@xMoordeanaar I recommend a barrage of ballista towers in the beginning. As long as nothing auto hits it, such as the Arrow dens or the Demonic shrines, then every ballista tower in range will fire, which will hit it before and after it cloaks. Fire off 4 meteors, and have an evil eye/beholders tower waiting at the end for it. The extra damage will apply to your final meteor. One or both will help you pass high-health ninjas.

Those champion ninjas...(Level 14 Wave 50, Level 15 Wave 40) The only reason I don't have the hard badge. Any tips? They survive 5 maxed out meteors and are stealthed from entrance to the gems, so I just don't know what to do.

One of the best TD's, enemies have abilities, towers are original, upgrade system is fair and works well, maps are challenging, and the whole game has that great elemental twist!!! 5/5
