I usually don't like defense games, but this one really impressed me. My only complaint is that it's too damn hard too get brilliant ratings. I hate those f***ing ninjas!!!!!!!!

This game Rocks! Its excellent, But I think it needs a bit of work in the "fear" state, I always use a crypt in the higer ground and it covers a good part of the screen but sometimes the scared enemy runs forward instead of backwards... in a ninja this can kill you... But I remark, THIS GAME IS EXCELLENT!!!

This truly is the most satisfying game I've every played on Kongregate....normally in tower defence games there is an imbalance so you end up grinding and it's boring, but here the flow of building experience and skills and range of upgrades is well-planned. It's challenging without being stupidly frustrating. WELL DONE!! I'm addicted...so far 10/15 brilliant and going strong.

yeah.. dancing blade dodging meteors? that's a bit of bullshit, if ya don't mind me sayin =P I had 3 chilling towers shoot all 3 of their shots at one of those things and EVERY SINGLE ONE MISSED. I think the 50% makes it damn near impossible without a healthy dose of luck to beat certain levels.

Any chance you could add a level editor along with a level rating system? This way players can make new levels and other players can rate them. I liked the game but there's little to no replay value in it for me now, though I do have several ideas for new levels.

The only thing I'm ranting about is that somehow, the unit that has the 50% chance to dodge hits ACTUALLY DODGED MY METEORS. Other than that, I rate this game 5/5. Can't wait for the sequel! Loved the concept that you actually get to play the "evil" side in a tower defense for once and also the high ground concept.

for the annoying ninja champions save enough mana to crush them with meteors. otherwise try to freeze them with the crypts or with the banshee tower disable their hiding skill.

Really good game, it feels like something but a tower defense for some reason, even though it is. It might be because of the skills, it just makes the game so much more fun. =D
One thing REALLY irritates me that the whole of Kongregate does, not just any specific games. When I save a profile, the profile just deletes itself after the computer is turned off. For some reason my profile was wiped out after a few days of playing, but still. I was level 23 and was on the 15th level with around 7 brilliant rated levels. PLEASE, PLEASE fix this problem Kongregate. Thumbs this up if you want Kongregate to see this, and fix it. =)

good game, but i noticed a few bugs.
1: on the levels with the mana adds on them, you start off with a lot less mana regen
2: im not sure the assasin has the right to avoid my meteors, thats really annoying since you spend all your mana to blast five metoeors on him and he still lives.
3: when you inflict fear on a human when he is in the middle of an intersection, he just changes to the other one and runs down it, giving you no advantage.
i voted 4/5 because of good graphics, a variety of enemies, a twist to the tower buying system, and the fact you have two chances at killing them instead of one. but it almost seems as if there is a bug on everything on here. ill change my vote if they bugs decrease.

WTF is this sites love for TD games the only good series is Bloons, not this... not GemCraft... I think TD are not special they are repetitive and in essence different versions of the same game. This game isn't special. Bloons is. I don't think that this should be the best on the site.

NONONO. No hotkeys. The developer probably left them out on purpose to increase difficulty. Do you really think he or his testers would miss that?... So stop + rating those comments saying it should have hotkeys -.-

Basics, no special. Rogues, slightly more HP and fast. Warriors, more HP but slow. Paladins, immunity to any status.
I'd say that these are the least ridiculous of the special unit powers. I mean, a 5 second cloak? a 50% evade rate? (cloak of evasion maybe?) a life barrier that recharges itself?
So much fun to deal with :D

Spell hotkeys... please... at least for Cut Down...
Also, ninja bosses need nerfing and the other bosses need a power boost.
