honestly, i don't see the necessity to rank up all the way to get the hard badge.In fact, i am only lvl 23 and already have 11 brilliants, 3 excellents, and 1 good (lvls 1-11 brilliant, lvls 12-14 excellent, and 15=good). The Meteor is the only spell you really need to focus on anyway, so maxing ur max mana + lowering meteor mana cost + Increasing meteor dmg does real help in the start of the game when u are just starting to rank up.

The only really annoying enemies are the ones that "MISS" and the ones that ppl call "Ninjas" or the ones that go "invisible" after 1 hit. i find it that a powerful attacker at the front could kill the Ninjas in 1 hit anyway. Well, at least for the most part. I only put Crypts on high spots since they are the beasts.

i found a glitch. i dont know how it happens but when it do happen you cant skip to next wave with attack button. and at end you wont win you have to restart. happening to me on level 6 idk y

this game is god damn RUINED, by ninjas. they're bullshit. are you just supposed to always have 5 meteors on hand? what if there's 3 ninja waves in a row? then what the hell are you supposed to do? THE MAPS AREN'T LONG ENOUGH TO ACCOMADATE FOR 5 SECONDS. 3 would be better. even if the maps were longer it wouldn't work because of the EXP system. my towers can kill everything save a few and i have long range to deal with them except if they;re invisible until they're right next to the gem box. i can't even build towers there to kill them because towers out of action don't get expierience. there is no way to deal with them other than using meteors and they are limited and bad because they take exp that your towers could be getting. NINJAS F UP THIS OTHERWISE KICK-ASS GAME.

Good game, I like the upgrades, and once you learn the shift trick this because exponentially easier. Still difficult enough to be fun.
There is a MAJOR issue with the clicking, at least for me. It seems whenever I need to click on something badly (a tower, or a meteor to save my Brilliant round), I'll click on what I need but it won't show up to build or shoot. Some tinkering needs to be done to make clicking respond better.

To beat level 14 with a score of brilliant: Upgrade your Ghost Towers' Freeze ability to maximum. Make sure nothing is around the both entrances except for one or more Ghost Towers, so that the first hit on the Champion Ninja is a potentially frosted hit. After the Ninja is frozen, shoot it five times with a fully upgraded fireball. Of course, there's only a chance the Ninja will be frozen, so you may have to attempt this several times. There may be a better way... but this is what I tried and it worked for me. If you know of a better way, I encourage you to post it. I would have liked a more reliable method.

ninja bosses and ninjas are REALLY annoying. they go past your towers and then steal your gems. this makes the hard badge REALLY hard >=(

Dropped from 5 to 4 because of the Level 14 boss -- going through 50 waves and then hoping for the 20% chance of freezing (IF you max that stat) to have any chance of beating him is a terrible design decision. Even hitting him with the strongest one-hit tower AND the max amount of max-strength meteors isn't enough to keep him from grabbing a gem..

I don't get why everyone has problem with ninjas...
Assassins can be way mor powerfull, runing through your whole defense nearly undamaged and then avoiding 5 consecutive meteors.
Great game by the way. Has been a long time since I had so much fun with a TD on Kongregate =)

Kinda funny game, but yet i fail to see the point of the ninja that you can only hit with meteor, or wish for random luck with fear/freeze. It really made the game worse - Even though i completed the game, but hated it most of the time, and still do now. Also, shift isnt enought, hotkeys is needed.

It's fun for the most part, but the assassins are kinda cheap. I mean you have a random chance for them to just dodge damn near everything.

The ninja boss in lvl 14 is just pure luck... That's kinda lame.
You have to play 39, rather easy, waves. And then you just have to lucky enough for freeze or fear to activate. It's especially irritating when you've put your skill point in skills which don't help to kill the ninja....

I don't get it, everybody is talking about the shift button and spells etc b ut I don't see anything about spells and when I press shift nothing happens!

It seems I encountered a bug on level 12; I completed wave 40 , yet a congratulation screen is not poping up. Instead I hear an occasional string sound, probably from a invisible enemy (I cant see him) :P

Yay at Lvl28 finnaly all Brilliant :D Key is to put a Freeze tower + 3 Green balistas at the start where Lvl 50 boss comes, and than nuke him down:D
For all other lvls: Fire tower at the special hight place, and a Balista next to entrance, further put Ice towers at he Special hight places because they cover a large area. Rest is up to you, oh and dont forget to Cut down the forest:P

Aaah finally gotten Brilliant on all the levels. :3 14 being the most annoying one due to the last boss being cloaked to and meteor barely got him even when I maxed it out.

The exp on the evil eye tower seems to be a little off. cant seem to get one to level all the way up to max level during a normal game even with it right at the front and hitting every mob on its way in. I do have maxed demon tree.

Firstly, great game 5/5. But I do have some problems with it. 1) bad interface. I have to click alot more than I should, especially for upgrading. 2) The projectiles the crypt shot, if the enemy they are targeting dies, they disappear. I think they should return to the tower. 3) I wish you could send in multiple waves at once, I used to really like sending in five waves at once on the old tower defense games. 4) there should be some kind of special bonus for putting the full 40 points in one area.

Lpfan Im with you, the real fun is to try to get brilliant at the levels without replay then. I made a rush at level 7 taking all brilliants without replay any but I think Im stucked now. I need to rethink my tech tree, so maybe I will restart the game again.

The only way to kill the wave 50 Ninja boss on level 14 is to have a crypt get the first hit and have its freezing ability proc. It has around 2400 or 2500 hp (dont remember exactly) which means that after your 5 meteors do thier 2k you still have some change hp left to do on your own. This means waiting around until wave 50 several times waiting for the % to be in your favor. If someone has a better way let me know. Its either that or fully upgraded Orc tower get a crit. No tower will outright do the damage.

There's a glitch where guys can run off the map and the attack wave never ends, and since you don't kill him you don't get the 'wave complete' thing at the end where it adds up the points.
