The grail I got didn't have any bonus besides its basic one to spell damage. Given that I can get an extra 26% from a random skull I found, the +8 damage gets overshadowed. I have the same base damage (so, an average of 65). Meteor doubles that to 130, but my spell power is 55%, which puts it to about 195.
Remove the 8 bonus damage from the grail (so, average 57, meteor 114) and then add 86% spell power, and it averages out to 210. Oh, and I switch back to using a wand with MUCH lower damage and the grail once I'm out of mana, since getting 2 attacks before the enemy even gets to act gives me a much higher chance to outright finish the fight before it starts.

improving the rewards after completing a mission wouldnt be a bad idea, i mean getting a common glove after fighting for 20 mins isnt specially appealing....

Unless someone else has found a better way. At least for my run through my best damage has come from the 2 piece bonus of Indigo (+5), 2 piece bonus of Abbot (+10), Sacred Grail (+8), and then I found a broadsword that does 31-38 damage. All that together I have a base damage of 59-71 with 55% magic power. My fireball does approx 150dmg each time across the map with 338 mp. Anyone else found a better way to mass kill a map?

Ok - i was wrong - 'chicken' is not the most awesomely funny thing ... 'inferno flaming chicken' is the most awesomely funny thing! Also, adding a level map to know where the exit is would be nice. **last comment - I promise!**

Also, adding a label when hovering over pillars/shrines to indicate what effect it has. And, make the chicken spell available earlier in the skill tree - it made me change my rating from 4star to 5star - so awesomely

Having a serious problem with the 'chicken' spell! The chickens are sooooo cute - I don't want to kill them - I want to take them home and cuddle them!
Aside from this, nice game - would be better if items auto-collected (or if this was an upgrade - having to click chest/barrel, then the item, every time is a bit redundant, given how much room there is in the inventory, and the option to sell during mission. I agree that an 'autosell' button for basic items would also be an improvement.

counter attack should really be instant...its absolutely not. The enemy often gets 3-4 attacks in while the player just stands there and goes....oh wait right...counter attack

blocking should never be a disadvantage. but it is when going against regenerating and berserk enemies. I block the attack coming to me but it also cancels out my chance to attack.

So this is what I gleaned from the comments: the game is a beta. The parts of the map covered with clouds will NOT be revealed and accessible as soon as you have cleared the other maps on difficult and/or impossible missions. But there is no mention of that anywhere, except for the very beginning when you load your character and are told that you have completed x% which reveals that only the two areas are accessible. That is not ok.

How about giving us a weaponsmith? Most common loot seems to be boots.Trying to get a decent weapon that balances between speed and damage is impossible. I just get offered axes and cudgels. Meanwhile most enemies have decent weapons, but I can't pick those up.

Would be nice to have a unique armor vendor &/or gambling with gold vs gambling with premium currency. Granted- premium currency does have decent drop rate, I tend to have ratio of 100:1 gold to shards and get better items from in-dungeon shops using gold than even some of legendary equipment (not counting set bonus).

Wonderful game. Funny plot and decent mechanics. I also like how it's painful to die but not quite terrible. Would've been a rare 5/5 from me if it wasn't for occasional freezes. (I'm using Linux+Firefox.)

1-2 Hard froze for me between portals. Mildly annoying, but still a cool game. I hope you take the engine and skeleton of this game and make more cool games like it Dev. Especially if you can replicate the Final Fantasy Tactics formula... loved that game...

Really repetetive and grinding game without any real rewards for your effort. Warrior's defense skills are pointless, because block mechanics are pretty much useless. Skilled everything on damage, stocked on 30+ healing potions and even with that it took me couple of evenings to complete the medium badge.
