Samurai's Should Not be Able to Dodge Fire Tower's For one thing the Fire isn't a Missile/Projectile it is a Constant beam of fiery doom and you Should Not no matter how ninja you are be able to dodge that.
Still Its a 5/5 Game. ;P

Nice twist on tower defense. Feels like RPG meets TD. I'm not a fan of upgrading only towers that get action, but it adds another strategic element. 5/5

The game is a lot of fun, until the end. I want to throw my computer across the room watching 1 50% dodge mob run right past a line of 5 towers, not taking any hits, and getting a gem, ruining the badge attempt 15 minutes in.

For the Boss on level 14. Pray to God that you hit 100 damage in your first hit, and then you can kill him. Here's how. 6 Meteor Strikes. Six? How the @#$% do you get Six? Temples. The adoration skill grants 20 Mana per temple. Get to slow mode, Spam the first five strikes immediately. VERY quickly build 5 temples. Hit him again. (if you're really fast, just build 10 and hit him with six) This requires obscene amounts of money so I'd get Cut Out Mastery and Study and never keep more than 400 mana in your pool until the very end of the game. (as in use cut out to keep it just below 400 until about level 38. Use it when needed on meteors)

The problem is that invisible bosses. Their cloak last more than i takes them to reach gems, even if you hit them immediately after they enter the map. And that guy on 14th level can't be destroyed even if you fire all five meteors at once. Also disarm doesn't work. So... what now then?

Besides being the best defence game EVER! it still needs a little fix - 1.(hotkeys) you really need hot keys even if you have shift - 2.(bug) on level 13 i got a bug someone got stuck making it un able to end the game or launch next attack wave. - 3.(more levels) Needs more levels and a ulimited wave one. - 4.(creat your own) creat your own map. --- All these improvments would keep this game at the top of kongregate youd always win money and so forth EVERYTHING ELSE IS EPIC HOPE TO SEE NEW ONE SOON!!!

@barneyzedinosaur high speed mode make your towers shoot faster and the guys come faster so high speed is only to speed it up for u so no extra exp points should be given

My opinion about skills, hope it helps:
ORCS: Worst of all groups, invest only for +firerate
Gold vault - good. Height advantage - good.
Cut down study - crap. Markmanship - crap. Bounty Hunting - Awesome!. Warchief - crap. Poison - crap. Mining - good/awesome if not gonna try to get brilliant. Cut down mastery - excellent. Lich king and freeze - excellent. Soul Vault - excellent. Frenzy mastery - good.
UNDEAD:
Mana stock - middle. Mana pool - Awesome. Frenzy study - very good. Mind Control - Totally OVERPOWERED!. Mana extraction - good.
DEMON - training excellent, others also marvelous. Avoid only scorching treasure and return portal ;)

im starting in the demon section, got 3 brilliants and im lvl 8 its a good gam and the different enemies give it a better game play but on lvl 2 there should be a lvl 2 champ not a lvl 3

To deal with ninjas: Build temples! Their area of effect attack can kill them easily with 1 shot when upgraded enough. Just need them to deal 100dmg at very first NINJA WAVES, and 200dmg at later ninjas.
To deal with Ninja Champs: As was written before - fully upgraded meteor. At lvl 14 I put Temple at heights in both corners and Crypts at the 2 others. Also always sell your low towers to not make him smoke to early. before casting meteor let your high dmg tower hit him fist.
To deal with Assasin (dodgers): Use frenzy skill, 99% none of them will survive.
General tips: You can easily beat half of game using only crypts, just upgrade them to have 3 bullets, cheaper upgrades and fear, fear, fear! It rocks.
Few maps that will left, use Red ones, I didnt use their weakening upgrade, since it last only as long enemy is in range.
In my opinion Dens (green) sucks a lot.
Remember to always put tower on mana pools, you gonna die without it.

The Assasins simply grow annoying in the end. When they dodge the third meteor spell you throw their way, for the third game in a row, ruining your brilliant win, you start to tug at your hair.

It would be very nice if this game had a survival mode over 50++ waves I could only imagine like wave 100 having a grip of champion ninjas.

How about an XP bonus for high speed? it can be harder to play when you are fast forwarding. LOOK!!!!!!! You can hold down shift for the spells! You can cut down 10 forests in a row if you have the mana!

Nice game, I really like it. However I think the Assasins' dodge chance are a bit much, should be like 30-35% instead of 50% (I'm actually failing on Brilliant awards, because of those assasins not because of the ninjas :P) It's simply too luck based for me :(

Here is a little tip, towers get xp for every attack they do, not for the damage, so if you only upgrade the towers closest to the gems, then all of the others will get xp. You just have to know what is coming in order to know what to upgrade.

Aww man.. I already got perfect on all fifteen levels on notdoppler.. now I have to do it again? I remember one of the levels was particularly annoying...

This game is definitely one of the best Flash games and I've played a few. It even made me do some challenges for myself, at first I tried to finish level 15 with brilliant without casting any spells, but I couldn't make that work, the ninjas always manage to touch the gems. Then I tried to finish level 15 with only using High ground and no spells and getting Excellent, but I lost one gem. :( But extremely fun anyway.

I used a slightly different method for finishing the level 14 ninja boss. I used crypts at both entrances with ballistas or more crypts (depending on the entrance since they have different terrain) to back them up. With the crypts maxed out (and assuming you have the freeze upgrade on your crypts), there's a very good chance that the ninja boss will be frozen or frightened with the first hit. This should buy enough time for the smoke screen to wear off, at which point the rest of your defenses will be able to participate in attacking him. Add meteor showers until finished!

Eugenius tip may work (but the boss can appear both ways), but I managed to kill the lvl 14 last boss using the 5x meteor, 5x temple, 1x meteor strategy. Just leave a place with 5 close spaces to build the temples. Wait for the first tower hit, hit 5 meteors in a row using shift (don't wait for one to end before sending another), build the 5 temples using shift and you'll have all the time in the world for the last meteor.

5 Fireballs are not killing the Ninja boss at the end of level 14... any tips? I'm just putting a bunch of Ghost Towers at the beginning and hoping for a freeze at the moment... any other ideas?

I really like this game. The tower leveling system is pretty solid and the skill points are well done.
However, the towers could be slightly better balanced. The crypts are a bit OP and level far faster than the others (despite skilling up that area for dens and temples). Temples level extremely slowly unless they're at the very very front.
And I hate the meteor spell. It's a tower game, not a shooter; using meteor is like a shooter. The other two spells help your towers and tower building.

I've heard a lot of complicated strategies for the lvl. 14 Ninja Champion (e.g., use 5 Meteors, then build 5 Temples really quickly to get 100 mana from Adoration, then use 1 more meteor), but they aren't really necessary, and it takes ungodly speed with a mouse to do that kind of thing anyway.
Just build 4 or 5 crypts around the left entrance to the map and let them level all the way up. Then, between waves 49 and 50, sell all the weaker towers so that the crypts will definitely hit the Ninja Champion first. Assuming your towers are strong enough (invest points in the Temple line of skills to boost Damage), they should all hit him more or less at once and he'll be dead within a few seconds. I didn't even need to use Meteors to finish him off.
