The reason why spears dont work on the challenges is, that the upgrades are blocked to a limited level. It's shown in the Challenge "Upgrade max lvl X". All upgrades above the level X arent working in this challenge

tip: if ur enemies are in a chokepoint, never put the reinforcements right with the enemies, but near them. they will wait, which leaves them vulnerable to archer, catapult, and mage shots

I'd like the game a lot more if "skills" were active during the challenge modes. I understand why they aren't, but still.

tip: you czn complete a level on normal with one star and later complete it on easy for 3 stars and still have the normal difficulty that's needed for achievements

polymorphed units leak way to easily... reduce the sheep move speed, so random sheep in groups don't just run though all your defense or allow melee units to attack them with non ranged attacks (sheep can still be moving). Another way to fix this is to have sheep move little then stop for 2-3 seconds then move again, etc..

It would be a little better if instead of stars you earn exp killing enemies, so if you lose you can still improve your towers, but the game itself is AWESOME!!! 5/5

There is too much emphasis given to the splash damage tower in the beginning as to make it too difficult for beginners.

Heroic and Iron mode have upgrades' level limit. There are maximum level on the Description of each level. Just read.

5/5... great game. Finally finished all the iron challenges. One of the things I loved about it is that it does get pretty difficult. Great job! More please!
