A good strategy that worked well for me. You have to be very high level to do this, but it rocks. Step on, put as many points as possible in mana buffing stats. Second get the skill that gives mana for building rock towers. Third get the green skills that give you more money, and buff cut out as much as possible. When you play build mana draining crypts and build lots of rock towers to boost mana. Use your mana to cut down alot of trees, this gives you money which you use to build more rock towers and get more mana. Repeat until you have so many towers your computer starts lagging. Then you have enough towers.

Fun for about fifteen minutes until you realize its boring, repetitive and painfully unoriginal. Absolutely no different than any other tower defense game ever made

my only wish is that this game either had a slowing tower (freeze upgrade is not the same) or maybe a tower/upgrade to see the stealthed ninja... That said, I love this game!

The ninja champion is difficult to counter; five seconds is enough to reach the gems. And champions come alone so you can't use area-of-effect attacks targeted at another enemy which hits the ninja champion "by mistake". --- So, have an ice tower use its freeze ability! This will freeze the ninja champion *before* he can use his smoke bomb, so make sure you have enough firepower in range to kill him before he unfreezes (and instantly goes invisible and make it to the gems alive). Alternatively, once frozen it doesn't take much skill to hit him with five meteors. Hardly elegant, yet very effective. --- Note on ninjas in general: they only go invisible once you hit them for the first time. So place a tower which can hit them as soon as they enter the level. Normal (non-champion) ninjas will become visible again close to your gems, so have some firepower ready for them! Red towers (temples) are very good for this; they fire continuously and will reliably hit all entering ninjas.

I hate to sound like a sookey baby, but the upgrades are just too hard to get. Maybe increase the starting gold amount? Also a reset gems button would be nice. It could cost 25% of full manna perhaps. A reset skills option would go a long way towards increased playability as different skill settings could be used on different levels. All these things together would make the game less frustrating the first time through. Without these additions I can only rate the game 3/5.

Alright, I know the assassins are supposed to add challenge, but don't you think the miss rating could be knocked down to...say, 30%?

I think if people think the game is to easy then they shouldn't play. Its what the game maker wanted so stop complaining. IF YOU ARE THAT GOOD THEN GET BRILLIANT ON EVERY LEVEL THE FIRST TIME PLAYING THEM ALL WITHOUT ANY GRINDING IN THE LOWER LEVELS. Take that as a challenge and stop complaining

I love this one, the fact that you can upgrade skills adds a lot of fun to the game, wish there were many more levels to keep playing. 5/5 (and i'm not a fan of tower defense games)

The difficulty is artificial, it relies on the enemy becoming intangible and not on level design or well balanced mecanics. But the realization is good, so everything is here for a good game, except game design.

nice game, the upgrade / skill techs are fair balanced i think, and there enough for a really good game, but there should be an endless level to make it even better :> 5/5!

the only part of this game to me thats hard is lvl 11 because i have ALL the skill points and the only thing that gets to touch even ONE of my gems is the final ninja champion...i cant hit him with 4 meteors b4 he gets there and thats how many it takes to kill him =/

Anz hints to pull brilliant on 14th? I have meteor fully upgraded, max mana and it's not enough. Son of a gun always grabs the gem and runs with it for a half a second.

about assassins(those that dodge damage and take your brilliant away,i have some hints to help you pass em,first, assassins dodge damage AND DAMAGE ONLY,so ability's still work, with that in mind i suggest using burning temple and chilling cript,as theyre super upgrades slow and take abilities away

I just encountered another game ending glitch. I leveled to level 10, and on the skill select screen, it wouldn't let me continue. Undo and everything else worked though.

I beat level 10, and on the Mission Complete screen, all the numbers were 9's, it said I had beaten level 25, and my name was displayed as "Longest Name Ever". The game also froze.

There are good tactics for brill on each level go onto youtube and type in Cursed treasure level 1-15 which ever you need help with and try to follow instructions it's easy to do 12-15 with a higher level character.

Awesome game, really fun. I'd love to see a level editor for this. Maybe more spells or a way to change terrain types. That said, I really liked the idea of towers earning xp when I started the game, but have come to be annoyed by it. Basically you end up with a few superpowered towers near the entrance, one or two wherever the ninjas become visible again, and the rest of the level isn't worth placing anything at all. Maybe if tower xp offset the cost of upgrades this would be more interesting, or if all towers of a given faction shared xp somehow. Still, fun game and 5/5, the first tower defense I ever liked.

Everyone complaining listen up. best way to avoid lag is to not USE BUNCH OF FREAKING TOWERS!!!, ok so yeah i have only made it to the 11th level but i have always used the crypts, they have amazing range and it makes level ten super easy. and yes, the ninja's are a pain, but they can be dealt with SAVE YOUR METEOR FOR WHEN YOU CAN CLUSTER THE NINJA'S OR THEY ARE REAL CLOSE TO THE GEMS! When you upgrade your Crypt Skill completely you have an amazing thing thats called freeze really helps out against both ninja's and blades. the only reason i lost on one level is because the Assassin Boss was dodging. thank god for the fear effect of chilling crypts or else i wouldn't have done any damage to him.
