Level 14 is the most difficult, if the Assassins don't get you by dodging all your defenses and meteor strikes to move it 3 pixels, the Ninja Champion will take all 5 of the meteor strikes on level 50. Well, retry number 4 schedule for tomorrow. 5/5

great game 5/5 but i think ninjas are a little too perfect, because they almost always get to my gem and move one so i can't get brilliant

GLITCH
On lvl 13 about half way thru i couldn't click the "Attack" button at all, which was really annoying. I finally beat the Boss on wave 40 and I didn't win, the game just keeps going but with nothing happening cuz there's no more waves. Great game but that really pissed me off

Hotkeys would be a nice addition, for building towers as well as spells. Also, I killed an enemy as he was leaving with a gem and it glitched the game. it now thinks that there is always an enemy on screen still, even after all waves have completed, so i cannot finish the level with a win despite having killed everything.

Fun I like it although ninjas can be a super pain when trying to get a brilliant lol one time a ninja got a gem and only moved it like a centimeter it was still in the cave thing and barely moved i almost cryed

4/5 Stars. I find it utterly frustrating to fight through an entire level (14) strategically building towers and upgrading them, only to have them rendered useless in fighting the final boss. It basically comes down to how fast you hit it with meteors before it can grab a gem. If you miss him, you have to crawl your way back through 49 levels to have another shot at him. Otherwise this game would be 5/5 easily.

This is by far the best tower defense game i've ever seen. it has a perfect dose of stragedy and difficulty and offers new devices for killing those creeps. this original concept of dens, crypts and temples- as oppose to arrow tower, cannon tower, flamethrower- is a great idea. this game is also a pioneer for the levels and skills system, which really adds to the gameplay value and also increases replayability; as in order to get those brilliant ranks, you need to upgrade your special abilities and tower effects. i eagerly await 'don't touch my gems! 2' which could supply even more great concepts and even more creep blasting levels of fun =D

@ Barragor Just make sure the first tower to hit it is a fully upgraded Fear Tower. Should buy you enough time for the invis to wear off.

(srr for triple post ^_^ ) @ Loveshovel: Indeed, it takes out some of the strategy, but in the end you can earn your points back just by levelling up. So I do think a reset-skills-option is necessary for the simple reason: "why not?"

... Level 14 end boss can't b killed by 5 meteors... that's bullshit man, getting perfect through lvl 1-49 and bye brilliant >.<

nice TD, i must say though, that the 2 enemies that bug the heck out of me are those Transparent Dudes (once hit become transparent and cant be hit again for a while), and those guys u try to hit but it keeps missing. I want to get the hard badge but I can tell it takes time and ranking up. I only finished to lvl 10 and got Brilliants in lvls 1-5, but am only lvl 12 in Skills. Did I mention I REALLY like the meteors?

(srr for double post) I LOVED the last level ! It looked totally epic and I was like "how the hell am I supposed to do this?!", and when I was 10 rounds further I really liked how smoothly everything went :D

@ LoKdEnLoAdEd: The alchemy spell you mentioned is actually already implemented in the cut forest spell (actually I mostly use it just for the money). But I agree with the dodge-crypt-projectiles-thingy you mentioned, and the more unique bosses and ofc the hotkeys ;)

BUG: on lvl 6. an invisble enemy run into the forest and out the screen. after the 20th wave, the lvl is not winned and continueing like an endless loop

It's a nice change to play the bad guy defending himself against heroes in this style of game. Great sound effects and music as well. Nice job!

Well balanced, I appreciated interactions of the towers, enemies. Mages mean you have to stack your towers together, ninjas mean spread them out..., AOE vs. indiv damage.

Know Some Stuff About Assasins :
After Assasin's Get Uncloak/Invisible Arrow Turrets And Crypt's Could Only Attack Assasins's!
The One's That Cannot Attack Assasin's Are Ballista
I Have Not Try This One Before But Just Try : When Assasin's Are Cloaked/Invisible And You Want To Attack Them You Get A Burning Temple And iIt Has To Be Close To Close To A Chilling Crypt, Theres A Chance Of One Of The Assasin's to get Decloaked/Not Invisible From Getting Chilled With 1st Decloaked/Invisible And It Got Chilled And Moved To A 5ft Cloaked Assasin There's Might Be A Chance To Hit Both Of Them!

Shift + Spell shortcut seems to be broken since the 1.06 release. (MacOS X - Snow Leopard in Google Chrome). Would like to echo previous comments, this game is great, and would benefit form keyboard shortcuts for casting and placing towers. Ninja bosses rely too much on luck, it is frustrating to play a 40 or 50 wave level over and over hoping that you will freeze/fear the ninja boss on the first shot.

really hard ninja bosses alway take away my brilliance award and turn it into a excellent and assassins always dodge my tip would be to not try to get brilliance awards for the first 10 or so levels then with all your upgrade points put them into what you think might help to get the brilliance award for the first 5 levels

The best way to deal with Ninjas is to have an attack tower at the starting points of the level. This makes them drop the smoke bomb right away. The smoke bomb wears off as they get close to your inner defenses which can usually take care of them. As noted by others, holding down the shift key will allow you to shoot multiple meteors. When you have a champion that is a ninja or "magic effect immune" this really helps as an upgraded meteor cast 4 or 5 times will kill them straight out without any assists.

k... well finally finished l14 - the last ninja took like 20 tries- oh whatever, still worth it - needed to build temples to recharge mana to hit it with 5 meteors + extra 100hp with first strike...
NEEDS v2, NOW!!! =)

The shift+meteor shortcut doesn't seem to work for me. Is there any there any other way to get multiple meteor shots in a row, besides clicking wildly or hoping the first chill hit will freeze the ninja bosses?

How To Get Mana Faster : 1st you put as many towers in the 3-4 blue gas pumping out
2nd : get the undead turret and upgrde it to ghost

Hint to people having trouble getting hard badge: decrease the cost of cut-out and meteor. Then increase meteor damage and money gained from cutting woods. Next max increased mana, starting mana, and mana regen. With what you have left, put them into tower damage, +1 crypt charge (very useful) and increased starting money.
