Fully upgrade the two meteor skills (lower cost, higher damage). With 500 mana you can kill even the toughest ninja boss. Easy. Great game, btw.

Fairly interesting, but rather slow gameplay. While it has some new elements, I see it as just another Tower Defense game.

It is a pretty nice tower defense, simple but fun. I love the sound of the thieves laughter when they take the gem lol.

I love this game. This is just as good, if not better than Gemcraft. The skills are nice, and I love the smug sounds of the enemy's stealing my gems. The types of towers and enemies are nicely varied, and the effects are beautiful. However, a skill reset button is direly needed. And if the fast forward butten gave you more xp, or mana, this game would be so much more than it is now. BUT, as it is, this game still deserves a 5/5. Good job IriySoft :)

GLITCH I upgraded my tower while frenzy spell was on and it wasnt affected anymore. All other towers still had frenzy on I saw it!

5/5 needs badges.
ninjas are very difficult to beat and game should have more than 15 levels.
anyways great idea of uprgrading skills evry level

My only complaint is the invisible bosses. They are so hard to stop from getting to your gems, epsecially on the small levels. I can stop every other wave, but that boss can slip in and grab a gem. he gets killed before he leaves, but when he touches it I lose my Brilliant medal and just get Excellent :(

I disarmed a ninja and he could still smoke bomb. i hope this is a bug, because there are already so few ways to do anything about ninjas.

I like this game a lot!
However, I have one reservation/question about the damage based EXP system. Does damage dealt by Blaze and Poison Cloud add to the EXP gain of the towers that dealt the damage? If not then there is a problem with receiving less EXP overall for monsters damaged with Blaze/Poison. Maybe I'm playing the game wrong but this is a slight issue for me.

i commented on this before but now that i have completed all the levels i have a few summarizing things to say. the most irritating thing for me was the fact that soul charges out of the crypts dissapeared when their target died if they werent close enough to another target. maybe fix this or make a talent in the undead tree to correct this, i got really tired of losing lots of charges when one creep charged out, got targeted by 12 souls off of four crypts, died after three souls hit him, thus wasting 9 of the charges for when the bulk of the creeps came through. secondly after playing through all of the trees individually there is very little variance of abilities beside the final one. imo these need a little more thought to make each one have as much utility as the other. i found that even when i specced into red or green trees, the crypt still did the highest raw damage till special abilities came in.

Don't be afraid to defy convention. On almost every level, money isn't even an issue. There's no need to include it just because every other tower defense game does.

Game is great, just wish that somehow, some way, there were about twice as many levels. 15 wets the whistle but still leaves me thirsting for more.

If the last enemy is a boss-ninja it is almost impossible to reach a "brilliant" (it's only possible if you're lucky enough and the first hit frightens him). This sucks.
The rest of the game is great though.

Skill trees are well-thought-out and balanced, which is what really elevates this past the run-of-the-mill tower defense game. Sure, it's another TD, but it was fun enough for me to play the whole way through. Top notch!

very smooth and addictive - great game. Some issues though 1. to easy 2. more levels needed! 3. Ninja-Bosses cant be prevented from touching the gems in some levels, so "brilliant" is impossible to get there. 5. fully upgraded towers are to powerfull

There are 2 types of people that play this game. 1.) Those that look at the lumberjacks complaining the game is too hard, and the lumberjacks complaining the game is too easy. Which are you :) Finished the last stage at lvl 19.

I too have taken a certain level of enjoyment from this game. My only complaint is that it has no purpose. With a few upgrades and two or three brain cells anyone can limp through these few available levels, but why? There's no story. There's no variation. There's no motivation. Paste a purpose on top of this stable structure of a game and you'll really have something. Oh and either make the Meteor spell much better or make the Ninja Bosses much easier to kill because there doesn't seem to be any way to prevent them from at least reaching the gem hoard and messing up my perfect game for no reason.
