Premium content is set at a very good price. I was going to donate 25 creds to the game, but then found that premium content is at 30 creds. So to anyone that is thinking to donate to the game to support it - I suggest taking the premium content instead (very quick and easy for us folk that have some cred balance sitting there to donate to our favourite games)

@albertL14 - Each level has 2 bonus stages worth 1 extra star each(so 2 per stage, 28 total). for the last 2 stars after that you have to click the little arrow at the top of the screen and visit their FB and twitter pages.

@giray: Visit the Twitter and Facebook pages of Ironhide to receive these stars. Contrary to what said in-game, you don't need to follow/like them there.

it says that 62 stars are available to acquire, even though I completed all the levels, I got only 60, there might a bug or something

in the lvl 8 (icewind pass) if you use the rain of fire in the frozen cave you will be able to hire a sasquatch with 2500 hp and 50-100 atk for 500 gold, plus for other gamer see too

All I can say is invest in your reinforcements. The upgrades may seem expensive, but I cant tell you how many times those little guys have saved me from disaster. With a 10 second cooldown time on the power that summons them, where can you go wrong?

Easilly one of the best tower defense games i've ever played. I hardly 100% flash games, but this was an exception. Achievements are not annoying, and challenges are hard enough to keep you entertained for a while. Plus, it's one of the very few tower defense games in which every tower has a purpose and is useful somehow. Add innovative gameplay elements and eye-pleasing graphics, and you got yourself a masterpiece, 5/5. Defenitely considering premium content purchase for this one :)

i tended to give 5 stars to this game. sad, that not the whole game is playable. ... premium content ... sorry, just 1 star. never seen high rated games that we have to pay for on kongregate

Tip: DO NOT BUILD ARCHERS!! Make all your cannon towers into tesla and build mages putting the purple one near your exit and build orange ones for the golem. Build your knights close together to group them so your cannons can pound thine foe while they are stoped. Also keep an eye out for the turd burgler.......hes sneaky

strategy: dont put points into reinforcements - not worth it.
meteor shower is your best friend. Max out mage tower first + barracks imo.
Bombard tower comes handy later (esp Tesla) so dont bother at start.
Best way to deal with demons is to put a poison tower at front.

There are some great games, that started from a simple idea, and got so popular, that now they're on consoles. Castle Crashers. The Fancy Pants Adventures. I hope, that Kingdom Rush will soon get so popular too. It's great and innovative. 5 stars, favourite.

Only, only, only thing I'd like added to this game is some keystroke commands for Rally Points. Possibly tower upgrades, too, but that's not as important. This is easily my favorite game on Kongregate already, so obviously it's not like it matters. Just a small suggestion.

Additionally, Rangers can be used to remove Necromancers from blobs of skeletons, because if you give them Poison they'll seek to poison everything they can. This also causes them to ignore skeletons and Magma Elementals if there's anything they can poison within sight. This will cause them to completely ignore the summoned skeletons and kill the necromancer outright.
Then they'll use Wrath and clean up all the trash for you. Honestly one of the best towers.

A useful tip for challenges where you can't use artillery:
Rangers make pretty good mass trash disposal when they use Wrath of the Forest. Use them to dispose of huge swarms of guys.
It also is nice because it stops them for a while, and if you have a bunch of Rangers, you can nearly bring enemies to a halt by chaining it, while the spell and the Rangers' arrows kick their asses.

Seems that devs are not olny Blizz fans. The Bucket of Bolts makes me think they are fans of Lada Kalina :)

Premium addons are fine but make life too easy. I beat all levels without it. Magic, esp. the late powerups, is a bit overpowered and too cheap related to others.

Definitely a cool game, but would like to see maybe a sandbox mode for each level so after you beat the game the levels just keep going so you can see what wave you can too. Also a 2nd game similar to this would also be cool.
