I don't really think the game is that great. The levels take too long even with the speed up and attack buttons. It's an interesting form of tower defense but it's not as fun as I would have thought if I had been told about it before playing, if that makes sense. Still, 3 or 4/5 for a well made and pretty cool game.

If you are having trouble with level 14 meet me in Mockingbird County chatroom. I can tell you how to do it without freezing. Please come whisper me.

God I hate level 14 so freaking much. The few times I do actually freeze the ninja, well an earlier ninja luckily touched the gem. 25% chance to freaking beat the level and I still haven't beaten it for the freaking hard badge.

FINALLY! got the hard badge. Last was lvl 14, to handle the ninja boss I used a hellfire temple on the high ground, hunters den and two ballista at each entrance. When it came in, it got hit by the hellfire and den, as well as the ballista shots, so it could be killed by 5 meteors. I also had 2000 cash to quickly buy 5 temples and use another meteor if I had to. was lvl34

Spent way too long getting the hard badge, must have been fun if i did though. 5 stars!
14 was by far the hardest for me, ended up winning by having 3 maxed towers at the entrances on each side (ballista fearful and beholder on one side, 2 ballistas and a beholder on the other) and hitting the last ninja with 5 meteors

I love the game 5/5 although it needs hotkeys for it easier to play. Can't wait for the sequel of this(maybe 5 :D).NINJAS AND ASSASINS ARE VERY EVIL >:(

Levelling up your tower abilities; great. Balancing ready cash against upgrades/new towers; fun. Suddenly having to wake up on the last level to play hunt-the-ninja with the mouse like this was some kind of real-time shoot-em-up; rubbish.
If it were possible to win the game using just the towers without blind luck (theoretically, if a crypt hit the ninja first & froze it for long enough the smoke bomb would wear off; then Frenzy might finish it off ... but in practice even if that happened, they run too fast for you to get a Brilliant) ... anyway, if *just* towers on their own (possibly with Frenzy) could stand a chance against ninjas, it would be a 5* game. If there was a way of uncloaking the ninja, that would do it.

The assassin is the only thing killing my enjoyment of the game. No reason they should be able to survive five meteors, continuous fire and a barrage of charges from crypts.

Bug on Level 6 - had fast speed/mode on, wouldn't let me use the attack button afterwards, and game would continue normally. At end of level - after the champion was dead - didn't end the game. Instead just hung there. Anyway - good game in any case. I'm enjoying it.

I love TD games for a reason :P they so god dam addictive!!!!!! i played more on this game than any other game just to get the Hard Badge (which takes ALONG TIME) and i finally got it! Epic!!

And once again, cutdown upgrades are useless. By the time you can afford to spend points on them, you should be headed toward bounty hunter anyway which is alot better, and by the time you've maxed that and dabbled in masteries to reduce upgrade costs (also better than cutdown) you'll have got the hard badge.

Ok, a good score should be all 'Gold' by level 15, all 'Brilliant' by level 25. Pushing down below that should be hard, and if anyone can do it, I'd like to know how. Otherwise, stick to my strategy guide. Dens at first, then temples in the middle and crypts on the backrow/high ground. Crypts are the strongest, and temples generally the weakest (though they rock in a few places especially when they can catch ninjas). For 14, you need max meteor researched, then reverse the usual strategy - crypts front row, dens back row. This will make the normal play trickier than usual, but by end 14 you should have a fully upgraded crypt that will unload everything on the boss ninja. Hold down shift and spam all 5 fully upgraded meteors. This combination should take down the boss.

damn ninja boss on lvl 15 wave 50, brilliant round, and the freaking last ninja survives 4 full yupgradead meteors, and just by a hair misses the fifth one >:(

mister the ninja at the end of 14 without hellfire thhing and crossbow thing hitting together and 5 meteor hitingwith max upgrades unkillable

Is there anything more frustrating than when even a meteor strike that you keep for emergency also misses that goddamn assasin and ruins your "brilliant" attempt.. :/

I swear the game is set against me I have only encountered lag once in the entire game and it is on level 15 wave 40 the ninja boss every single time causes my computer to slow up so much that I cant hit it enough to kill it with meteor and as soon as it gets to the gem my lag is gone im on my 25th play through and this has happened every time

Me thinks everyone is having problems with those ninjas xD I have a Demon Tower with the one that damages all near by, cause then if a ninja and warrior come along, the tower attacks the warrior and damages the ninja, plus if there is lots of ninjas it triggers all of the smoke bombs

Being able to change the target selection for the individual towers would be a good idea. First target, strongest target, fastest target.

wow, the only time my gens have EVER been stolen was from a ninja that went invisible, really not cool. bring it's time down to like 2 seconds or something, it's time is outrageous now! CHANGE IT! 5/5 otherwise ^^

Neat game, I really liked the mechanics. The levels were rather poorly designed tho, making the game tedious after a short while. Wish that was better, but thumbs up for everything else.

Level 14 is quite easy as it is. You have to put temples on highground and upgrade to AOE damage. On the first two green spots you have to have catapults. Then when the last ninja dude comes along, you hit him with both catapult and temple AOE damage, and 5 meteors each for 400 damage. Bang! He's dead! ;)
