awesome TD, even better than bloons TD and gemcraft TD, although the bosses should have more hp, as it is now they die one second after they enter the screen. 5/5

I've always had a ninja as the final champion on 15. Today I had a mage...did it get changed for the weak or have I just gotten lucky? I don't think the hints on the badges are fair. Everyone should need to figure out the difference between Excellent and Brilliant on their own. The same for how to hit stealth ninjas.

Two most important changes/fixes:
1) Add hotkeys for the 3 buildings and 3 spells... if not for all 6 then DEFINITELY for meteor. Hotkeys for 'upgrade this tower' and 'upgrade this tower to specialty tower x' & 'upgrade this tower to specialty tower y' would not hurt either.
2) Add a reset skills button.

5/5! Very cool idea that the towers get exp by hitting enemies. (seen also on protector though). Cool tower defence with terrain restrictions, cool graphics, nice music and good fx.
Gameplay is nice also.

Wow, apart from some minor things like hotkeys and a skill reset this is probably one of the best TDs I've seen for a long time. The difficulty level is spot on, it's hard enough to be challenging even in the easy levels yet it doesn't become impossible later on. (It could be slightly harder I suppose but then I think an unlimited rounds mode would solve this pretty easily ;)) The enemy types also force you to have a strategy rather than just spam towers and hit fast forward and the use of spells is actually useful as opposed to other games. A flawless 5/5 from me :D.

Most disbalanced enemy is assassins. It's very hard to get brilliant when you miss with 6-8 towers and 5 meteors in a row.

Absolutely needs hotkeys for spells. Near impossible to beat the ninja bosses to get brilliants without hotkeys :( Also, I think green towers should be scaled up just a tiny bit to be on par with the others

So much potential, but yet I wasn't completely satisfied. This game is definitely NOT an epic fail, but I sure feel like more can be done with this. I mean seriously, I feel like this could compete with Gemcraft sometime down the road.

Brilliant game, the best TD I've played in years. Everythign's already been said in the top comments...
One more thing: Needs another hard badge: Max out all skills.
@kamikazoo: the waves are set, you'll always have a ninja boss at some levels. You need to prepare against that. Have a few fear towers at the start, preferably max lvl with lax ice mastery. Use Frenzy right at it's entering and hope it'll get frozen. Then, bombard it with (upgraded) meteors.

i don't know why all you people hate the ninjas, i almost never lose gems to them, assassins are horrid, missing 1/2 the time, although i think it's a lot high chance than that...

Great game with nice design elements! However, game is too easy. The only difficulty really comes from Ninjas. So my suggestions 1) Enemies in general need to be tougher other than the ninja 2) fear effect needs to be weaker 3) there is very little synergy between the towers 4) Spell hotkeys would be nice.

Getting "Brilliant" on the last few levels is difficult because the final boss is very fast and goes invisible while he runs to touch the gems. To defeat them, you either need to use meteors while he is running (max them out and you can do 400 * 5 = 2000 damage) or rely on your crypts to freeze/fear him (max these out for best effect). If you rely on the second tactic, only put crypts near the entrance otherwise he will go invisible when an arrow hits him first. Try to put two crypts near each entrance and level them as high as you can. Have at least one maximum level crypt at each entrance to have the best chance to freeze or fear him. Also, make sure to turn the speed to Normal when the last boss comes so you have time to launch your meteors. Good luck!

It seems to me the main reason people are complaining about spell hotkeys in particular is because of the ninja bosses, and the need to spam meteor. In case you don't know, hoolding shift + clicking works for multiple casts of the same spell as well as putting down multiple towers. Works great for mass deforestation too :)

a wonderful game but the ninja thing is pretty stupid
at least some towers should be able to target them
maybe those on high ground or mana spots or a third spot but they really ruin the game for me, especially the bosses 4/5

I might have found a glitch.
If you have no gems in the mountain thing, and the boss guy picks up 1 and you kill him (thus no more enemies come at you), the game never ends.
It might be because I have 2x speed on as well. I don't know.

For level 14 ninja, upgrade the Ice master and Frenzy master to Max. When start, build some ice towers nearly near the entrance of the map and upgrade to Max. Save enough magic point for fire ball. Before the wave of ninija, click FRENZY then immediately click attack to send the wave. If you got luck enough, the ninja will be freeze and use fire ball quickly to finish it. You may need some try. Good Luck

This card challenge actually took a tiny bit of understanding this games mechanics to do, which was cool. Normally the card challenges are just "hey what's this game?" Play for 5 minutes "cool got a card"

Because nobody notices it in the instructions: HOLD SHIFT TO CAST A SPELL MULTIPLE TIMES WIHOUT RE-SELECTING IT! Shift + Meteor = Dead Ninja Boss, no more whining about ninjas.
