The game is nice, but really, who in tarnation put the medium badge? Since when a MEDIUM badge needs hours of gameplay??

It took me awhile to figure things out. I had to redo the first mission repeatedly for many reasons: Not enough experience to keep up with the demand of the levels, it doesn't matter what mission you run for awesome-quality loot, the only thing that determines your success or failure is the number of health potions you have (which are inexpensive from barrels), and the trader will only switch out more items if you run through a mission. Things improved once I ignored the amount of health on an item and focused on whether it provided appropriate buffs.

what a crapfest: 1 level my character just keeps on running out the level in the void so i have to reload from beginning, then another level i play 1 stage and it keeps on loading the 2nd level infinetely so i restart the stage and now the game wont start at all and keeps on loading. my character is level 18 i played several hours and now i cant finish the game and have i wasted all effort for nothing. gg dumb developer.

WARNING! avoid putting points into flame skill points tree while playing sorceress, her incinerate passive has about 1.5 sec delay, which lowers your auto attack speed, its better to put skill points in other trees

Sickle1986, I think that the base of a good warrior would have to have 5 points in glorious battle and superior interception. the skills to get there, i think shield bash is superior to counterattack, so get 5 points in it and no points in the other, while crushing blow is pretty good and should receive 3 points. that being said, because these two skills are chance, you should get items that increase it, (after you get immunity to shock and stun/freeze at least)?

Few tips for newer players. 1) Avoid wearing heavy armor... Always use Leather as a Knight. 2) Farm level 1 about 10 times in the beginning, you will get lots of gold and items and potions, whilst becoming stronger and making farming easier and quicker. 3) Sell your potions for 50gp each to make some good money. 4) Always use the fastest weapon you can find

5) Always check the traders goods when you find one, he may have an upgraded version of an item you currently have.
6) Unlike other games, Magic Find in this actually works, so get a full set of Magic find gear for farming items with.... MF also affects your end of scenario items.
7) Try to get a weapon which heals you per strike, and a shield which has at least 2 elemental immunity's on it.
8) Try to have a few sets of weapons on you, or armor, this will help you defeat that Troll who has Armor, by simply swapping your weapon over to a piercing weapon, you can kill it easier.
9) Most importantly, don't rush into battles, and use your brain.

What I love especially is when I use a health potion and I see my hitpoints increase, but the game still tells me I died, because there is a lag in communication between different parts of the game.

Cast magic missile while moving, the missile went off screen I couldn't use it until the next stage. 5/5 would set out a search party for my missing missile again.

@Vimez after playing both classes to level 20 and finishing normal mode with both, sorceress is far and away the superior class. I used far fewer health potions due to Magic Armor's damage reduction and the healing you get from Phoenix Strike. And once you get Polymorph and a few pieces of armor with +special attack chance, even the strongest enemies become a joke. But the main thing is Magic Armor- it gives 50% damage reduction when fully upgraded, and is applied before armor bonuses that give a flat damage reduction. It takes the right armor but sorceress can be an absolute tank and can still deal good damage. Dump your skill points into Magic Armor, Phoenix Strike, and Polymorph, get armor with stun/freeze/flame/shock immunity and -damage taken and a wand with self healing and ignore armor/barrier, and use Magic Armor before every fight.

that game needs some possibility to buy potions from every moment of the game (like sell) or just better weapons... that gameplay with repeating 1st level for a lot of time is just painful...

Why does someone spend the effort to make such a nice game and then just makes such basic mistakes with gameplay? Skills are badly done, mission rewards suck and special attacks/blocks need to be redone. Is this an Alpha build or something?

The key animation is unnecessary on hard mode after the first time it happens. Every time after it just stops the game for no reason.

Used a health potion in time to restore my health but game still claimed I was defeated. There are enough broken games on this site, not playing another.

need to be able to flee battles, fighting a guy that regenerates more hp than i can hit who cant hit me makes for an infinite battle....

Just realized the character casually swaps which hand he holds the sword and shield in. Smooth, lol. But yeah aside from some of the really weird art and meh animation, really fun gameplay wise.

are there only 2 acts? i finished the game on "normal", where end of act 2 but dont know what happens next? no ending or more levels. is there more if you beat all levels on hard and impossible. it would be great if you could keep levelling up. seems a waste of time if you cant keep going to help with the impossible levels.

Legendary items are useless... Wepons included... Cant get a full resist set, Weapins do not ignore armor and barriers .. So use gems on Epics

Alright, played both available classes. Must say: Warrior is the only valid class here for several reason: A) The sorc has no reliable cc's like the shield-attack. The +25% HP-recovery on potions is way too awesome. And (although the description states different:) that sorcs need to get in close combat they somewhat lose what i would think was an implied edge of em. My sorc was getting toasted in lvl 3 the first time. The warrior though ran through all the dungeons with ease (having had no chest-armor till late Stage 1-4^^). The characters need a balancing there.

@dorestes Not true. It takes some patience, but it is perfectly possible to have "full" protection with a legendary set.

Suggestion to add icons for the status of your character. Like frozen, attack reduced by plague zombies, or I think my attack speed is reduced sometimes but I can't be sure or why
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Given how incredibly important resistance to status effects is, it's sort of annoying that even the best legendary set only gives immunity to two status effects.

The knight is apparently ambidextrous--he switches his main hand and his shield hand depending on which direction he's turned!

Gets boring. I feel like I'm fighting for nothing if I can only get to level 20. And all the armor is the same. I'm suppose to become a god with overpowered armor through all my hard work, but instead it is a game a chance. The quality and level of the armor is all based on chance. I just feel like this game has left me hanging. It is a good game though, but overall, I give it 3 stars.

Nice little game but a bit monotonous... I REALLY MISS a list in skill and/or inventory screen that shows the current effects from equipped items (f.ex. freeze % and immunity to shock a.s.o.).
I dont care much about the story in these kinda games, but this is unusually bad - and often illogical, like; dont tell me to search for a gem without telling me its dangerous to touch it..!!!

The graphics are good, it runs well enough, the music is nice (but a little bit monotonous in the long run). But at the end it's sadly rather boring. It's the same all the time, you don't have anything to do, you just click and watch the little guy fight the same kind of monsters again and again and again. If there would be a captivating story, some kind of a real goal to work towards too at least. But not really. All in all it's a mediocre game from the assembly line.
