I figured the solution to the "last boss is a ninja and gets to the gem in a single cloak" would be to use mana crypts to disarm the boss, but that doesn't work. I managed to disarm a ninja champion and he still turned invisible - maybe the disarm took effect after the invisibility, but even then I think it should remove the cloak. It would also make the mana crypt not completely useless (does anyone ever feel like they could use more mana?)
Great game, very fun, but could be more difficult overall, and brilliant ratings should be made less frustrating. In most maps it's incredibly easy, but ninja boss makes it very difficult unless you get lucky on freezes and fears - and even then they shrug it much more quickly than any other unit.

5/5 I love this game, definitely my new favorite TD game. One thing that I think needs to be added in though is hot keys. Multiple times I have been so close to getting a brilliant but I couldn't drop in my meteor fast enough to kill the monsters before they reached my nest. However with hot keys it could make dropping towers and using spells much easier. Over all a very good game, job well done

4/5 not bad. I liked the WoW / warcraft esque towers. Only thing annoying about this is the ninjas like everyone else already stated...perhaps if the meteor knocked them out of cloak so your towers could then attack them it'd be better.

5/5. Really had a good feel to it. Even though It had only 3 towers, the game was still extremely fun and simplistic(but this did not make it too easy or hard!). The fantasy element I liked quite alot in this game. The upgrades and subclasses to towers made it fantastic as well! I hope for a sequel.

If you're having trouble on getting brilliant on lvl14, here's what I did:
Since the ninja champion on lvl14 is the only one that you can't outright kill with fully loaded meteor strikes, we need to do a lot of damage before he disappears. Basically, you use a Fearful Crypt to freeze/fear him, and use a Catapult Den to do the damage. Position the catapult one square behind the crypt to get the timing right. This is easier to do on the left side, so make sure you have more towers on the right side so the ninja boss shows up on the left (I think that's how it works).

Thieves are definitely overpowered as they are right now. As BlackPigeon said, they should appear when they grab a gem

Really good game, but if it had either more missions or a free play mode, that would be nice. I really like how the turret system is, but having another turret or two wouldn't hurt.

I very much enjoy this game. Some might complain that three types of towers isn't enough, but it works very well. It's simplicity is great, and you quickly sink into it and it gets deep and you have to start strategizing. But along with everyone else I want a skill reset button...

Normally I don't like tower defence games but I loved this one. Keeping it down to just three basic tower types really helped as it made it much easier to devise stratigies and meant upgrading was really important to diversify your layout. Having the enemies steal items rather than just passing a point was a big plus too as it meant you could stop the enemies on the way back and recover. This, along with the spells, kept you from failing just because you didn't have a perfect setup. I was able to beat the final level in this while most TD games make me give up because of frustration or bordom. Now I'm going to try and get perfect ratings in each level.

crypts are so overpowered and temples are piiieeeep bad-___- and the ninjas are stupid cos u cant do anything against them but if u choose the right skill way the game is really good 5/5

This game would be PERFECT if has shortkeys for spells and towers, and ( optional, this is less important IMO ) a Reset button for the skills. BTW awesome game and 5/5, sure.

just a few things: have a reset skills button, Ballistic den thing says "shots" when it should be "shoots."(not a problem though) also assasins and ninja seem to be a little OP. Assasins should have a lower dodging rate and ninja's smoke bomb lasts a bit long.

Very enjoyable game, my biggest issue is the ninjas or any other dissapearing enemies. Everything else falls like flies and little by little they bring a gem closer to the exit, it's pretty lame : /

I like this game, but there's no way it should be the top-rated game on Kongregate (which it currently is). The Gemcraft and Protector games are much deeper and much bigger.

It would be even better if you could use som sort of barricades. Also i wouldnt mind if the ninjas were stronger at some point or recived reduced damage when stealthed if there was a talent to let some kind of tower to spot them. Maybe the fire eye thingy or the orc small arrow one.

Great game. 5/5. In a utopia would like more tower types and upgrades, but this is fun. Badges! Also, when on fast forward, seems to be very slight lag difference (AI favored) enemy speed and forest ballista fire rate and freeze tower rate. Just noticed that once. No real complaints. :)
