This is pretty much my favorite defense game right now. It doesn't allow you to have as much flexibility with your cannons as most other defense games, but I like how they make you think more strategically about your choices given the terrain restriction. The three magic spells all have interesting uses, and the three skill trees are a refreshing treat in an oftentimes lackluster genre. My only negative comment here is the ninjas. Units that turn invisible for a set period of time are fine, but I wish I had a tower with some form of detection! Taking all of my defenses out of play for several seconds is a bit inexcusable.

Ninja strategy: put either fire temple or orc den as close to beginning path as possible, trigger ninjas as soon as they appear then load up buildings near the gems.

this game supposed to be hard because it is not really hard because all you haft to do is put out the red and blue building.

There is no sure fire way to get brilliant on lvl 14, but the way I found to require the least luck is to use ghost towers (fully upgraded mana steal crypts) on the two high grounds near the entrances. This gives a 25% chance of freeze and a 25% chance of disarm, either way killing the ninja boss easily.

Ninjas and fear... I see ninjas with the little fear lightning-bolts still running TOWARDS my gems. Is this a glitch, or does fear get suppressed when they're smoke bombed or something? :-\

Everyone rating a game they slightly like 5/5, Game is very limited, I'd rate this 4/5 but after seeing GemCraft and how indepth a tower defense game can be I have no choice to rate 3/5, don't be such zombies and stop rating everything you like 5/5 and don't like 1/5, this is the sole reason youtube switched to like/dislike and it seems like Kongregate should do the same

That 2250 hp ninja in level 14 is really unfair. He is impossible to kill even with 5 meteorites. And his cloak lasts for much more than 5 secs.
