I've played a hell of a lot of tower defense games, and this is one of the best. Some fantastic mechanics and different ways of approaching the genre. 5 stars.

It was great the first time on Armor Games, and is still great the second time on Kongregate. One of the top TD games.

The fire pillar might be worth 100 gold, for tight spot but not worth investing more. The evles are the best as each is like a powerful archer tower, but you need to put soldiers in front of them so they dont melee and die. the sasquatch doesnt really work because he is not in a strategic position.

This TD is a little harder then some others.
A few hints that helped me.
1. I would recommend putting points into archers, fire, and reinforcements.
2. Try to set up barracks further back and have archers cover the soldiers.
3. Dont quit if a few get past on the first few waves, several times I came back and won after getting 4-5 guys past early game.
4. Airterlary towers should be placed near graveyards.
5. Save fire for necromancers or when you have large groups of enemies such as dogs.
6. I wouldn't recommend using the little bonus in-game defenses (elves, Sasquatch, fire pillar, ect...) they are just not worth the money.

I feel kind of silly never noticing the sunray tower or the Sasquatch thing until I googled about the exploding goats...still a great game!

a shortcut Key to send the next wave woud be great. its a self achievement in itself to try to call all the waves as soon as they pop, but sometime you dont have the free time to move your mouse that far.

An elemental transformed sheep got into my town and did 5 damage. Sheep can actually do damage to your town and soldiers dont stop them.

(Spoilers Alert!) Here's some tips! --- v. Juggernaut: build multiple mage towers (Helps to have upgraded mage with stars at least twice), upgrade at least 4 to arcane (note: having more towers is better than upping arcane towers). Bosses like smashing small guys for some reason, so 2-3 lv. 1 barracks practically stops Juggernaut in his tracks. --- v. Veznan and J.T. - Soldiers/elementals don't freeze if their tower gets frozen! Have a few major towers you want to save whenever they freeze - usually 500mm Big Berthas - and make most others barracks. Saves you a lot of work. --- Can't beat necromancers? You can use rallying to prioritize targets. Well-targeted Paladins with holy strike or earth elementals are effective against ranged units. Also, max level wood-archer towers' Wrath ability does well, as well as 500mm Bertha. If you don't have any of these by the time necromancers come - especially the Bertha - you're doing something wrong.

Level 12 is way too hard. Almost impossible to clear the waves in the first place and then... Needs adjusting a little. The step up from 11 is too much in my opinion.
